Everyday Cards with Rachel and Candice

Hello friends! It's Rachel here and I have a Pop-Up Box Card to share with you today that features the sweet little ballerinas from the Tiny Dancers Stamp Set. This set is perfect for all ages and comes with a variety of sentiments making it very versatile.

I created my card base to fit perfectly into a standard A6 envelope when folded flat. I like to make my box cards by hand so that I can customize the size to accommodate whatever images I want to use. For my images, I stamped them all onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics. I cut them out and set them aside to work on the base of my card.

I used both colored card stock and floral patterned paper from the Flirty Flowers Patterned Paper Pack to layer the sides of my card. Prior to adding the front layers, I stamped my sentiment (which I love!) onto the first layer with my MISTI Stamping Tool and some black ink. I adhered my dancers to the inner shelves of my card using some liquid adhesive. Lastly, I added a few images to the front of my card using some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares.

Happy New Year! Candice with you today sharing a few of my favorites from Sunny Studio Stamps on my bumblebee Valentine's slimline card!  

My slimline card base measures 8 1/2 x 3 1/2, a perfect size for standard and size 9A envelopes. For my background, I first inked with mustard seed & squeezed lemonade and then splattered with black, yellow & white shimmer sprays.

While I let that dry, I die cut multiples of the honeycomb from the Frilly Frames Hexagon die, layered two sets and then trimmed to fit on the front. I then created the scalloped circle tags from white and black thick cardstock. To create the polka dots on the white tags, I used the Frilly Frames Polka-dot die as a stencil and filled them in with a black pen. I put them together off center with some twine.

Next, I stamped my images from the adorable Just Bee-cause stamp set, colored with copic markers, and used the coordinating dies to cut out. To finish the card, I stamped my sentiment and trail on a banner and using foam tape covered the separation of the honeycombs. To make it a Valentine's card, I die cut the hearts from the Basic Mini Shapes dies II in red glitter and added a few white pearls.

Hogs & Kisses and Breakfast Puns Cards with Anja and Vanessa

Hello everyone, Anja here and first of all, I'm wishing you a happy, exciting, healthy and creative new year! I'm so thankful to be a part of this awesome Creative Team for another term!

I thought the cute piggie from the Hogs & Kisses set was perfect for a cheering Happy New Year card. For the background, I chose the blue patterned paper from the Heroic Halftones Paper pack. At the bottom, I added a thin strip of black glitter cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Season's Greetings set in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Rose Gold embossing powder.

I stamped the pig in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating die to cut it out. Finally, I scattered white star sequins and Platinum Stickles dots around this happy fellow.

Hello to you! Vanessa here today with a new card using various Sunny Studio sets. I am so in the mood for love themed projects and couldn't resist making this card for coffee lovers:

First, I die-cut the white panel using the Frilly Frames Chevron Dies and trimmed it to fit the card base. Then I stamped the sentiment and the arms from Breakfast Puns, tied on baker's twine and adhered the panel to the card.

Now I stamped the two Coffee to Go Cups from Mug Hugs onto white cardstock, Kraft cardstock and patterned paper (from Dots & Stripes Pastels + Flirty Flowers), paper-pieced + fussy-cut the images, stamped the faces from Fresh & Fruity, added cheeks with a colored pencil and adhered the elements to the card with foam tape. Finally, I added hearts from the Pink & Purple Heart Confetti.

I hope you don't think it's too early for these cards - but I believe they can be used all year round to tell someone you love them :) It's been such fun to browse through all the Sunny Studio sets for matching stamps, I enjoy combining them immensely! Thanks for visiting today!

Season's Greetings Happy New Year's Cards with Ana and Franci

Hello crafty friends and welcome back! Ana here today sharing a New Year’s card featuring Season’s Greetings stamps and Rustic Winter dies. 

I have started with creating the background blending Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavender distress inks. While the panel was drying, I die cut the deer and snowy hill from white cardstock using Rustic Winter dies (deer) and Woodland Borders dies (stitched hill). I used Stitched Oval dies to create a window opening on the front panel.

Once the ink blended panel was dry, I used VersaMark sticky ink and gold embossing powder to heat emboss Happy New Year sentiment (from Season’s Greetings stamps). I stamped the stars (from Christmas Chapel stamps) and gold heat embossed them next, then gold heat embossed the deer die cuts. 

I added the snowy hill behind the oval opening, then adhered the panel to the ink blended background with foam tape. Finally, I added the deer with foam tape as well, and my card was finished!

Hello there and Happy 2020! It's Franci here with you today and I'm happy to share a quick and easy Happy New Year card I made with all Sunny Studio supplies. Long story short I was diving into the new release (which is amazing!!!) and I suddenly released I needed one more festive card so. I went back to my favorite clean and simple design and here's it!

Aww this little mouse is my favorite, so adorable! I started by making my white card base and added some details with my scoring board. Then I stamped my sentiment from the Season's Greetings stamp set on the bottom and all the other images from the Merry Mice set on to a piece of white cardstock. I colored them with copics and die cut them with their coordinated dies.

I inked the front top of my card with Salty Ocean and Stormy Sky distress inks, glued down my images with foam adhesive and added details with a white gel pen.

I'm so happy about how it turned out and if you need lots of Happy New Year cards is a super simple design to create a ton of! Wish all you the best for the New Year and thanks a lot for stopping by today!

Love Monkey and Alpaca Holidays Cards with Angelica and Juliana

Hi friends! Angelica here, sharing a clean and simple card featuring Love Monkey stamp set.

I adore this monkey and balloons stamp, and wanted to make it the center of attention. I stamped the image with Milk Chocolate hybrid ink, and colored the scene with Copic markers. I stamped a sentiment from the set and trimmed the panel. I used the large Fancy Frames Rectangle to die-cut Classic Gingham pattern paper. I glued the frame onto the panel, and attached the panel to a card base with foam adhesive.

Copic colors used for the monkey: E04, E11, E51, E000 (face and belly), E18, E17, E15, E13.

Hello Sunny Studio Friends! It's Juliana and today I'm sharing a winter themed card featuring a mix of old and new products including the Layered Snowflake Frame Die and Alpaca Holiday Stamp Set.

I began with stamping and die cutting the cute alpacas and mountains from the Alpaca Holiday Stamp Set. To give them a more wintery feel, I added a hat and ear muffs from the Merry Mice Stamp Set.

I then took the Layered Snowflake Frame Die and cut it from a piece of white cardstock trimmed to 4.25 x 5.5 inches. I also cut some extra snowflakes from white cardstock and set them to the side.

For the background, I used a new to me technique. I took a piece of purple colored cardstock and ink blended it with Distress Oxide in Salty Ocean. I love how quickly I was able to create an ink blended winter sky by using colored cardstock.

To make the sky more wintery, I added some small snowflakes stamped using Versamark Embossing Ink. They didn't stand out quite enough, so I took a white gel pen and added more snowflakes. You could also do a watered down acrylic paint splatter as well if you don't have a gel pen. I actually added these “extra” snowflakes with the gel pen after the layers were all assembled because I was worried about the paint splattering onto the stamped images.

Once the winter scene was complete, I added the sentiment using the “winter” stamp from Alpaca Holiday Stamp Set and the “wishes” was die cut using the dies from the Layered Snowflake Frame Die. Remember those extra snowflakes? I added them at this point and dressed them up with some Clear Drops from the Clear Drops Mix 2.

Breakfast Puns and Love Monkey Punny Cards with Leanne and Eloise

Hello everyone! Leanne here and I want to wish you all a very happy new year! This is my final post of 2019 but I will be back in 2020 with more crafty inspiration showcasing lots of fun new Sunny Studio products.  

Today's project features a fun waffle image and coordinating sentiment from the Breakfast Puns set. I used colors reminiscent of a traditional Valentine's card. However, this design could be used any time year by changing up the colors.  

I started by stamping out five waffles and several strawberries from Breakfast Puns. I used Nuvo Acorn Brown ink to stamp the images and then colored with Copic markers. For the waffles I used this Copic combo: E53, E55, & E57. I then trimmed a white card stock strip to about 2 inches wide. I sponged some light pink ink along the bottom edge of the strip and then splattered thinned red paint. I adhered the waffles and strawberries across the length of this strip. I stamped the coordinating punny sentiment also from the Breakfast Puns set.  

I layered the waffle strip over some red Classic Gingham patterned paper. I die cut two Ric Rac border strips to layer behind the gingham. I then adhered all the layers onto a kraft A2 card base. To finish off the card I tied some baker's twine around the top.

Hi friends, Eloise here and today I’m using the Love Monkey Stamp Set along with the Fluffy Clouds Dies to create a Valentine’s Day card.

I started off with stamping out all my images and colouring them in with Copic Markers. Once they were coloured, I cut them out.

I then took a piece of white cardstock and ink blended some Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Ditress Ink into the centre. I used the Fluffy Clouds Dies and cut some from the centre. I then stamped the sentiment ‘Swinging By To Say I Love You’ onto the bottom with black ink and adhered my images over the top. I lastly adhered the panel onto a grey card base.
