Icing Rectangle Die Focused Card with Tina M

Hello there! Tina M here sharing a card featuring the new Icing Rectangle Frame Dies!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Icing Rectangle Frame Dies & Penguin Pair Friendship Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Hello Word Dies, Spring Garland)

For my card I used an A2 size card base. I started off by trimming a piece of white cardstock to 5,5 x 4,25 inches and adhered it to the card base using double sided tape.

Next, I masked the edges of the white panel with painters’ tape and inked the center using a blending brush and the ink Sage from Pink Fresh Studio. After I removed the painters’ tape, I splattered black acrylic ink on the whole panel.

Whilst letting the panel dry, I stamped one of the penguins from the Penguin Pair Stamps and some of the flowers from the Spring Garland Stamps on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below.

Copic colors used:
Penguin: N3/5/6/8, C0/1, R00/30/32, YR21/24/27
Flowers: BG10/11/13/49
Leaves: G94/99

I then die cut out the second largest of the Icing Rectangle Frame Dies from black card stock as I love black accents on my cards and glued it to the card base! I also die cut the stamped and colored images out using the coordinating Penguin Pair Dies and the Spring Garland Dies.

I added foam dots to back of the penguin and the flowers for dimension and adhered them to the card! I placed the flowers at the bottom, right hand side of the panel and tucked the penguin behind the leaves!

To finish off my card I die cut two Hello, using the Hello Word Die, one from black card stock and one from the Classic Sunburst Paper pad, the turquoise grid pattern up. I glued them together using liquid glue, placing the black as a shadow and adhered them to the card.

Thanks for stopping by! Wishing you all a happy and colorful day!

Inside Greetings Friends Card with Yan

Hello Everyone! This is Yan on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today and I’m so excited to share a friendship-themed card featuring the Inside Greetings Friends Stamps and Penguin Pair Stamps from Sunny Studio’s Spring New Release. These adorable penguins and sweet sentiments are such a perfect match — I had a wonderful time creating this cheerful little scene celebrating friendship and kindness!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Inside Greetings Friends & Penguin Pair Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Icing Rectangle Frame Dies)

First, I stamped the penguins from the Penguin Pair Stamps onto Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then, I colored them with Copic markers bringing them to life with soft, playful shading. Once they were finished, I used the Penguin Pair Dies to cut them out perfectly, and arranged them together in a cheerful little grouping.

COPIC COLOUR:
Penguins: E30, E41, R30, W3, W5, Y19, Y02
Glasses: R43, R30
Heart Headband : Y19, Y02
Bow: B12, B16

For the background, I blended soft, gentle colors on white cardstock using Distress Oxides in Saltwater Taffy, Squeezed Lemonade, and Salvaged Patina. Then, I heat embossed heartfelt sentiments from the Inside Greetings Friends Stamps onto vellum paper, and die-cut frames from white cardstock using the Icing Rectangle Frame Dies to create a lovely layered effect.

Finally, I layered all the elements together using foam tape and glue, arranging them to form a playful, dimensional scene full of warmth and friendship — just like in the photo!

Thank you so much for stopping by — I hope this little creation brings a smile to your day!

Radiating Circles Die Focused Card with Tina M

It’s Tina M here, today I’m sharing a card featuring the new Radiating Circle DiesFor this card I imagined the circles as plates!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Radiating Circles Die Focused Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Quill Cuties, Baked With Love, Inside Greetings Friends, Icing Rectangle Frame Dies)

I started off by stamping a bunch of cookies from the Baked With Love stamp set, to go on my plates! I also stamped two hedgehogs from the Quill Cuties stamp set on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and then used the coordinating Baked With Love dies and the Quill Cuties dies to die cut them out. I colored the images with my Copic Markers, see list below.

Copic colors used:
Cookies: E21/23/25/27/29, BG 11/13/49, RV 52/55/66
Hedgehogs: W0/1/3/5, R00/30/32

I die cut the largest of the Icing Rectangle Frame dies from black cardstock and glued it to my A2 card base. I also die cut the largest of the Icing Rectangle Frame dies from the turquoise paper from the Classic Sunburst paper pack, the grid patterned side up. This time I didn´t use the actual scalloped frame but the inside piece to adhere to the card base.

Next, I die cut five pieces of Radiating Circle dies from pink card stock in four different sizes, I ink blended the edges using a slighter darker pink. I then positioned the circles on the turquoise patterned panel using pieces of low tack tape to keep them together and in place. Next, carefully removing them, placing the largest of the Icing Rectangle Frame dies on top and ran them through my die cutting machine. Now to fit and adhere the circles into the scalloped shapes of the frame using liquid glue.

I then stamped one of the sentiments from the Inside Greetings Friends Stamp set to the largest circle. I added foam dots to the back of the hedgehogs and the cookies for dimension and adhered them to the circles. Lastly, I applied Rock Candy by Ranger for some sparkle to the hearts of the two round cookies and the heart that the hedgehog holds!

Thank you for stopping by! Wishing you all a happy and colorful day!

Icing Rectangle Frame Die Focused Card with Yan

Hello everyone! It’s Yan here! I’m so excited to share my new card today, combining the stitched label frame die from Sunny Studio’s Icing Rectangle Frame Dies with the adorable Quill Cuties Stamp Set! Both are part of the Sunny Studio Spring New Release, and they work together so perfectly — I had such a fun time creating this cheerful design! Let’s get started!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Icing Rectangle Frame Die & Quill Cuties Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Dotted Diamond Dies, Basic Mini Shape Dies)

First, I stamped the adorable hedgehogs from the Quill Cuties Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock. Then, I colored them with Copic markers, adding warm tones and playful shading to bring out their cheerful personalities! Once the coloring was done, I used the Quill Cuties Dies to cut them out perfectly — they’re all ready to join the scene!

COPIC COLOUR:
Hedgehogs: E18, E35, E31, E30, R30
Glasses: Y11, Y15
Mug, Hat & Gift Box: BG23, BG15, B000, R46, R30

Next, I added a soft background to my creamy cardstock using the Dotted Diamond Landscape Die to create a delicate pierced pattern. Then, I used the Stitched Label Frames Dies from the Icing Rectangle Frame Die set to die-cut four frames — two from white cardstock and two from vellum paper. I blended Distress Oxide inks in Salvaged Patina over the white cardstock frames to add a gentle pop of color, and heat embossed heartfelt sentiments from the Inside Greetings Friends Stamp onto the vellum frames.

Finally, I used the Basic Mini Shape Dies 2 & 5 to die-cut a few hearts and snowflakes to add extra little details. Then, I layered all the elements together using foam tape and glue, arranging the hedgehogs and frames to create a cheerful, dimensional scene full of springtime fun — just as shown in the photo!

Thank you so much for stopping by — I’m so happy to share a little piece of my crafting joy with you today!

Guest Designer Spotlight: Quill Cuties Cards with Aiysha Chander

Hello everyone! I'm Aiysha, so excited to be guest designing for Sunny Studio Stamps today, featuring two cards created with the Quill Cuties stamp set. This set is full of charm and personality, making it perfect for cheerful greetings and just-because cards. I created two designs with very different moods to show how easily these sweet hedgehogs adapt to any style.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Quill Cuties Card by Aiysha Chander (featuring Icing Rectangle Frame Dies)

For the first card, I created a soft, Valentine-inspired look. The Quill Cuties were stamped with memento black ink and colored in browns with Copic markers. I then layered the images on an ink-blended background to match the pink Valentine theme.

Two Quill Cuties take center stage, colored in cozy browns and soft pinks with a small pop of aqua for contrast. The sentiment was heat embossed in white, and the images were cut using coordinating Quill Cuties dies.

A scalloped frame from the Icing Rectangle Frames set gently anchors the design, while a few scattered hearts and a light splatter of white and gold add a whimsical finish.

The second card leans into a cozy, rustic feel. I used the Sunny Studio Woodgrain Embossing Folder on a kraft cardstock to create a warm textured base. Stamped several Quill Cuties on kraft cardstock to complement the kraft tones. They were then colored in earthy tones and arranged in a cheerful cluster to create a little scene.

To finish, I added the white heat embossed the sentiment on a contrasting brown strip with a red accent, and framed the design using a scalloped frame from the Icing Rectangle Frame set, finally scatter hearts to bring everything together.

For my third card, the adorable cutie soaking in a bathtub was too hard to resist, and it felt perfect for a fun bubble-bath–themed shaker card.

I stamped and colored these Cuties with Copic-friendly ink and created a soft pastel ink-blended background and built it up by die-cutting multiple layers using Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies to add depth. The shaker is filled with clear and blue sequins, chosen to mimic bubbly bath foam floating around the scene.

The sentiment "Quill you be mine?" adds a sweet finishing touch, making this card ideal for a love-themed occasion. Cute, playful, and full of movement—this little shaker card was such a joy to create.

Thank you so much for having me today! I hope these cards inspire you to create and send a few hedge hugs of your own.
