Guest Designer Spotlight: Sweet As Can Bee Gift Set with Tammy Stark

Hello friends! Tammy here with a fun project featuring the adorable set, Sweet as Can Bee. I decided to create a cute tea pocket and muslin bag, filled with tea, honey, and a honey dripper. This is such a sweet little gift for a tea lover!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sweet As Can Bee Gift Set by Tammy Stark (featuring Scalloped Oval Mat Dies, Brilliant Banner Dies)

To begin, I stamped the images from Sweet as Can Bee, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating diesNext, I die-cut 2 Scalloped Oval Mat 3 dies from Bristol cardstock, masked off the edges, and ink-blended them using the Pink Fresh Ink Cubes- Napa Valley. I arranged the images onto the inked oval mats, attaching some with foam tape for dimension. I then stamped a white banner, die-cut with the Brilliant Banner 3, and attached it along the bottom of the ovals using foam tape.

To create the pocket, I simply took a brown paper bag, folded up the bottom, and glued it along the edges to create a pocket. I covered the bag with the Dots & Stripes Jewel Tone Patterned Paper, then tied some lavender crinkle ribbon around it before attaching the scalloped oval with foam tape. I then filled my little pocket with tea, honey, and a honey dripper.

I also created a little tea pouch with an adorable tag. It is a little muslin bag that I repurposed, filled with tea and honey. It is tied up with a honey dripper and finished with a tag and crinkle ribbon.

Balloon Numbers Card with Yan

Hey crafty friends! It's Yan here, and today I’m showcasing the versatile Balloon Numbers Stamps. Instead of using them as a focal point, I stamped them in soft pastel tones to create a subtle, playful patterned backdrop for this adorable foxy scene.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Balloon Numbers & Foxy Friends Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Brilliant Banner Dies, Radiating Circles Dies, Rounded Rectangle Dies)

To kick things off, I stamped the adorable fox, umbrella, and little birds from the Foxy Friends Stamps onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Coloring them with Copic markers is always my favorite relaxed step! Once I finished coloring, I lined up the matching Foxy Friends Dies to die-cut all the pieces flawlessly.

COPIC COLORS:
Fox: E41, E43, R30, YR65
Umbrealla: B000, BG23, W1
Birds: R30, Y11, Y15

For the backdrop, I wanted a subtle patterned look without being too overwhelming. So, I took a separate piece of white cardstock and stamped the Balloon Numbers softly in pastel shades across the panel, then die-cut it with the Rounded Rectangle Window Dies. Next, I die-cut a circle using the Radiating Circle Dies and gently ink-blended Distress Oxide Ink in Salvaged Patina in the center to create a soft, airy sky for my little scene.

For the sentiment, I stamped "HAVE A FOXTASTIC DAY!" in crisp black ink onto a banner die-cut using the Brilliant Banner 3 Dies.

Finally, I mounted the background panel onto a golden-orange cardbase, then popped up the radiating circle, banner, and cute images using foam tape. That extra dimension really brings the little fox and his bird friends to life!

I hope this project inspires you to look at your number stamps in a fun new way! Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy crafting!

Guest Designer Spotlight: Gift Card Holders with Tammy Stark

Hello friends! Tammy here with a couple of fun onesie gift card holders, featuring the Bundle of Joy stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Bundle Of Joy Gift Card Holders by Tammy Stark (featuring Brilliant Banner Dies, Stitched Circle Dies, Scalloped Circle Mat Dies)

To begin, I stamped the images from the Bundle of Joy stamp set, colored with Copic markers, and die-cut with the coordinating Bundle of Joy dies.

To create the onesie shape, I started with an A2 rectangle (measuring 4 1/4X 5 1/2") cut from the Flirty Flowers Paper. I freehand cut the shape, taking inspiration from the onesie in the Bundle Of Joy set, then used the Stitched Circle Small Dies to cut the neck and leg openings. I then traced it onto heavy white cardstock and cut it out to create the back of the gift card holder.

Next, I cut 2 white Scalloped Circles Mat 1then layered a Stitched Small circle, cut from Bristol smooth cardstock. I ink blended one with pink ink and the other with light blue ink and adhered to the scalloped circles. I attached the scalloped circles onto the onesies using foam tape, then added the stamped images onto the circles. The sentiments were created using the Brilliant Banner 3 DieI die cut the banners using coordinating cardstock, then stamped the sentiments from the Bundle of Joy set in black ink, and attached to the gift card holders with foam tape. Lastly. I glued the white cardstock to the patterned paper, making sure to only adhere the bottom and sides of the onesie to create a pocket.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope I inspired you to create a fun shaped card using dies, and a cute stamp set, of course!
