Feeling Frosty Cards with Juliana and Angelica

Hello Sunny Studio Friends! It's Juliana here and today I'm sharing an interactive shaker card I created using the Feeling Frosty Stamp Set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Feeling Frosty Layered Snowflake Frame Die Woodland Borders Winter Themed Card by Juliana Michaels

To get started, I stamped and colored several of the snow people from the Feeling Frosty Stamp Set. I then die cut them using the Feeling Frosty coordinating dies. I always end up coloring and stamping more images than I end up using on my cards! Can anyone relate to that? I then just sit them to the side and save them for future projects.

Now to create the shaker part of the card. Here, I took the Layered Snowflake Frame Die and used the inner die to cut a piece of white cardstock. This die is super intricate and I highly recommend using a metal shim to get a clean cut with your manual die cutting machine. After I had the frame die cut, I trimmed the outer edges to create a square. I then used this as the frame for the shaker part of the card. Turning the frame over, I adhered a piece of acetate to the back side and then added double sided adhesive foam strips to the edge of the frame to create the box. I filled this with a mix of clear seed beads and the adorable Blue Snowflake Confetti.

To complete the shaker box, I cut a piece of blue patterned paper from the Very Merry 6x6 Paper Pad the just smaller than the shaker frame. This will be the back of the shaker piece. I then die cut some snowy hills from white cardstock using the Woodland Borders Die. I adhered this at the bottom of the piece of blue paper and then added the cute snow people from the Frosty Friends to complete the scene. The box was then completed by adhering this piece to the backside of the shaker box.

Once the shaker box was complete, I adhered it to a strip of blue paper from the Very Merry 6x6 Paper Pad and then mounted this onto a piece of red paper from the same paper pad.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed learning how I created this shaker card using the Feeling Frosty Stamp Set.

Hi friends, Angelica here with winter card featuring the adorable Feeling Frosty stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Feeling Frosty Frilly Frame Dies Winter Themed Card by Angelica Conrad

I used the Frilly Frames Retro Petals stitched rectangle to die-cut white card stock. I ripped masking paper into the shape of a small hill, and attached it to the panel. I blended Chipped Sapphire, Stormy Sky, and Tumbled Glass Distress oxide inks over the mask to make the sky. After the inks were dry, I stamped and white heat-embossed snowflakes from the stamp set. I used my MISTI to line the sentiment up evenly, and stamped it with black ink. I added a heavy coat of Ranger Multi Media Matte onto the hill, and poured a generous amount of chunky glitter over the adhesive.

While the adhesive was drying, I stamped and colored the snowmen. I used Copic Markers to color them, shading the snowmen with the following colors: B00, BV00, BV000, Colorless Blender. After I die-cut them with the coordinating dies, I attached them to the panel with thin foam squares. I added the panel to a card base with foam adhesive to finish the card.

Giving these two frosty friends a clean and simple background really lets them shine, and adding small touches like the glitter snow gives the card fun texture. I hope I have help inspired new ideas for this stamp set. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Season's Greetings Cards with Eloise and Leanne

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I’m using the Season’s Greetings Stamp Set along with Scenic Route to create a Christmas card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Season's Greetings Scenic Route Winter Holiday Card by Eloise Blu

I started off with ink blending some blue Distress Inks onto a white piece of cardstock. I then white heat embossed the large ‘Season’s Greetings’ from the stamp set onto the piece also.

(Copic Markers Used: BV01, BV02, BV04, BV08 / V01, V12, V15, V17 / BG10, BG11, BG13, BG49 / RV10, RV13, RV25, RV19 / R12, R14, R17, R27 / YR00, YR02, YR14, YR18 / Y11, Y13, Y15, Y19 / YG01, YG03, YG23, YG17 / B91, B93, B95, B97 / YG61, YG63, YG67, G28 / B000, B000, 0 / Y00 / E41, E42, E43, E44)

Next I stamped out a couple of the images from Scenic Route Stamp Set and coloured them in with Copic Markers. Once they were coloured, I cut them out. I then added foam tape onto the backs and adhered them down onto the bottom of the panel. Lastly, I added white gel pen details onto the images and added snow into the sky.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I’ll see you next week.

Hello everyone and happy November! Leanne here, and I have a mix and match card design to share today. I've mixed old and new stamps to create a little holiday scene with a bold greeting.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Season's Greetings Gleeful Reindeer Santa Claus Lane Christmas Card by Leanne West

I started with an A2 size card base. I used Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink to color the top half of the card front. I generously splattered the sky with thinned white paint. I then white heat embossed Merry Christmas from the Season's Greetings stamp set. I also added a few heat embossed snow flakes to the sky. I stamped the additional greeting ... "have a magical holiday" which is from the Santa Claus Lane set.

I Copic colored images from Santa Claus Lane and Gleeful Reindeer to build my little holiday scene. I created two layers of snowy hills from glitter card stock using the Woodland Border dies. Instead of having the hills go all the way down to the bottom of the card, I decided to add a decorative border. I used a stamp from the Background Basics set to create the diagonal red and white stripes and that completed my card.
