Critter Country Paper Focused Card with Yan

Hey crafty friends! It's Yan here. Happy October 1st! Autumn is officially here, and I'm so excited to bring a little cozy, spooky fun to your screen today. Grab a warm cup of tea, and let's jump into crafting!

​To kick things off, I stamped these adorable images using the Too Cute To Spook Stamps onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Next, I brought them to life using my Copic markers. Once the coloring was complete, I lined up the coordinating dies Too Cute To Spook Dies to cut everything out flawlessly.

Pumpkins: E35, E41, Y00, Y15, Y19, YG03, YG17, YG63, YR61

​For the backdrop, I cut a panel of the sweet pumpkin pattern from the Critter Country 6x6 Cardstock to layer directly onto my card base. To make my main focal point pop, I die-cut a dark circle using the Zig Zag Circles Dies and heat embossed the 'Trick or Treat!' sentiment along with the delicate spiderweb details in crisp white.

Finally, I arranged and popped up the sweet critter, pumpkins, and little spiders using foam tape. Adding that extra dimension really made this little haunted pumpkin patch come alive!

Amazing Argyle & Preppy Prints Focused Card with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. Today I’m sharing this colorful birthday card. 

For the background, I used the bright striped paper from the Preppy Prints paper pad. I just love how all those happy colors instantly create a festive feeling. For the main focal point, I die-cut a zig zag circle from gold glitter cardstock. I also die-cut a stitched circle large from white cardstock and lightly blended some yellow ink onto it.

To build the little party scene, I used the woodgrain paper from the Amazing Argyle paper pad. I die-cut another stitched circle from the brown woodgrain paper and trimmed it down so it could be used as the floor of the scene. I layered this onto the white circle and then mounted the whole scene onto the sparkly gold zig zag circle.

The adorable party animals are from the Party Pets stamp set. After stamping I colored all the images with my Ohuhu markers. I also stamped a couple of fun sentiments directly onto the white background.

Of course, a birthday card needs a little extra sparkle! I added some shiny sequins here and there for some extra bling. I also used a white gel pen to add little highlights to the colored images. Finally, I adhered the entire panel onto a card base, and this colorful little birthday scene was ready to party!

Sunflower Fields Card with Tina H

Hi there crafty friends, Tina here and since we are enjoying plenty of sunny days what better card to make than this one with the beautiful Sunflower Fields stamp and die set. 

I started this project by creating the flowers and leaves using my packaging sheet as a guide since this is a layering set. After selecting my ink colors, stamping multiple images is easy when you have all the white die cuts ready. 

A square design is a good match for any cluster of blooms, so after making a white square card base, I added another white layer with the largest of the Scalloped Square 2 Small dies. Then I switched to a white panel made with the Zig Zag Circle dies. My focal panel is a plain Stitched Circle Small from a bright pink paper (Dots & Stripes Jewel Tones). 

Now I was ready to place the flowers and leaves as a cluster in the left bottom corner of the card with thin foam tape. Since this card has a lot of layers, I wanted a clean and simple sentiment (Country Carnival) stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink on a white strip. Finally, I added a few Champagne Clear Jewels for a bit of sparkle!

Designer's Choice: Balloon Rides Card with Tina H

Hi there crafty friends, Tina here and I have a fun card for you in one of my favourite color combo’s, pink and teal.

This time I went with a square design and a white card base. My next layer is a striped square (Scalloped Square 1 Small dies, Dots & Stripes Jewel Tones). After glueing this piece to the card base, I went on to create a circle with the largest die of the Zig Zag Circles. To add interest to this background, which will be my sky, I did some splattering with a teal ink from my stash. I set this piece aside to dry and started working on my focal point.

After browsing through my stamps, I discovered that the big balloon from Balloon Rides fits perfectly inside the circle background. Choosing the passenger from this set was hard since they are all so cute, in the end the adorable bunny was the lucky one! I also stamped three clouds and two pieces of trim for the balloon. As mentioned before, I went with Copics in teal and pink shades. 

Meanwhile, the splattered circle was dry to the touch and could be adhered to the striped panel. Next, I assembled the balloon with the trim and bunny. Before deciding on the final placement, I selected and stamped a sentiment from Inside Greetings Congrats in Versafine Onyx Black ink. 

With all the elements of my design ready, I could mount the images and sentiment to my circle background. Lastly, I added a few Iridescent Jewels to finish this card.

Zig Zag Circles Die Focused Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here! Today I’m sharing a card featuring the Zig Zag Circle Dies!

I started by die cutting the next largest of the Zig Zag Circles Dies from alcohol ink friendly card stock and stamped the tile floor from the Sprawling Surfaces Stamp set. Next, I stamped the cute hedgehog in the bathtub, a few rubber ducks, the soap bar, the shampoo bottle, a heart and some bubbles from the Quill Cuties Stamp set on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below. I then die cut the images using the coordinating Quill Cuties Dies.

Copic colors used:
Hedgehog: N3/5/6/8, W0/1/3, R30/32
Bathtub: R22/35/37/39, Y26/28
Rubber duck: YR04, Y15/17
Soap bar & Shampoo bottle: BG11/13
Heart: R22/35
Tile floor: BG10/11/13, W1

Next, I ink blended the “wall” part of the Zig Zag Circle using turquoise ink and then stamped the sentiment, also from the Quill Cuties Stamps. I added foam dots to the back of my die cut pieces and adhered them to the Zig Zag Circle.

I trimmed a piece of turquoise Polka-dot Parade paper to 4,25 x 5,5 inches to cover my A2 size card base. Next, I trimmed a piece of white card stock 3,5 x 5,5 inches and a piece of red card stock 3,25 x 5,5 adhering them together on the polka dot card base. I added foam dots to the back of the Zig Zag Circle and adhered it to the center of the red panel.
