Turkey Day Card with Rachel

Hello crafty friends! It's Rachel here and I have two cards to share with you today that feature the adorable new Turkey Day Stamp Set. 

To start, I first stamped my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then colored my images with Copic Markers and used the coordinating Turkey Day Die Set to cut them out.

For my first card, I only used one turkey from the images that I colored along with two pumpkins. I combined this set with the gorgeous Frilly Frames Lattice Die Set as well as the Fancy Frames Circle Dies to create a scalloped frame around a basic circle that I had die cut from some white card stock.

I layered my lattice onto an A2 sized teal background that I had pulled from the Sweater Weather 6" x 6" Paper Pad. I heat embossed my sentiment onto my banner that I had die cut from some orange card stock using the Brilliant Banner 1 Die.

Lastly, I die cut some teal foliage from a variety of colored card stock pieces (as well as some heavy duty vellum) using the Winter Greenery Dies.

For my second project, I combined the Turkey Day Stamp Set along with the frame that comes with the Comic Strip Speech Bubbles Die. I die cut my frame from white card stock and layered it on a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of plaid blue patterned paper from the Joyful Holiday Paper Pad.

For my snow drifts, I used the negative pieces that I had die cut when die cutting the outer frame and fussy cut some rounded edges onto each piece with a pair of scissors. All of my images were added with some 3D foam adhesive tape for an extra pop of dimension.

Turkey Day Card with Isha

Hello everyone! Isha here with a fall theme card featuring the adorable Turkey Day stamps and coordinating dies. These images are so cute and fun, which calls for a happy feel of the card. 

I started by sponging wilted violet, kitsch flamingo and scattered straw distress oxide inks to a white panel. I then used the Cable Knit embossing folder for some texture. Flick white paint and water splatters. Adhere this panel to a white card base.

Die-cut a white piece using the Mini Mat and Tag 3 dies. Adhere to the card using 3d foam. Stamp the images from the Turkey Day stamps and use coordinating dies to die-cut them. Stamp some images from the Fall Friends stamps, die-cut using coordinating dies. Color the images and adhere to the card. Flick gold paint to the card.

Turkey Day Card with Marine

Hello crafty friends, Marine here with you today, so happy to be back with this cute 3D card showcasing the fun turkeys from Turkey Day. I really enjoyed making them super colorful! And just this once, I didn't pick a lot of extra images from other sets, only the mushroom from Happy Harvest, as well as the acorn and the stump from Fall Friends. Nothing more, how shocking, right?

I started off by stamping all the images on Transotype perfect coloring paper using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I cut them all using the coordinating dies, and as always I used my alcohol markers to color everything. And like I said above, I went for colorful turkeys, I kept the bodies pretty neutral, but picked green, red, orange and yellow for the feather tails!

Next I worked on the card, and cut all the base elements out of kraft cardstock. I also cut some decorative pieces out of pattern papers:

• the yellow gingham back panel is from the Gingham Jewel Tones paper pack

• the green knitted insert pieces are from the Sweater Weather paper pack

• the red side pieces are from the Very Merry paper pack

• the wooden textured front piece is from the Amazing Argyle paper pack

I attached those decorative pieces of paper on the kraft base using 1mm foam squares, and then stuck all my images inside the 3D card using 3mm glue dots and liquid glue, and also on the outside using 1mm foam squares. 

I didn't want my sentiment to be lost among all those images, so I went for the Brilliant Banner 1 which I knew would stand out. I cut the two largest pieces out of yellow cardstock, and the two small pieces out of a darker yellow paper. I white heat embossed the "Happy Fall Y'all" greeting from Turkey Day on the piece with no fishtail, assembled the different elements using 1mm foam squares and liquid glue, and then attached the banner on the front of the card.

And that's it! I absolutely adore those turkeys, they're so adorable, and you can color them in so many different ways! I hope that you like this card! Thanks so much for stopping by, and see you next week!
