Designer's Choice: Wonderful Window Die Focused Card with Yan

Hello friends! Yan here—I’m excited to share a soft and heartfelt Mother’s Day card featuring the lovely Wonderful Windows Dies. I love how this die set creates a charming window scene, perfect for adding a warm and meaningful touch to a card for someone special.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Wonderful Windows & Cat Antics Mother's Day Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Inside Greetings Friends, Sydney Alphabet Dies)

To begin, I stamped the sweet mama cat and kitten image from the Cat Antics Stamps onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then colored the image with Copic markers, bringing out the warm and loving details. Once finished, I used the Cat Antics Dies to cut it out neatly.

COPIC COLOR:
Mama Cat with Kitten : E18, E31, E35, E41, E43, R32
Fish in Food Bowl : BG10, BG23, R32, YR65, YR000
Ball of Yarn : R30, R32
Mice : W1, W5, R32

Next, I used the Wonderful Windows Dies to die cut the window frame from another piece of white cardstock three times, then stacked the layers together with glue to create a bit of dimension. I also added a soft touch of color using Copic markers (R32 and R30) to give the window frame a gentle, warm look.

For the background, I chose a piece from the Polka-dot Parade 6x6 Paper to add a soft and playful touch. I then stamped a sweet sentiment from the Inside Greetings Friends Stamps directly onto the background to complete the heartfelt message. Next, I used the Sydney Alphabet Dies to die cut the letters “MOM” from another piece of white cardstock three times, then stacked them together with glue to create a bit of dimension. Finally, I assembled all the elements using glue and double-sided tape to bring the whole design together.

I hope this card brings a touch of warmth and inspiration to your day!

Designer's Choice: Puddle Jumpers Card with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a card that I made using the Puddle Jumpers.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Puddle Jumpers Birthday Card by Marieke Slaats (featuring Sydney Alphabet Dies)

For today's card I decided to create a mini slimline card, it has been ages since I made one of these. So I cut a top fold white base card and added a piece of yellow pattern paper out of the Sleek Striped Paper PackOn a piece of watercolor paper I ink blended the background using Blueprint Sketch and splattered some water. Die cut the background and adhered it directly on to the card.

Die cut the "Splash" sentiment using the new Sydney Alphabet Dies. Stamped the other sentiments out of the Puddle Jumpers and Kiddie Pool stamps on some white cardstock using a yellow ink. Trimmed them down to some small banners and added some white gel pen details to the die cut letters.

Used Copic Colors:
Yellow - Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11
White - C5, C3, C1, C00, 0
Orange - YR09, YR16, YR12
Hair - E37, E35, E33
Skin - E000, E00, E04, E11, E21 / R20
Blue - B29, b28, B26, B24, B23

Stamped the images out of Puddle Jumpers and Foxy Friends (top part of the umbrella) on some Copic friendly paper and colored them up using my Copic markers. Cut the images by hand and added all the elements to the card. Finished the card by adding some raindrops using Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink.

Have a wonderful day!

Designer's Choice: Penguin Pair Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today and I am sharing a fun postcard style card featuring the adorable penguins from the Penguin Pair set. I am completely obsessed with postage and postcard style cards and had to create one with this short stack of cuties and a customized sentiment using the Sydney Alphabet Dies. So let's get started.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Penguin Pair & Sydney Alphabet Die Card by Hanh Nguyen (featuring Diagonal & Straight Stripes Stencils, Big Bunny)

I stamped the penguins from the Penguin Pair Stamp and an envelope from the Big Bunny Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Penguin Pair Dies and Big Bunny Dies to die cut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Penguins: T3/4/5/6/7, W00/0/1, Y38 YR04, R000/20
Heart: R14/24/27/29
Envelope: C1, R14/24/29

Sunny Studio Stamps: Penguin Pair & Sydney Alphabet Die Card by Hanh Nguyen (featuring Diagonal & Straight Stripes Stencils, Big Bunny)

For the background, I used the Diagonal & Straight Stripes Stencils and some Candied Apple Distress ink to create a striped border on a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I took another piece of white cardstock and lightly ink blended some Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide ink onto the edges. I trimmed a bit off the edges of the pink panel and adhered the two panels together.

For the sentiment, I stamped the "Sending Love &" sentiment from the Big Bunny Stamp set directly onto the pink panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the Sydney Alphabet Dies to die cut the PAPER HUGS letters 2 times out of red cardstock. I layered and adhered the letters to each other and then onto the postcard. I accented the letters with a white gel pen. I used a black pen to draw in the line and dots to create a separation of the left and right side of the postcard.

I used the Gift Card Envelopes Dies to die cut two stamps and the LOVE and XOXO letters out of white, red and silver cardstock. I adhered them to the upper right corner of my postcard. I adhered the penguins to the panel with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. The panel was adhered to a white A2 card base.

I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. I hope you liked my card. For more info and ideas, be sure to visit the Sunny Studio Stamps Shop. Please also visit my INSTAGRAM feed for more inspirations.

To start, I stamped the adorable dogs from the Party Pets Stamps onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then colored them with Copic markers to bring them to life. Once finished, I used the Party Pets Dies to cut them out neatly.

COPIC COLOR:
Dog With Bone : E18, E31, E35, E41, E43, R32, W1
3 Heart Balloons : G40, R30, R32, RV10, Y02, Y19, YG03
Gifts & Party Hat : G40, R30, R32, RV10, YG03

Sunny Studio Stamps: Loopy Rectangle Frame Die & Party Pets Birthday Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Sydney Alphabet Dies)

For the background, I die cut a panel from white cardstock using the Loopy Rectangle Frame Dies. I then blended Distress Oxides in Saltwater Taffy and Twisted Citron to create a soft, cheerful color combination perfect for a birthday card.

Next, I used the Sydney Alphabet Dies to die cut the letters "HBD" from another piece of white cardstock three times, stacking them with glue to create a bit of dimension. Finally, I assembled all the elements using foam tape and glue to bring the scene together.

This cheerful little card was so fun to create, and I hope it inspires your next birthday project!

Sydney Alphabet Die Focused Card with Tina M

Hello there! Tina M here sharing a card created with the Sydney Alphabet Dies!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sydney Alphabet & Penguin Pair Birthday Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Spring Garland, Icing Rectangle Frame Dies)

For my card I used an A2 size card base. I started by trimming a piece of the red sunburst patterned paper from the Classic Sunburst Paper pack to 5,5 x 4,25 inches and adhered it to my card base using double sided tape. Next, I stamped the flowers and butterflies from the Spring Garland Stamp set, one of the penguins and a bow from the Penguin Pair Stamp set on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below. I then die cut the images out using the coordinating Spring Garland Dies and Penguin Pair Dies.

Copic colors used:
Flowers: R01/02/05, Y17
Leaves: YG61/63, G94/95
Penguin: N3/4/5/6/8, W0/1/3, R00/30/32, YR21/24/27
Bow: R01/02/05
Butterflies: R01/02/05, YG61, W3

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sydney Alphabet & Penguin Pair Birthday Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Spring Garland, Icing Rectangle Frame Dies)

Next, I die cut the largest of the Icing Rectangle Frame Dies and the words happy and birthday out of watercolor paper using the Sydney Alphabet Dies, and colored them using a super sparkly metallic watercolor! I also die cut the letters from black cardstock, to create a shadow to the watercolored letters.

I adhered the rectangle frame and the letters to the card base using liquid glue. I added foam dots to back of the flowers, butterflies and the penguin for dimension and adhered them to the card!

Thanks for stopping by! Wishing you all a happy and colorful day!

Sydney Alphabet Die Focused Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog and today I am sharing a fun card featuring the Foxy FriendsBaked with Love and Sydney Alphabet Dies set. These foxy friends are having the best time baking up a batch of cookies. I thought it would be fun to use the Sydney Alphabet Dies to create a punny sentiment for the scene. So let’s get started.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sydney Alphabet Dies & Baked With Love Card by Hanh Nguyen (featuring Foxy Friends, Comic Strip Everyday Dies, Build-A-Greetings Holidays)

I stamped the images from the Foxy Friends Stamp and Baked with Love Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Foxy Friends Dies and Baked with Love Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Foxes: YR21/24/27 E35/37, W00/1/3, R000/20, W5
Birds: Y11/13/15, R20
Cookies: E51/53
Pink: RV000/10/21/13/14
Rolling pin: E31/34/35
Spatula: C1/3, RV10/21/13/14
Piping bag: C00/0/1/3, C1/3, R21
BAKE letters: RV13

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sydney Alphabet Dies & Baked With Love Card by Hanh Nguyen (featuring Foxy Friends, Comic Strip Everyday Dies, Build-A-Greetings Holidays)

I used the Sydney Alphabet Dies to diecut the BAKE letters 2 times out of white cardstock. In an effort to get the perfect color match, I colored one set of the letters with the sane Copic marker that I used for the colored images. I layered and adhered the colored letters to the set of white letters.

For the layout, I used the Comic Strip Everyday Dies to diecut the panel 3 times out of white cardstock. I used all 3 of the frames but only one set of the inside parts of the panels. I stacked and adhered the 3 frames to each other and then to the front of a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5”). I lightly ink blended the edges of the inside parts of the panels with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sydney Alphabet Dies & Baked With Love Card by Hanh Nguyen (featuring Foxy Friends, Comic Strip Everyday Dies, Build-A-Greetings Holidays)

For the sentiment, I used my colored images and BAKE letters to roughly layout my design on the center inked panel. I adhered the BAKE to the panel with liquid glue. Then I stamped the “you”, “make” and “happy” words from the Build-a-Greeting Holidays Stamp set directly onto the panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. NOTE: I created my own “me” word by masking off the final letters of the “merry” word on the stamp, inking the stamp, removing the masking and then stamping onto the panel.

The little inked panels were adhered into the stacked frame on the card front. Finally, I adhered the colored images with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest.

I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. I hope you liked my card. For more info and ideas, be sure to visit the Sunny Studio Stamps Shop. Please also visit my INSTAGRAM feed for more inspirations.
