Squirrel Friends Cards with Marie and Alma

Hello Crafty Friends! Marie here. Happy to be back on the blog for more card making inspiration! Today I am sharing a friendship card starring my favorite little happy squirrels from the Squirrel Friends stamp set. I also created some gorgeous leaves using the Autumn Greenery dies  - both products are from Sunny Studio Stamps recent Fall/Winter 2022 Release.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Squirrel Friends Card by Marie Marco (featuring Autumn Greenery, Fancy Frame Dies, Loopy Letter Dies)

I started off with adhering a pink A2 sized smooth cardstock paper onto an A2 sized sturdy 110lb Neenah Solar white cardstock. Using Sunny Studio's Woodgrain embossing folder, I created a beautiful wood grain background. I then cut a heart shape out of  Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I used Distress Ink Oxide in the color Saltwater Taffy for the inside of my heart. I then die cut leaves from the Autumn Greenery dies and the smaller leaves are from the Out on A Limb dies. I inked my leaves using Distress Ink in Cracked Pistachio.

I stamped my adorable Squirrel images using Distress Ink in the Color Antique Linen, and watercolored them using Derwent Inktense Pencils. I felt like my card needed a frame so I die cut a white Scallop frame using the Fancy Frame Rectangle dies

I love the stitched detailing on the scallop frame so much that I decided to take the smaller of the 2 frames included in the Fancy Frame Rectangles and used it on the inside of my card to frame my sentiment. For the word "Nutty" I used the Loopy Letters dies

After putting together my inside sentiment, I scored the top of the inside panel and attached it to my card front panel. I glued all my images and die cuts using a combination of Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue and double sided foam tape.

That does it for this week's card inspiration, simple and sweet just the way I like it! And I hope you like it too! Thank you so much for joining me today! Until next time, Happy PaperCrafting!!!

Hi dear ones, Alma here. Autumn is slowly arriving and I love it when the leaves rustle and fall. Today I want to show you a card with the cute Squirrel Friends Stamps.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Squirrel Friends Card by Alma Störk (featuring Autumn Greenery, Stitched Arch Dies, Slimline Dies)

I coloured them and cut them out with the Squirrel Friends Dies. I love the tree stump. Isn't that a perfect storage for the acorns? Then I cut a rectangular card and coloured it with Distress Oxide Inks Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron and sprinkled with water. Then I cut out a second beige cardstock and punched out a window with the Stitched Arch Dies.

After that I stamped the text. Then I glued everything together and added the grass from the Slimline Nature Border Dies. Finally, I punched out the leaves from the Autumn Greenery Dies set and coloured them with Copics. Finished!!!!

Hi folks, Kavya here. I have a fun Christmas themed card for you all today using a bunch of products from the latest release and some from the past!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Squirrel Friends Card by Kavya (featuring Santa Clause Lane, Cozy Christmas)

I first started off by stamping and coloring a bunch of images from Squirrel FriendsCozy Christmas and Santa Claus Lane. Then, I created a simple background from Tumbled Glass and Speckled Distress oxide inks and green strip of cardstock.

Wasn’t that simple? Love how this one turned out! Hope you find this inspiring :) Happy Crafting!

Hello everyone! Isha here with a fall theme card featuring the Squirrel Friends stamps and dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Squirrel Friends Card by Isha Gupta (featuring Fall Friends, Slimline Dies, Home Sweet Gnome)

To start, I used the new Critter Country pattern paper. This paper in particular is perfect to create a quick scene. I cut it and used the part I wanted. I then die-cut the grass border using the Slimline Nature Borders die. Sponge peeled paint, mowed lawn and shabby shutters distress inks to it. Adhere to the panel. Die-cut this panel using the Stitched Rectangle dies.

Stamp the images, color using copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies.

Fall Scenes Cards with Marie and Alma

Hello Everyone, Marie here! We are only one day away from the first day of Fall 2022 so I decided to create a Happy Fall card featuring the Fall Scenes stamp set and the Squirrel Friends stamps from Sunny's latest release! If you are anything like me and sometimes struggle with what to do with your background when creating a card, it is so nice to have scene stamps on hand! I absolutely adore these Fall scenes stamps that make it so easy to build up a scene.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Fall Scenes Card by Marie Marco (featuring Squirrel Friends, Loopy Letter Dies)

I started off by die cutting an A2 sized panel from water color paper and another one from Bristol Smooth cardstock paper. I also cut out a white scalloped panel as my card base from 110 lb. sturdy Neenah Solar White cardstock paper.

I stamped my fall scene with Distress Ink in the color "Antique Linen"  onto the watercolor paper. I proceed to color my scene using the Derwent inktense Pencils. I also stamped out some images from the Squirrel Friends Stamps onto watercolor paper, and colored those as well.

After coloring my fall scene and images, I die cut them using the Fall Scene dies and the Squirrel Friends dies. To Create my "Happy Fall" sentiment, I used the Loopy Letters dies. I am so in love with the Loopy Letters Die! I have never seen cursive letters dies before and these are so perfect for creating your own sentiments with a fun and elegant touch!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Fall Scenes Card by Marie Marco (featuring Squirrel Friends, Loopy Letter Dies)

To create my background panel, I took the A2 sized Bristol Smooth Cardstock and stenciled in some fall clouds using Distress Ink in the color "Speckled Egg". I then attached my die cut fall scene to my inked panel, and attached it to my white scalloped base panel.

To finish everything off, I attached all my images using Bearly Art Precision Glue, Double Sided Score Tape, and double sided Foam Tape.

Thank You for Joining me today!!! Until next time, Happy Crafting and Happy Fall 'Yall!

Hello everyone. Alma here with you. I am known for colourful and detailed cards. Nevertheless,
I sometimes like it a bit simpler and I really liked the new Halloween stamp from the
Fall Scenes Stamps set.
Sunny Studio Stamps: Fall Scenes Card by Alma Störk (featuring Mini Mat & Tag Dies)
First I stamped the image on the tag from Mini Mat & Tag 3 Dies and coloured it with Copic
markers.

Then I punched the rectangular card from the above mentioned die set, stamped the cobwebs
from the Too Cute to Spook stamps set and glued everything together onto black cardstock.
Finally, I added a nylon yarn into the tag and the Halloween greeting is ready.

Squirrel Friends Cards with Cathy and Bobbi

Hey friends! Cathy here today with a Squirrel Friends focused card featuring one of my favorite sweet little squirrels from this stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Squirrel Friends Autumn Card by Cathy Chapdelaine (featuring Bursting Heart Dies, Stitched Arch Dies, Mini Mat & Tag Dies, Autumn Greenery)

Since I wanted this adorable little friend to take center stage, I went with a more abstract design on this card. First, I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using the Bursting Hearts Die and adhered it to a peach A2 card base. I then die-cut a piece of dark brown cardstock using one of the Stitched Arch Dies and adhered it to the center of the card front about 1/2" from the top edge. I cut a brown paper from the Critter Country Paper  2” x 4 1/4" and adhered it to the bottom of the card front.

Next, I die-cut a tag from light gray cardstock using the Mini Mat & Tag 2 Dies and adhered it to the Stitched Arch die-cut. I love how this tag fits perfectly inside the arch for a matted look. (I did not apply adhesive along the scalloped edge in order to tuck the leaves underneath) I die-cut the leaves from dark brown cardstock and a copper metallic cardstock using the Autumn Greenery Dies and adhered them on the paper tucking them slightly under the scalloped edge of the tag.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Squirrel Friends Autumn Card by Cathy Chapdelaine (featuring Bursting Heart Dies, Stitched Arch Dies, Mini Mat & Tag Dies, Autumn Greenery)

I stamped the squirrel on Neenah Classic Crest 80lb solar white cardstock, masked the image and stamped the tree stump. I also stamped 4 individual acorns. After coloring the images with Copics, I fussy cut out all of them. Rather than stamping and masking the acorns inside the tree stump, I found it easier to cut a small slit along the bottom of the hole in the stump using a craft knife and then tucked the acorns inside. I adhered the images to the gray tag making sure to cover the small hole at the top of the tag that the die cuts by placing the image so that the squirrel’s tail covered it up. To finish, I die-cut a piece of dark brown cardstock using a banner die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies, heat embossed the sentiment and adhered it along the bottom of the tag above the scalloped edge.

I hope you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by today! For more inspiration, please visit my blog www.inkredibleadventures.com and you can also find me on Instagram as @cathy.chapdelaine.

Hello Sunny friends! It’s Bobbi here with a sweet fall card featuring the new Squirrel Friends stamp set and coordinating dies. This set is for all you fun and nutty crafters that love these big-tail cuties! I made this 5″ X 7″ card quickly by using one of the scene papers from the Critter Country 6″ X 6″ paper pad.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Squirrel Friends Autumn Card by Bobbi Lemanski

To make this card, I cut the pretty scene paper down to 5″ wide X 6″ tall and attached it to an A7 card base made from white cardstock. To cover the bottom of the front panel, I added a 1″ strip of multi-color striped, coordinating paper from the same pack. I stamped and heat embossed in white, the “nut-thing” phrase from the stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Squirrel Friends Autumn Card by Bobbi Lemanski

I stamped, die-cut and colored the tree trunk, two squirrels, four acorns, and some leaves and added them to the scene setting. I made the squirrels into red squirrels using Copic Markers in YR27, Yr24, YR21, E57, E55 and E44. For the trunk, I stamped and cut out two (one trunk with a hole) and attached them together with foam tabs, leaving room to tuck in the sweet squirrel with the acorn in hand. I added the second squirrel to the tall tree with another acorn. A few black specks in the air and some nuts and leaves around the tree trunk finish this card.

Autumn Greenery Die Focused Cards with Alma and Marie

Hello this is Alma and today I want to share with you an autumn inspiration that even glows in the dark. So at the recipient a really autumnal coziness comes up.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Autumn Greenery Die Focused Card by Alma Störk (featuring Sparkle Word Die, Woodgrain Embossing Folder)

First, I embossed watercolour paper with the Woodgrain Embossing folder. Then I wiped the paper with Distress Oxide Inks in Walnut Stain, Ground Espresso, Frayed Burlap and Black Soot and sprinkled with water.

Afterwards I attached the narrow battery of a string of lights inside the card and pulled the cable through a hole to the front.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Autumn Greenery Die Focused Card by Alma Störk (featuring Sparkle Word Die, Woodgrain Embossing Folder)

I draped the fairy lights in a wreath and glued them in place. Then I punched out lots of leaves with the Autumn Greenery Dies and colored them with Copics. After that I punched out leaves from vellum and worked them all into the garland of lights, creating a 3D effect. Finally, I punched out four papers with the Sparkle Word Die in black, glued them together to make them stable and sticked them into the wreath. Finally, I glued nylon thread into the wreath as decoration. Now the wreath can start glittering!

Have a great autumn!

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Marie back again for another card inspiration! Today I am featuring the Autumn Greenery Die to create a Fall Blessings card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Autumn Greenery Die Focused Card by Marie Marco (featuring Autumn Greetings, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Squirrel Friends)

Fall is my favorite time of the year! I love when things start to finally cool down, when pumpkin spice fills my coffee mug, and when I can finally start to anticipate the holidays, but one of the most recognizable signs I love and look forward to is when leaves transition into beautiful colors. What a pleasure it was to be able to create my own fall leaves using these amazing Autumn Greenery Die.

I start off by die cutting my leaves from Bristol Smooth white cardstock. I always use bristol smooth cardstock when I ink blend because the smoothness of the paper really helps distress inks blend together like butter. In no particular order here are all the distress inks I used to ink blend my leaves : Festive Berries, Fired Brick, Wild Honey, Scattered Straw, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness, Vintage Photo, and Walnut stain. After ink blending I splattered the leaves with water droplets, and vintage photo distress ink. I also gave my leaves some gold splatters using Altenew Metallic Watercolors.

I then die cut an A2 sized piece of bristol smooth cardstock and embossed it using the Sunny Studio Woodgrain 6x6 Embossing Folder. I love this embossing folder! Taking my woodgrain embossed A2 panel, I ink blended the edges using Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Autumn Greenery Die Focused Card by Marie Marco (featuring Autumn Greetings, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Squirrel Friends)

To add a super cute touch to my card, I also used the Squirrel Friends Stamps from the latest Fall/WInter Release. I stamped a few images onto watercolor paper and used Derwent Inktense Pencils to color. I cut them out using the corresponding dies

I cut out a sturdy Base panel from Neenah solar white 110 lb cardstock using a scalloped edged die. I took my woodgrain panel and attached it to my white base and a white frame in the center for my leaves. I cute out a rectangle for my sentiment using the Autumn Greetings stamp set. I love how this sentiment and its elegant font.

I positioned and attached all my elements using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue, ScorTape, and Foam tape to give some leaves and my squirrels some dimension. And that does it for today's card inspiration! I hope that I've inspired you to create some leaf themed cards not just for fall, but for all year round! These Autumn greenery dies are a year round staple! Until next time, Happy Crafting!!!
