Sunny Saturday Share: Customer Thanksgiving & Holiday Cards

How are you?  Are you getting ready for the holidays? Despite my best efforts I've managed to come down with a nasty cold/flu this weekend that both my daughters have been suffering from for awhile now.  I thought I was nearly in the clear after a week of not getting it, but sadly I'm just not that lucky after all.  ;)

I couldn't let today pass though without swinging by to share all the AMAZING cards that YOU, our wonderful customers have been creating.  I am constantly feeling blown away!

Bundled Up Penguin Card with Lindsey

Hi, Lindsey here today sharing a Christmas card featuring the adorable Bundled Up stamp set. I just love that cute little chubby penguin and of course all of his fun accessories! There is so much that you can do with this set. It is perfect for winter birthday cards or holiday cards. Let's get started on how I created my card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Bundled Up Penguin Cool Christmas Card by Lindsey Sams.

To begin this card, I cut a piece of snowflake patterned paper to an A2 size card base. I knew I wanted the Penguins to be standing in the snow, so I created two snowy hills using a hillside border die. One hill is smaller than the other to create some dimension. Next, I stamped out all of my images from Bundled up onto some white card stock and colored them with Copic markers. I used some fun non-traditional colors for my penguins, and I just think they look so cute. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and then the fun began. I got to "dress" the sweet little guys in their winter gear.

I stamped my sentiment on the front of the first snow bank using some purple dye ink that complimented the snowflake paper I used. Then it was time to put my card together. I used regular adhesive for the back snow hill and popped up the front snow hill and penguins using foam adhesive. This made the Penguins really pop up from the scene. I finished off my card by adding a couple of iridescent snowflakes next to my sentiment.

That's it for me today. Thanks so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed my card. I hope you'll try this fun set. All the mixing and matching options make this set so much fun to create with. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with. Have a great day!

Bundled Up Cool Christmas Penguin Card with Vanessa

Hello! Vanessa here with a cute card using Bundled Up. This adorable penguin is so fun to play with! I didn't use any dies and did no fussy-cutting for this one.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Bundled Up Penguin Cool Christmas Card by Vanessa Menhorn.

Oh, ok, I had to fussy-cut masks! First, I stamped the hat and the scarf onto a panel of white cardstock. Then I masked them and stamped the penguin. I masked him, too and applied soft blue ink with an ink blending tool. Now I stamped the snowflakes with the same ink onto the inked area. After I had removed the masks, I colored the image with Copics and stamped the sentiment. I adhered a strip of plaid patterned paper to the right corner of the card and adhered the panel.

This little guy makes me smile! I hope you like him, too! Thanks for stopping by today!

Mug Hugs Warm Birthday Wishes Card With Lindsey

Hi!  Lindsey here today sharing a card featuring the fun new set Mug Hugs. I love coffee and hot chocolate, so the images in this set were right down my ally. I decided to pair this set with a sentiment from an older set, Bundled Up. I think they worked well together and made a super cute winter birthday card. Let's get started on how I created this card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Mug Hugs Warm Birthday Wishes Hot Cocoa & Coffee Card by Lindsey Sams.

I began by cutting an A2 sized stitched rectangle out of some patterned paper that just worked perfectly with the Mug Hugs set. Next, I cut a smaller rectangle from some teal cardstock and added some stitching detail to the top and bottom of the rectangle. I stamped my sentiment from Bundled Up onto the teal rectangle using black ink.

Then I stamped the Mug Hugs images onto some white cardstock and colored them using Copic markers. I used a white gel pen to add some accents and covered the mugs with Wink of Stella to make them shine. I attached the mugs to the teal rectangle using some foam tape. To finish the card off, I added a few adhesive pearls.

I hope you enjoyed my card and will check out this cute set for yourself. I know you'll have lots of ideas for this set, and I can't wait to see what you come up with. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Bundled Up Penguins Parade Card by Lexa

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with my adorable penguins parade using the Bundled Up stamp set. This set is a must have in my list, you know why? Just because it's so much fun to play dress up with these penguins. I'm so in love with this set. <3

Sunny Studio Stamps: Bundled Up Penguin Holiday Card by Lexa Levana (with a sentiment from Gleeful Reindeer)

I started my card with a piece of 4" x 5.25" smooth white cardstock and clear embossed LOTS of snowflakes in various sizes to create my background. Then I blend Milled Lavender and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks which turns out so pretty..love love! I also added some glitter along the bottom as snow for the penguins to stand upon, using both silver and snowflakes Stickles. I stamped my three penguins and all the accessories on a piece of watercolor paper and colored them with Distress Markers. I fussy cut all of the pieces, it took a while but at then the most fun part began....mix and match all them together. Yay!

I made all of them standing there while holding a banner with a cute sentiment from the new release, Gleeful Reindeer stamp set. I'm truly happy with the fonts, you can call me crazy, but I always have 'this feeling' with fonts. If you know what I'm saying. Lol. Last but not least, I add some googly eyes for them- for extra cuteness.

Here's a close up look of my card, aren't they the cutest?? That's all for today, I really hope you like my card as much as I do. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have an amazing Friday!
