Puppy Love Cards with Cathy and Bobbi

Hey friends! Cathy here today sharing a card featuring the adorable new Puppy Love Stamps that will be available in the upcoming new release!

I started this card by cutting 2 strips of patterned paper from the Subtle Grey Tones Paper and adhering a strip to the top and bottom of an A2 card base. The top strip is 1/2" x 5 1/2" and the bottom strip is 1” x 5 1/2". (This saves on paper since I have a wide cardstock piece on the card front)

Next, I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies and cut the piece to 5 1/2” long. I inked it with Spun Sugar and Saltwater Taffy Distress inks and splattered a little watered down white acrylic paint with a paintbrush. I matted this piece on gray cardstock and adhered it to the card front approximately 3/8” from the top edge of the card and slightly overlapping the paper pieces.

I die-cut white glitter cardstock using a Heartstrings Border Die and adhered it to the bottom of the inked cardstock piece. I stamped a sentiment from the Lovey Dovey Stamps in gray ink, die-cut it using the coordinating dies and adhered it to the center of the inked cardstock.

I stamped the images from the Puppy Love Stamps on Neenah Classic Crest 80lb solar white cardstock, colored them with Copics and die-cut them using the coordinating dies. To finish, I die-cut hearts using the Stitched Heart 2 Dies from white cardstock, inked them with Tattered Rose Distress ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder for a little shine.

Hello Sunny friends, Bobbi here! I hope you’re having a “pawsome” day because today I’m sharing the new Sunny Studio Stamps  set called, Puppy Love stamp set and coordinating dies. This little mighty set offers puppy cuteness and sweet hearts. I used this set to make a 5″ X 7″ card and coordinating smaller, note card.

To create the card, I used one of my favorite Sunny dies called, Bursting Hearts die. I cut it out of black cardstock and since my card is an A7 size, I ran it horizontally across the top of the card. I little strip of gold cardstock finishes the bottom edge.

I stamped the two dogs from the Puppy Love set and colored them in black and gray. I colored the heart in pink, I attached the pup in the middle with some foam tabs to make him stand out and stamped the phrase from the same set in the white space below.

I cut out some hearts from pink cardstock and added them back into the Bursting hearts design to create a focal point on the puppy in the middle. I let the last hearts fall off the edge of the front panel for interest.

For the coordinating smaller note card, I used a white card base and attached a mini mat from the Mini Mat 2 and Tag dies to the front. I added faux black stitching around the edge, the other puppy in the middle and some shadowing below him. I used Luxe Glitter cardstock to fill the heart and stamped smaller hearts colored in pink around the puppy.

Summer Greenery Cards with Kavya and Isha

Hi folks, Kavya here. I am back on the blog with another fun card that combines a bunch of older releases with something new. This is also a fun way to stretch your existing supplies :)

I first started off by creating my base by using a linen colored cardstock and splattering some white paint. Then, I created my square frame by using a Fancy Frames Square die cut and added an ink blended blue background. I also added a fun foliage around the frame using some ink blended Summer Greenery. 

Later, I stamped and colored a bunch of images from Silly Sloths Stamps, Savanna Safari, Make A Wish Stamps and Party Pups Stamps (for the caps). I added a heat embossed sentiment and I was done!

Hello everyone! Isha here and today I am featuring the new Summer Greenery dies. I am a huge fan of monstera plants, so I had to use those dies. I really like the details on these dies.

I started by die-cutting a white panel using the Stitched Rectangle dies. Sponge some tumbled glass distress oxide inks. Flick black and gold watercolor and let dry. Die-cut a circle using the Stitched Circle small dies. Sponge a bit of ink towards the circle.

Next take Tim Holtz alcohol ink white cardstock. Use some alcohol inks in greens and teals along with alcohol blending solution. Let this dry and then apply some WOW! gold fab foil. The foil will stick to the sticky part of the ink.

Die-cut some leaves using the Summer Greenery dies. Adhere the rectangle panel to the card base. Adhere the circle to it using foam tape and then create the wreath around the circle using the leaves.

Stamp the sentiment using the Lovey Dovey stamp, die-cut using the coordinating dies. Adhere to the card.

Designers Choice Card with Mayra

Hello and happy Monday everyone, Mayra here. I can't believe this is my last card as a DT member of this wonderful company. It has been such a joy and blessing to be part of this team. Today, I created a card to share with you using the lovely Spring Greenery die set. 

I began by die-cutting the base panel using the Stitched Rectangle die set, the scalloped layer using the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace die set, and the greenery from the Spring Greenery die set. I then added color to the die-cuts using Shabby Shutter, Peeled Paint, and Forest Moss Distress Oxide inks. 

I then heat embossed the sentiment from the Lovey Dovey stamp set onto vellum and then used the coordinating die to die-cut the sentiment. I hope you enjoy the card I created to share with you today. Cherry Blossoms Cards with Audrey and Vanessa

Hello friends! Audrey here! Today, I have a card to share with you using the Cherry Blossoms stamp set. 

To create this card, I started off with a piece of watercolor paper cut to 4" x 5.25". I used Worn Lipstick Distress ink to watercolor a drippy background on the panel, concentrating most of the color at the top, then I tipped the panel on end and allowed the color to run down the panel a bit. When I was happy with the placement, I hit it with my heat tool to dry the watercolor and leave hard edges. Then, I added a splattering of black watercolor. I stamped several of the Cherry Blossoms in shades of pink and coral and die cut them with the coordinating Cherry Blossoms dies. I arranged them at the top of the panel and glued some down with a glue pen and popped others up with foam tape. 

I stamped a sentiment from the Lovey Dovey stamp set in black ink and diecut it with the coordinating Lovey Dovey dies. I popped the sentiment up with foam tape, then popped the panel up on an A2 card base. I added a strip of black and white washi tape to the left edge of the card base, and added Onyx Black Crystals to the front most flower centers. Finally, I added some white gel pen accents to each of the blooms.

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a spring card using the beautiful Cherry Blossoms set.

I stamped the images onto white cardstock and die-cut the pieces with the matching dies. Now I arranged a part of the elements onto the front of my white card base and covered this with a panel of light blue vellum. Then I adhered the remaining die-cuts, using foam-tape for more dimension. I added a pink bow to the branch and finished the card off with the "thank you" die-cut from white cardstock.

Spring Greenery Cards with Marine and Anja

Hello crafty friends, Marine here! Today's card is all about customization. I created my own leafy background using Spring Greenery, I used the branch from Outback Critters to make bamboo, and turned bears from Bear Hugs into pandas.

So as always I started off by stamping all my images using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I cut them all using the coordinating dies, and I first worked on the bears from Bear Hugs. To turn them into pandas, I referred to a picture on my phone, and traced some lines using a pencil to divide their bodies into different sections and this way know which part is black: the eyes, ears, arms and legs. And to do this I'm just referring to a picture on my phone. I used my black memento pen, which is an alcohol marker friendly pen, to trace over the pencil lines and then I colored the images to create a baby panda and his mom.

And next I colored the other images: the branches from Outback Critters in green to create bamboo, the mountains from Spring Scenes, the grass, butterflies and small flowers from Bunnyville.

Next I created my leafy background. I cut a 5,5 x 4,25" bristol panel, and started by covering it with mowed lawn oxide ink. Next I applied some rustic wilderness oxide ink on the four edges, and then used my mowed lawn blending tool again to achieve a nice blending.

I die cut the Spring Greenery leaves several times out of bristol cardstock, and colored them using rustic wilderness oxide ink again. And next I randomly glued them on my green panel using liquid glue. I added texture and details to this leafy panel: splatters of rustic wilderness oxide ink + water, splatters of black soot oxide ink + water, and splatters of copic opaque white ink + water.

To set my cute panda scene, I cut some additional pieces: two Stitched Oval 2 elements out of a grass pattern paper from the Spring Fling paper pack and out of a blue pattern paper from the Spring Sunburst paper pack, and one Scalloped Oval Mat 1 element out of a yellow cardstock. I layered those pieces on top of each other to create a cute scenery, and then I popped the whole on my leafy background using foam squares.

I stuck all the images, and for my sentiment I cut a pink banner using a die from the Stitched Rectangle die set, I white heat embossed my customized sentiment "For my beary sweet mom" on it, and attached it right below the cute pandas. I attached my panel to a green card base, and as always I finished my card by adding highlights and details to the images and sky using a white gel pen.

And that's it, I love this cute baby panda and his mom, they are so cute! I hope that this card will inspire you to stretch out your supplies and use them in different ways. Hello everyone, Anja here and today's Clean and Simple card features the versatile Spring Greenery Dies. I chose the veined leaves and die cut them from cardstock in rainbow colors.

I let the leaves float across the left side of the white A2 card base and added one of the scripty Lovey Dovey sentiments to the right. It was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Platinum embossing powder.

After cutting it out with the coordinating die, I adhered it with small slivers of foam tape. Finally, I embellished the card with matching glitter enamel dots.
