Puddle Jumpers Card with Tammy

Hello friends! Tammy here with a fun box card, featuring the adorable set, Puddle Jumpers. 

To begin, I stamped the images from the Puddle Jumpers stamp set, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Puddle Jumpers Dies. The sun and cloud images are stamped and cut from Balloon Rides/Balloon Rides Dies.

Next, I built a basic rectangle base using yellow patterned paper from the Striped Silly 6X6 Paper I then cut the back panel from Bristol cardstock using the Stitched Rectangle Dies, and inked it using Stormy Sky and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks. I attached the inked background to a white rectangle mat, cut slightly larger, then attached to the inside of the box, to create a backdrop. I die cut three grassy borders from white Bristol cardstock using the Mini Grass Border Dies, then blended them with green inks and attachd to the inside of the box.

I attached all the images from Puddle Jumpers to the box card to create a fun little scene. The raindrops were adhered to acetate strips to give the illusion of falling rain.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from Puddle Jumpers in black ink onto a white, stitched banner, cut from the Stitched Rectangle Dies and attached it to the front of the box card to finish up!

Puddle Jumpers Card with Nicky

Hello! This is Nicky with you today and I'm sharing the details for this new card featuring the cute Puddle Jumpers stamp set.

I started by using the Stitched Rectangle Die to create a panel of light blue cardstock. I glued this to a white A2 panel and then to my card base. I die cut a white panel of cardstock using the Fancy Frames Ovals Die. I backed the frames with dimensional foam tape and adhered it to the card base.

Next, I used the Rain Showers and toning blue ink to stamp the rain drops background on the inside cut that was left after creating the frames. I then came in with a small blending brush and the same ink and ink blended around the edges to form a soft focal point. This was then recessed and glued within the frame.

I stamped the Puddle Jumpers images using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa and I coloured the images with the following Copic marker combinations:

Yellow - Y17, YR31
Orange - YR09, YR04
Skin - E04, E11, E21, E00
Blush - R22, R20, R00
White - C3, C1, C0
Green - YG41, YG11, G40

Images were die cut using the coordinating dies, arranged and adhered with foam tape and I highlighted with a white gel pen. Finally I stamped the sentiments on little strips of the pale blue cardstock and used foam tape to apply them at playful angles.

Puddle Jumpers Card with Tina

Hi crafty friends, Tina here and I am so done with those dark winter days! I had a lot of fun creating a happy Spring card with the adorable Puddle Jumpers stamp and die set! Those ducks are just the cutest! This time I went with a ‘new to me’ color combination and I really love how the yellow, purple, and green work together.

My card panel is a mini slim line that I cut from white Neenah card stock and a die that I grabbed in my stash. It was the perfect fit for the three puddles and the rest of the scene. I inked the top portion of the panel with Distress Oxide  Victorian Velvet (love that muted pink!) and a cloud stencil.

For this card, I envisioned a whole family of cute ducks on their way to mail a birthday card, together with the sweet girl from the same Puddle Jumpers stamp. The mailbox and letter are part of the Bighearted Bears set which is perfect for so many occasions!

As usual, I colored all the images with my copics in the chosen color combo. When I start a new project, I lay the cut images across the scene and decide for each of them which color from the chosen palette I am going with. Trying to spread the colors evenly and if possible, in a triangle shape.

The sentiment was selected from the Puddle Jumpers set and stamped directly to the card with Versafine Onyx Black and a purple ink from my stash. Then, I added this panel to a purple card base.

Finally, I adhered all the elements in place, starting with the puddles and the mailbox. Once they were glued down, I could arrange the girl with the umbrella and all the cute ducks! With so much going on, I decided to just add a few Crystal Clear Jewels to the sky portion.
