Wedded Bliss Card with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. Today I’m sharing a monochrome wedding shaker card, created in soft grey tones and a touch of sparkle.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Wedded Bliss & Majestic Meadow Anniversary Card by Janneke Peters (featuring Balloon Numbers, Stitched Circle Dies)

I started by die-cutting two card bases from the Subtle Grey Tones Paper Pad using the beautiful heart print paper. Next, I stamped the Majestic Meadow background twice with grey ink on each card base. From one sheet of cardstock, I die-cut a circle using the Stitched Circle Large dies to create the shaker window.

On white cardstock, I stamped the adorable bird and the tulips from the Majestic Meadow stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I also stamped the lovely penguin couple from the Wedded Bliss stamp set. I then colored all the images using my collection of Ohuhu grey pencils, adding depth and dimension while keeping everything in a beautiful monochromatic style.

For the anniversary numbers, I stamped the 25 from the Balloon Number stamp set and finished them with glitter embossing powder for a subtle sparkle that makes them stand out perfectly.

The little bird was adhered to the bottom card base, inside the shaker element, while all the remaining images were attached to the top layer. Using foam tape, I adhered the top layer to the bottom layer, leaving enough space for the shaker elements to move freely inside.

Card done, ready to send joy! Thanks for joining me, and see you next week.

Balloon Numbers Card with Yan

Hey crafty friends! It's Yan here, and today I’m showcasing the versatile Balloon Numbers Stamps. Instead of using them as a focal point, I stamped them in soft pastel tones to create a subtle, playful patterned backdrop for this adorable foxy scene.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Balloon Numbers & Foxy Friends Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Brilliant Banner Dies, Radiating Circles Dies, Rounded Rectangle Dies)

To kick things off, I stamped the adorable fox, umbrella, and little birds from the Foxy Friends Stamps onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Coloring them with Copic markers is always my favorite relaxed step! Once I finished coloring, I lined up the matching Foxy Friends Dies to die-cut all the pieces flawlessly.

COPIC COLORS:
Fox: E41, E43, R30, YR65
Umbrealla: B000, BG23, W1
Birds: R30, Y11, Y15

For the backdrop, I wanted a subtle patterned look without being too overwhelming. So, I took a separate piece of white cardstock and stamped the Balloon Numbers softly in pastel shades across the panel, then die-cut it with the Rounded Rectangle Window Dies. Next, I die-cut a circle using the Radiating Circle Dies and gently ink-blended Distress Oxide Ink in Salvaged Patina in the center to create a soft, airy sky for my little scene.

For the sentiment, I stamped "HAVE A FOXTASTIC DAY!" in crisp black ink onto a banner die-cut using the Brilliant Banner 3 Dies.

Finally, I mounted the background panel onto a golden-orange cardbase, then popped up the radiating circle, banner, and cute images using foam tape. That extra dimension really brings the little fox and his bird friends to life!

I hope this project inspires you to look at your number stamps in a fun new way! Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy crafting!

Balloon Numbers Cards with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a card set that I made using the Balloon Numbers.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Balloon Numbers & Big Bold Greetings Birthday Card by Marieke Slaats

For today I decided to create a duo of cards using the Balloon Numbers stamp. Cut a white 3 3/4 x 5 inch panel and marked the middle. Lined up the Balloon Numbers stamp onto an acrylic block and stamped the middle color first. Then added the top and bottom colors.

Cut a slightly larger white panel and glued them together. For the basecard I cut a white topfold base card. Added the same colors of cardstock strips (1/4 inch) on to the base. Added the panel using foam tape.

Stamped the sentiment out of the Big Bold Greetings stamp and cut it using the matching Big Bold Greetings dies. Heat set the sentiment out of Puddle Jumpers on some black cardstock and trimmed it down to a small banner.

Die cut a vellum balloon and added the sentiments on to them. To finish the balloon I added a piece of black twine and some clear sequins.

Have a wonderful day!

Balloon Alphabet Die Focused Card with Yan

Happy summer, crafty friends! It's Yan here, and today I'm bringing a splash of tropical sunshine to your screen. Lately, I've been absolutely obsessed with the Balloon Alphabet Stamps and Dies — it is the perfect set for adding a cheerful, floating celebration to your summer projects!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Balloon Alphabet Dies & Monkey Business Summer Themed Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Tropical Trees Backdrop Dies)

To kick things off, I stamped the cheeky monkeys from the Monkey Business stamps onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. For the scenery, I used the Tropical Trees Background Die to cut out the beautiful palm trees and sandy beach hills. I then brought all of these elements to life with my Copic markers.

COPIC COLOR:
Monkey: E30, E31, E35, E47, R30
Palm Trees: E18, E31, E35, E47, G14, G40, YG03, YG17

For the backdrop, I wanted a sunset that radiates summer heat. On a separate piece of white cardstock, I ink-blended a gorgeous gradient using Distress Oxide Inks in Dried Marigold, Ripe Persimmon, Squeezed Lemonade, and Salty Ocean. I just love how the fiery sunset tones melt into the ocean blue at the bottom—it instantly brought the whole tropical scene together!

Next was my absolute favorite part—creating the magic 'SUMMER' balloons! I stamped and die-cut the letters to spell out 'SUMMER' in soft pastel tones, and finished them off with a touch of glitter for that magical, iridescent shimmer. To make the design extra playful, I tied real white twine to the balloons, so it looks like my happy little monkey is holding on tight and flying right up into the sunset!

To finish the card, I layered the die-cut beach hills and palm trees to create a sense of depth. Then, I used foam tape to pop up the monkeys and the 'HELLO' sentiment banner. Adding that little bit of dimension really made the whole scene come alive and feel full of joy.

And there you have it! I hope this joyful summer project inspires you to get crafty with your stamps. Happy crafting, everyone!

Foxy Friends Card with Yan

Hi friends, it’s Yan here! Today I’m sharing a handmade card featuring the Foxy Friends Stamps. This project combines stamping, coloring, ink blending, and die-cut layering to create a fun woodland scene.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Foxy Friends Friendship Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Balloon Alphabet Dies, Rounded Rectangle Window Dies)

To begin, stamp the images from the Foxy Friends Stamps set onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Color the images with Copic markers, then die-cut them using the coordinating Foxy Friends Dies

COPIC COLOR:
Chicks: R30, Y02, Y11, Y15
Fox : E31, E35, E41, R30, YR65, YR68
Potted Tulips : B000, B12, RV10, RV11, RV34, Y02, Y15, YG03, YG63

From there, I created the background by softly blending Distress Oxides in Worn Lipstick, Mowed Lawn, and Twisted Citron onto a separate piece of white cardstock, building a gentle, colorful base for the nature inspired card design.

To add the sentiment, I stamped the word “FOXY” in different colors onto white cardstock using the Balloon Alphabet Stamps, then used the coordinating Balloon Alphabet Dies to cut out each letter for a bold and playful look.

Finally, I die-cut a frame using the Rounded Rectangle Window Dies and assembled all the elements together with foam tape to build dimension, and completing the full scene as shown in the finished card.

I really enjoyed putting this card together, especially combining the soft ink blending with the playful alphabet sentiment. It’s always fun to see the scene come alive step by step. Thank you for stopping by today! I hope this tutorial gives you some inspiration for creating your own woodland themed cards. Happy crafting!

Build-A-Bowl & Strawberry Patch Card with Yan

Hi there, It’s Yan here! There’s something so fun about creating cards inspired by fresh summer treats. Today’s project features a cheerful handmade card using the Build-A-Bowl Dies and Strawberry Patch Dies. I really enjoyed combining these sets to build a bright and playful fruity scene filled with sweet little details.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Build-A-Bowl & Strawberry Patch Die Focused Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Scalloped Oval Mat Dies, Balloon Numbers)

First, I die-cut the fruit basket pieces from Creamy Cardstock using the Build-A-Bowl Dies. At the same time, I die-cut several strawberries from white cardstock using the Strawberry Patch Dies and colored them with Copic markers. Then I picked some of the adorable bunny images from the Balloon Number Stamp set, stamped them onto Neenah Solar White Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and colored them with Copic markers to bring them to life. Once finished, I used the coordinating Balloon Number Dies to cut them out neatly.

COPIC COLOR:
Bunny : E30, E41, E43, E47, R30
Strawberry : R30, R32, R43, RV00
Leaf : G14, G19, Y00, YG03, YG17, YG63

Sunny Studio Stamps: Build-A-Bowl & Strawberry Patch Die Focused Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Scalloped Oval Mat Dies, Balloon Numbers)

For the background, I blended Distress Oxide Ink in Worn Lipstick onto a separate piece of white cardstock to create a soft, warm backdrop. I then die-cut the word “hugs” three times from another piece of white cardstock using the Scalloped Oval Mat 3 Dies, and layered them together with liquid glue to add thickness and dimension.

Next, I arranged all the elements onto my card front and layered the strawberries inside the basket to create a full and cozy look. I added the little bunnies around the basket to make the scene feel extra playful and lively. To finish the card, I attached everything with foam tape and glue for added dimension and completed the design with a simple sentiment.

This was such a joyful project to create, and I love how the soft background and bright fruity elements work together to bring out a warm summer feel. I hope it inspires you to mix and match your dies and stamps in new and creative ways.

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing in my little crafting adventure!

The Graduate Card with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a project that I made using The Graduate.

Sunny Studio Stamps: The Graduate & Foxy Friends Graduation Card by Marieke Slaats (featuring Balloon Numbers)

For my card I thought it would be funny to create a chalkboard kinda look. So I cut a white topfold base card. Cut a 3 x 5 1/2 inch black piece of cardstock and stamped the large sentiment out of The Graduate stamp on to it. Adhered the black piece of cardstock on the base card and trimmed a strip of Kraft cardstock, glued that under the black piece.

Heat set the numbers out of the Balloon Numbers stamps using a gold embossing powder. Die cut the numbers using the matching Balloon Numbers dies. Adhered them on the base and added some gold stars and confetti. To finish the chalkboard look, I added some anti static powder around the sentiment.

Used Copic Colors:
Fox - E09, YR27, YR24, YR23, YR21 / N6, N4, N2 / W3, W1, W00, 0 / R22, R20, R00
Black - N8, N6, N4, N2
Wood - E37, E35, E33, E31
Paper - E53, E51, E50
Red - R59, R29, R24

Stamped all the images out of Foxy Friends and The Graduate, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Foxy Friends and The Graduate dies.

Have a wonderful day!
