Hello friends! Vanessa here with an autumn card mixing the wonderful Fishtail Banner II dies, Woodsy Creatures, Harvest Happiness and Comfy Creatures.
For my card I used one of the pretty sketches Mendi provided here. First, I die-cut the Fishtail banner from a panel of woodgrain patterned paper and a circle from its center. Then I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder. Now I stamped the pumpkins, masking the first ones before stamping the next, and colored them with Copics. I backed the circle window of the panel with vellum to tone down my background and adhered the panel to the card. Then I stamped, paper-pieced and colored the fox, die-cut him with the matching dies and adhered him to the card.
I might repeat myself, but it is so fun to combine the various stamp sets to create new, cute creatures! Thank you for visiting today!

Halloween Cuties & Fishtail Banner Batty For You Card by Lindsey
Hi Lindsey here today sharing a Halloween card using Halloween Cuties and Fishtail Banners. The Fishtail Banners are fun to create with because you can make all kinds of shapes as well as add dot and stitched details to your card as well. Let's get started!
I started with an orange A2 sized piece of orange cardstock for my card base. I used the dot part of the Fishtail Banner to add some dot detail to my background. Next I used the scallop banner to cut a diamond out of gray cardstock. This is what I did my stamping on. I stamped spider webs on each diamond corner. Then I stamped the sentiment, bats, and stars in the center. I colored all of my images with Copic markers. I added a black scalloped diamond behind the stamped panel to help it stand out.
In order to bring the color scheme together, I created a scalloped black diamond with a scalloped purple diamond in the middle. I then cut the diamond in half and added half of it to the top of the card and half of it to the bottom. To finish the card, I added a few black pearls on the orange panel. That's it!
I hope you enjoyed my card and will continue to check back to the blog for more inspiration. I hope you'll give the Fishtail Banners a try. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Fishtail Banner II: Have a Sweet Day! with Anni
Hey stampers, Anni here! For this week's card I used one of my all time favorite sets Sweet Shoppe and combined it with the great Fishtail Banners II dies. These are so versatile and useful.
I chose one of the great sketches you can find here.
Sketches are so much fun to use. They are always a fantastic starting point for your project and you can build your idea around them. I started by stamping all the sweet treats, colored them with Copics and fussy cut them (there are coordinating dies available, too). I used totally untypical colors for me. Most of the time there is some turquoise on my cards but I tried to step out of my comfort zone.
I searched for some matching patterned paper in my stash and found this really old one. It might be six are seven years old bit I don't think you would recognize if I haven't told you.
I die cut that patterned paper and some off-white colored cardstock with the Fishtail Banner dies. The patterned paper I matted with some darker cardstock for more contrast.
I stamped the sentiment on the cardstock banner and adhered everything onto the card base. For the little something I added some Glossy Accents to the treats.
Thanks for stopping by and have a sunny week.
Anni

Fishtail Banners Colourful Chevron Sweet Card with Eloise
Hi everyone, Eloise here today to help feature the new Fishtail Banners II die set. I absolutely LOVE the first set, it's so versatile and unique and so today I'm going to combine the first set and the second new set today as well as the Sweet die and Sweet Shoppe stamp set also.
To begin my card I first started off with die cutting I took a piece of watercolour cardstock and used the Fishtail Banners I set to die cut the arrow shapes. There are little grooves on the dies so it's easy to line them up perfectly centred on your card - which is one reason I LOVE these dies. I also used the lines on my grid mat to get the arrow shapes the right height. Once they were all die cut I used 5 different colours of distress ink to ink blend onto the arrow pieces. Once that was done I did my favourite water splotch look on top and dried it with my heat tool. I then took the Fishtail Banners II set and used the little piercing die that comes in it and lined it up on my arrow die cut pieces to give it some embossed detail.
Once that was done I took a piece of white cardstock and adhered down my arrow pieces onto it, leaving the same amount of space between each one. I then took the Sweet die and cut it out of black fun foam and some black cardstock and adhered them together. I then adhered it to my card also. I wanted an extra sentiment on top so I took the 'for someone' sentiment from the Sweet Shoppe stamp set and used my MISTI tool to stamp it onto the pink arrow piece - I could have used an acrylic block but since it was stamping on an un even surface, I wanted something I can double stamp with. To finish up my card I adhered the piece on some fun foam and them onto a kraft card base.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you got inspired and you'll check out the Fishtail Banners dies - they are truly amazing and unique!

Woodsy Creatures Love You Card by Lexa
Hello there crafty friends! Lexa here with a happy fall card, featuring my favorite stamp set from the new release, Woodsy Creatures. I looove critters, so you can guess why this one won my heart. Fall is around the corner, even if there's no fall where I live. But I do really love fall colors--They're so pretty! Maybe I should visit a four seasons country the next time I travel in the fall. :)
I started by making my own patterned paper. Using a piece of green cardstock, I stamped some of the smaller images from Harvest Happiness and Woodsy Creatures with a tone-on-tone technique. Then on a smaller panel I blended some Distress Inks as the background for my images to sit. I use Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers for the sky and Mowed Lawn for the grass.
All the images are stamped with black Versafine ink that works perfectly for watercolors. Creating a scene is one of my most favorite processes in cardmaking. It's so much fun! I also added a flower wreath on the girls' head and I think it's super cute. After I finished my scene, I layer it with a piece of burlap to add texture plus it matches all the brown and natural colors on my card.
Here's the close up look, I hope you like this card as much I do. Thank you so much for reading until the end. Wishing you a great day!

Woodsy Creatures Girly Chipmunk Card with Vanessa
Hi everybody! Vanessa here with a card using the amazing new Sunny Studio release! I so love all the sets and enjoyed playing very much. For today's card I used the adorable set Woodsy Creatures stamps & coordinating dies.
I inked a white card base with green ink and added various green ink splatters. Then I trimmed two pieces from Kraft cardstock and adhered the larger one to the card with foam tape. Now I stamped and heat-embossed the "hello" from Sweet Shoppe set onto the smaller piece and adhered it with foam tape, too. I stamped, colored and die-cut the squirrel from Woodsy Creatures and adhered it. Then I finished the card off with sequins.
Don't you love that cute face? This set is another new favorite of mine :) Hope to see you back again next Thursday! Thanks for stopping by!

Woodsy Creatures Thanksgiving Card with Lindsey
Hi, Lindsey here today sharing a card using the so cute Woodsy Creatures. This is my third card using this set, and it is just too fun! This time I went with a Thanksgiving theme. Let's see how this card came together.
I began by cutting an A2 sized card base from some patterned paper. Next I cut a scalloped oval from some teal polka dot paper. Then, I cut a white oval to do my stamping on. I decided to use the little squirrel and fox from the Woodsy Creatures set, and I wanted them to be dressed up for Thanksgiving. I stamped a feather headdress for the squirrel and the pilgrim hat for the fox. I then masked off the hats and stamped the critters' heads and bodies. I then stamped my sentiment and scattered some falling leaves to complete my scene. I colored all my images with Copic markers. To finish up the card, I rounded the corners of the card base and added some Wink of Stella to the leaves and hats.
That's it for me today. I hope you enjoyed my card and will continue to check back to the blog for more inspiration. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
