Everyday Birthday & Spring Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a cute birthday card using multiple stamp sets. I love to combine various Sunny Studio Stamps sets, they are so fun to play with!

For this slimline card, I inked my front lightly with yellow and blue Distress Inks and applied tiny ink droplets. After I had stamped the sentiment from Barnyard Buddies, I stamped all the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and added little highlights with a white gel pen.

I tied black twine around the branch, adhered the banner to it and adhered the branch and all the other images to the card with foam tape. Finally, I added strings to the balloons with a black marker.

Hi everyone, Anja here today with another inspiration card. Again I used one of the fun colorful patterned papers from the Spring Fling 6x6 Paper pack as a background. With all the clouds and rainbows, I thought the cute critter umbrellas from the Spring Showers set would be the perfect match.

I trimmed the patterned paper to the size of my card base and cut out three openings with the Window Trio Square Dies. Behind the windows, I did some gradient ink blending with Distress Oxides (Mowed Lawn + Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean + Tumbled Glass, Picked Raspberry + Worn Lipstick) and popped up the panel with foam tape.

Next, I stamped the umbrellas in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and did some coloring with Copic Markers. I cut out the images with the coordinating dies an adhered them with foam squares. Finally, I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock rectangle and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Floating By Cards with Rachel and Candice

Hello everyone! It's Rachel here and I have a shaker card to share with you today that showcases some gorgeous balloons from the new Floating By Stamp Set! I combined this set with a cute little frog from the Froggy Friends Stamp Set to create a fun birthday card.

To start, I first stamped all of my images with Copic friendly black ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I then colored them with Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Next, I die cut a frame from white card stock using the Frilly Frame Hexagon Die along with a basic rectangle die to cut the window in the center. I created a base for my card using a piece of bright rainbow patterned paper from the new Spring Fling Patterned Paper Pack. Lastly, to create some extra shimmer, I added some Studio Katria Crystal Clear Fusion Mini 3mm Sequins for my shaker embellishments.

Hello, Candice back with you today, sharing a fun card to start your hopefully crafty filled weekend! I'm highlighting the awesome cluster of balloons in the Floating By stamp set!

I used a variety of Sunny Studio products to create my card:

• Floating By stamps & coordinating dies
• Hogs & Kisses stamps & coordinating dies
• Chubby Bunnies stamps (chicks & hello)
• Spring Showers stamps & coordinating dies
• Cityscape Border die
• Iridescent Pastel confetti

I began the card with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base that fits perfectly into a standard size envelope. For the background, I inked the bottom in squeezed lemonade and the top with mermaid lagoon, peacock feathers, evergreen bough & tumbled glass. I die cut the cityscape from grey and glued along the bottom.

Next, I stamp the balloons, piggy, chicks & clouds, colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies listed above to cut them out. I lined up the pig and the balloons and stamped the strings directly onto the background.

For the sentiment, I used sayings from the Floating By & Chubby Bunnies on trimmed banners that I had inked with the squeezed lemonade. I adhered all the images with foam tape for dimension and finished with a few pastel confetti.

Frilly Frame Eyelet Lace Focused Cards with Juliana and Candice

Hello crafty friends! It's Juliana here and today I'll be sharing how the Frilly Fames Eyelet Lace Die can be used for both embossing and die cutting to create a beautiful background for a card.

I began by stamping and coloring all the images from the Pink Peonies Stamp Set with Copic Markers. I then die cut them using the coordinating dies. Once this was finished I set them to the side to work on the background.

To create the embossed design, I took a piece of white cardstock and used the inside die from the Frilly Fames Eyelet Lace Die to emboss it. By using a silicone mat with your die cutting machine you can achieve this look. I recommend referring to the instruction manual for your manual die cutting machine on how to do this. Once the paper was embossed, I then die cut it using a simple stitched rectangle die. I then took the outside die from the Frilly Fames Eyelet Lace Die and used it to die cut a piece of white cardstock. Next, I layered these piece together and mounted them both to a piece of colored cardstock that coordinated with my colored images.

With the background complete, I then began arranging the stamped images and adhered them with double sided foam tape for a bit of depth and dimension. I finished off the card by stamping Happy Birthday from the Floating By Stamp Set.

Happy Friday friends! It's Candice back with you today using the new Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace die in a fun way! Because of the scalloped edge I can use it to create a slimline panel, a perfect way to extend my dies!

I began my slimline by creating an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which is a perfect size for your standard envelopes. To create the slimline panel using the new Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace die, I first run it through the die cutting machine, stopping just before you cut the bottom. Then you measure how high you want the frame to be and flip it and do the same to the other side, making sure you have lined it up fitting into the scalloped and stitched cuts. I then measured on the card front how wide I wanted it and repeat the steps above until you have the frame! It is easier done than explained!  

For the background, I first added the stitched clouds and then inked with abandoned coral, dried marigold & squeezed lemonade oxide inks. Next I stamped the chicks, kites, clouds, trees, & hearts, colored with copic markers and used the coordinating dies listed above to cut them out.

I layered one row of the trees on a scrap piece of white cardstock and cut out the bottom using the eyelet frame die adhering with foam tape over another layer of trees on the inked panel.

To put the card together, I added hearts to the clouds and adhered with foam tape trimming the edges with scissors. The chicks and kites were also put on the card with foam tape around the clouds.

For the sentiment, I first heat embossed in black on a banner, leaving space for the heart and inked over with squeezed lemonade to match the sky. I adhered with foam tape and added a few nuvo drops in red, orange and yellow.
