Zig Zag Circles Die Focused Card with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. Today I’m sharing this cute squirrels card featuring the new Zig Zag Circles dies.  

First, I cut a piece of white cardstock to use as the background for my card and die-cut the Zig Zag Circles from it. I then blended the edges of the circles with brown ink to add some soft/wooden definition.

Next, I blended pastel green ink onto the card base. I made the color a little darker around the circles to create more depth. After that, I adhered the background panel to the card and placed the Zig Zag circles back into their original spots.

Then it was time for stamping! I decided to use these adorable Squirrel Friends stamp set and stamped them with brown ink to keep the look soft. I colored the images with Ohuhu markers.

I left one circle open to stamp a sentiment from the new Inside Greetings Friends stamp set. Finally, I glued the squirrels and acorns onto the card, added a few tiny hearts also from the Inside Greetings Friends stamp set and added some highlights with a white gel pen.

Zig Zag Circle Die Focused Card with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a card that I made using the Zig Zag Circle Dies. 

I cut a top fold white base card. Cut a white rectangle 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch and scored a line every 1/2 inch. Adhered the rectangle to the base card and cut a piece of pattern paper 2 x 5 1/2 inch and adhered it to the panel also.

Die cut the Zig Zag Circle Dies out of vellum and heat set the sentiment out of the My Heart Stamp on to it. Die cut a white circle and adhered them together. Adhered the circles on the base using foam tape.

Stamped the penguins out of Passionate Penguins Stamps, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them by hand. Added all the images on to the card and finished the card off by using some Glossy Accents.

Quill Cuties Card with Tina H

Hi there crafty friends, Tina here and today we are creating a darling birthday card featuring the Quill Cuties stamp and die set.

For this design I went with a mini slimline idea using a die from my stash. I ran this die twice through my die cutting machine, once with plain white card stock and again with a red dotted paper from the Polka-dot Parade pack.

The first piece was cut to the size of a wide border before glueing both panels together with liquid glue, I stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment (Everyday Greetings) to this border with a red ink from my stash.

The main element of this cards are three small circles made with one of the smaller dies from the Zig Zag Circles set. For these I used one of my favorite papers, a neutral grey diagonal stripe (Subtle Grey Tones). Next, I added the middle circle in place, this helps to get even spacing for all these elements. After creating a white slimline card base, I adhered this layered panel to the base.

Then I was faced with the difficult task to select just three super adorable hedgehogs from the Quill Cuties stamp. They are all so cute and I will definitely use this set in other cards! All the coloring was done with my Copics in fun red, pink and blue tones. I used foam tape to mount the critters to the circles and added some Champagne Clear jewels for some fun bling!
