Barnyard Buddies Farm Themed Howdy Card with Eloise

Hi everyone. Eloise here today and I'm here to show you a card I made with the new Barnyard Buddies stamp set. I love farm themed sets, they're always so cute!

To begin my card today I stamped, coloured and die cut my images out. I used Copic markers to colour all my images in today. Next up I took a piece of masking paper and cut it at a curved. Then using the positive piece I placed it over the top of a piece of watercolour cardstock and blended some blue Distress Inks over top in a circular motion. I used Tumbled Glass and Broken China.

Once the blue sky was done, I used the negative piece I had, adhered it over top of the blue, lining up the curved edge and blended some green Distress Inks over top. I used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for that, again, inking in a circular motion. I then took the nozzle from my water sprayer bottle and flicked on some water droplets, picked it up with a paper towel and dried it off with a heat tool.

Next up I adhered down all my images onto my small scene. I adhered the fences and barn flat onto my background and foam tape for my bale of hay, cow and chick images. To finish up my card I took the 'Howdy' sentiment from the Barnyard Buddies stamp set and stamped it down to the left in black ink. I adhered my panel down onto some yellow cardstock and then down onto a white card base and that finished up my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you're loving seeing all the inspiration for the new sets!

Two Scoops Ice Cream Stamped Background Card with Amy

Hello everyone! Amy here, and today I have a card that features one of my favorite layering stamp set, Two Scoops. This set is so much fun, easy to line up, and perfect for your summer projects.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Two Scoops Ice Cream Stamped Background Card by Amy Yang

To begin, I started by stamping an ice cream and a cherry on 110 Neenah white cardstock (I like to use heavy cardstocks when I know I'll be using a lot of Glossy Accents; it prevents the paper from warping) using dye inks. Next, I die cut the images with the coordinating dies and applied Star Dust Stickles and Glossy Accents on the cherry and the ice cream. To make it extra special, I added real sprinkles on top while the glossy accent was still wet to glue it down.

For the background panel, I randomly stamped the ice creams with the little drips using dye inks on 5-1/4"x 4" cardstock. I only stamped the first layers to keep the colors soft; I didn't want them to stand out next to the featured ice cream. I heat embossed the sentiment on trimmed vellum paper.

To assemble the elements together, I wrapped the vellum and twine around the background panel and adhered it with tape. Next, I added foam tape behind the background panel (making sure not to cover the twine), then adhered it to A2 size yellow pattern paper. Attached that to the top folding card base. Lastly, I adhered foam tape behind the cherry and the ice cream, and mounted it onto the top of the card.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!
