Wonky Window Die Focused Cards with Gladys and Alma

Hello friends! Gladys here with a mini slimline using the Wonky Windows and Little Birdie stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Wonky Window Die Focused Card by Gladys Marcelino (featuring Little Birdie)

To start I used a mini slimline die to cut from Bristol smooth cardstock. I ink blended the background with a cloud stencil and salty ocean distress ink. Then I used the Wonky Windows die to cut the center of the panel. I also used the window die to cut from scraps of Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended worn lipstick and scattered straw on the negative pieces.

Next I stamped and colored the images from Little Birdie using Copic markers. I cut them out using their coordinating dies.

To assemble the card I used the mini slimline die to cut from white cardstock. I inlaid the pieces from the Wonky Windows with liquid glue. I used foam tape on the back of the cloud panel for dimension before mounting it onto the white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in the center window then adhered the images down. Finally I attached the panel onto a card base. That is all for me today until next time. Have a wonderful day!

Hi, today it's me, Alma. I'm back on the blog and today I want to show you a shaker card that you can easily design using the Wonky Windows Dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Wonky Window Die Focused Card by Alma Störk (featuring Froggy Friends, Rain or Shine)

First of all, I cut two rectangles of cardstock and punched one of them out with the Wonky Windows. Then I wiped the two cardstocks in the Distress Oxide colours Chipped Saphire, Blueprint Sketch, Broken China and Tumbled Glass and sprinkled them with water. I set white highlights with the gel pen so that the water structure gets even more depth.

Then I mixed the Jewels Sky Blue JewelsMagic Blue Jewels and Cornflower Blue Jewels and glued the two cardstock pieces together with the shaker elements and 3D tape.

After this I stamped the frogs and accessories from the
Froggy Friends stamp set, coloured them with Copics, and die-cut them with the coordinating dies. The water puddles, the ducks and the umbrella are from the Rain or Shine stamp set, which I also stamped out with the matching coordinating dies.

Now everything is glued together and the shaking can begin.

Wedded Bliss & Wonky Windows Cards with Catherine and Bobbi

Hello Friends! Catherine here, sharing a see through card featuring the adorable Wedded Bliss Stamps!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Wedded Bliss Card by Catherine Cohen (featuring Ocean View, Inside Greetings Congrats, Fluffy Cloud Border Dies)

Starting from 2” from the bottom,  I ink blended a piece of white card stock 4.25” x 5.5” with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink using a cloud stencil made with Fluffy Cloud Border. Next, using black ink, I stamped the sentiment from Inside Greetings Congrats Stamps onto the bottom white area of the card.

I stamped the ocean and sand border from Ocean View and die cut with the coordinating die, Ocean View Dies. I use the same coordinating die to die cut a backing for the back of the border using white cardstock. I then colored the ocean and sand border scene with Copic Markers. I added the adorable penguins from Wedded Bliss and a beach chair from Kiddie Pool Stamps.

For the acetate card, I trimmed a piece of clear acetate to 4.25”x 11”. I scored the acetate at 5.5” and used a bone folder tool to fold the card in half.

I adhered the cloudy background onto the inside of if the acetate card and the ocean and sand border onto the outside of the card. I adhered the white backing onto the back of the ocean and sand border to cover the glue marks.

I used StāzOn Jet Black ink to stamp the sentiment onto the front of the acetate card and finished off the card with hearts from Basic Mini Shape Dies.

Hello friends, Bobbi here! It’s time for a little “wonky” fun using the newly released, Wonky Windows die set. I paired this cute die set of imperfect windows and banners with some yummy drinks to make this card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Wonky Windows Card by Bobbi Lemanski (featuring Tropical Paradise)

I’m using the following products:
Wonky Windows die set

Tropical Paradise stamps and coordinating die sets

Cruisin’ Cuisine stamp set (for the “happy” and “day” words on the banners)

Subtle Gray Tones 6″ X 6″ paper pad

This 5″ X 7″ card begins with a fun watercolor background measuring 5″ X 7″. I brushed on fun colors and let them do their thing. I used Canson XL watercolor paper and Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor paints. The colors blend so nicely! Next, I cut out the wonky windows down the right hand side. I added a printed polka dot paper to the windows. The paper is from the Subtle Gray Tones 6″ X 6″ paper pad

I stamped, colored, and die cut the pineapple and two drinks from the Tropical Paradise stamps and coordinating die sets. I also cut six banners from the Wonky Windows die set.  All of them were cut from Neenah 80lb cardstock. I love the stitching around the windows and banners!

I colored the images in using the following Copic Marker colors:
Pineapple: Y19, Y08, YG67, YG03, YG00, YR24, with white gel pen highlights
Coconut drink: B05, B04, B02, YR07, YR6, Y19, Y08, G05, Goo, YG03, YG00, E57, E55, E43, with white gel pen highlights
Daiquiri drink, lime slices and water droplets: G05, G00, Y08, YR07, YR68, YR65, YR61, B05, B02, B00, with white gel pen highlights

I used all the same colors from the images to color the banners, too. I used a fine-tip black marker for the banner string (hand drew it in) and my white gel pen for the white polka dots. I stamped “HAPPY” and “DAY” on the banners. Everything was glued in place and the entire front panel was attached to an A7 white card base made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock using double sided tape. I have the best results attaching watercolor paper to card bases using very sticky double-sided tape. Lastly, I stamped “Cheers” in black to the lower right corner to complete this card.

Designer's Choice Cards with Marine and Marieke

Hello crafty friends, Marine here with you today. I'm super happy to be back on the blog with this new Christmas in July card! Today I'm featuring the Wonky Windows die, I love this die, it's just so perfect to make shaker cards!

Sunny Studio Stamps Mini Slimline Bird Christmas in July Card by Marine (using Little Birdies, Scenic Route, Outback Cirtters, Christmas Critters, Holiday Express, Penguin Pals & Wonky Windows Dies)

I first started by cutting a 6 x 3" bristol panel, and created a vibrant red background using tattered rose, festive berries and aged mahogany distress inks. And I added lots of texture to give this panel more interest: water splatters, white ink splatters and aged mahogany distress ink + water splatters.

And while the panel was drying, I stamped, die cut and colored my images. I like to mix and match stamps from different sets, and this is what I did on this card:

Little Birdie: the birdhouse and two birds
Scenic Route: the strings of lights
Outback Critters: the branch
Christmas Critters: the Christmas hat
Holiday Express: a present
Penguin Pals: the postcard and candy canes

Next I worked on the shaker. I started by cutting three windows out of my red panel using the Wonky Windows die. I cut a 6 x 3" red card base, temporarily taped the red panel to it using washi tape, and put each window back to its original spot using liquid glue.

I removed the washi tape to lift the red panel, and then attached a piece of clear acetate at the back of it. Still at the back of the red panel, I added foam strips all around each window to create room for the shaker accessories.

I rubbed the inside edges of the foam strips with my powder tool to make those edges non sticky so the confetti don't stick to the foam. I used a microfiber cloth to remove any excess of powder from the acetate, and then I added a bunch of shiny confetti inside each window. Peeled all the backing papers off the foam strips, and finally attached the card base to the foam to complete and close the shaker.

I stuck the images on the panel using foam squares and liquid glue. And next I created my "Season's Tweetings" sentiment using elements from Little Birdie. I stamped "Season's" in the upper part of the panel using black ink, and I white heat embossed "Tweetings" on vellum, along with the banner, and I attached this banner below the birdhouse using clear foam squares.

Finally I added highlights and details to the images and background using a white gel pen. And that's it, super bright and very cute with those birdies wearing Christmas hats. Thanks for stopping by, and as always feel welcome to watch the process video for more details (click on the image above). See you next week!

Wonky Windows Cards with Vanessa and Audrey

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a clean & simple card using the fun Wonky Windows Dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Wonky Window Card by Vanessa Menhorn (featuring Passionate Penguins, Baby Elephants, Bunnyville)

I first die-cut the windows from white cardstock and trimmed this into a square to fit the card base. Then I inked the background behind the windows with Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide inks and adhered the panel to the card base.

Here comes a list of the sets I used:
Baby Elephants stamps + dies (elephant)
Passionate Penguins stamps + dies (penguin)
Bunnyville stamps + dies (bunny)
Oceans of Joy stamps + dies (balloon)
Looking Sharp stamps + dies (large party hat)
Party Pups stamps + dies (hats + cupcake)
Everyday Greetings stamps (sentiment)
Wonky Windows Dies
Rainbow Dot Confetti

Now I stamped my images, colored them with Copics, die-cut the pieces with the matching dies and adhered the elements to the card with foam-tape. After I had stamped the sentiment, I added clay confetti to finish the card off.

I hope you like my clean card! Have a happy weekend!

Hello friends!  Audrey here! Today, I have a card to share with you that mixes old and new. I used the Wonky Windows die from the summer release, and paired it with one of my older Sunny Studio favorites, Garden Fairy

Sunny Studio Stamps: Wonky Window Card by Audrey Tokach (featuring Garden Fairy)

To create this card, I started off by die cutting a piece of white cardstock cut to 4" x 5.25" with the Wonky Windows die, which I placed closer to the right side of the panel. I used distress ink in Shaded Lilac and Blueprint Sketch to ink blend a light to dark ombre going down the front of the panel. Then, I stamped and colored three fairies and the flowers from the Garden Fairy stamp set, and die cut them with the coordinating Garden Fairy dies. I backed the panel with a piece of polka dot paper from the Dots and Stripes Pastels 6x6 paper pad. I adhered the two together with foam tape to leave a little room to tuck in my images.

To the left of the center opening, I stamped a sentiment from Garden Fairy in black ink, and used Shaded Lilac and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink to stamp the tiny stars scattered about the card front.  Once everything was adhered to the window panel, I added the panel to a white A2 card base.
