Wedded Bliss Card with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. Today I’m sharing a monochrome wedding shaker card, created in soft grey tones and a touch of sparkle.

I started by die-cutting two card bases from the Subtle Grey Tones Paper Pad using the beautiful heart print paper. Next, I stamped the Majestic Meadow background twice with grey ink on each card base. From one sheet of cardstock, I die-cut a circle using the Stitched Circle Large dies to create the shaker window.

On white cardstock, I stamped the adorable bird and the tulips from the Majestic Meadow stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I also stamped the lovely penguin couple from the Wedded Bliss stamp set. I then colored all the images using my collection of Ohuhu grey pencils, adding depth and dimension while keeping everything in a beautiful monochromatic style.

For the anniversary numbers, I stamped the 25 from the Balloon Number stamp set and finished them with glitter embossing powder for a subtle sparkle that makes them stand out perfectly.

The little bird was adhered to the bottom card base, inside the shaker element, while all the remaining images were attached to the top layer. Using foam tape, I adhered the top layer to the bottom layer, leaving enough space for the shaker elements to move freely inside.

Special Day Card with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a project that I made using the Special Day.

Cut a white topfold base card, added a piece of the Gingham Pastels paper on the front of the card. Cut a white scalloped rectangle using the Frilly Frames Hexagon dies. Cut a watercolor panel, inked it up using Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac. Splattered some water and cut it using the Quilted Hearts Landscape die. 

Cut a piece of wood grain kraft cardstock for the "floor" and added a white 1/4 inch strip to create a baseboard. Heat set the sentiment out of Monkey Business on a piece of purple cardstock and cut it using the Brilliant Banner 1 die. Added some white gel pen details to finish the banner of.

Penguin - N6, N4, N2 / E53, E51, E50, 0 / YR16, YR02, YR00 / R20
White - C5, C3, C1, C00, 0
Green - YG67, YG63, YG03
Purple - BV17, BV04, BV13, BV02
Brown - E44, E43, E41, E40

Cut the penguins out of Wedded Bliss and Passionate Penguins. Colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them with the Wedded Bliss die and my scissors. Cut the cake out of Special Day, colored it up and cut it using the Special Day dies. Added some gold touches to the cake and crown. Finished the card by adding different sizes of clear sequins.

Wedded Bliss Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here! Today I’m sharing a card featuring the Wedded Bliss Set! I started off by trimming a piece of red patterned paper, from the Classic Sunburst Paper to 5,5 x 4,25 inches, the sunburst patterned side up and adhered it to my A2 size card base.

Next, I ran two pieces of white cardstock and one piece of black cardstock through my die cutting machine using the largest of the Limitless Labels 1 Die. I ink blended one of the white pieces with turquoise ink, the other with green ink, for sky and grass. The black piece I adhered behind the turquoise piece as a shadow. As I wanted a festive feel for this bride & groom, I splattered gold watercolor on the turquoise panel!

For my hill/grass piece I used the Slimline Nature Borders Die. Next, I stamped the adorable penguins from the Wedded Bliss Stamps, the branches, leaves and flowers from the Love Birds Stamps using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on alcohol ink friendly card stock and used the coordinating Wedded Bliss Dies, and the Love Birds Dies, to die cut them out and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below.

I used the branches as trees for this card, and I glued the leaves and flowers to them! Next, I stamped the sentiment, from the Wedded Bliss Stamps set on my grass piece. I added foam dots to the grass piece so that I could easily tuck the bottom of my trees underneath.

I added foam dots to the upper half of the bride & groom and used liquid glue for the lower part and adhered them to the card. I glued the flowers directly on the grass and the hearts were popped up with foam dots. I adhered my sweet wedding scene to the sunburst patterned card base!

Wedded Bliss Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today with a sweet wedding card to share with you featuring these adorable penguins from the Wedded Bliss and Passionate Penguins sets. The guests are toasting the happy couple that opted for a warm, tropical destination wedding.

I stamped the penguins from the Wedded Bliss Stamps and Passionate Penguins Stamps, the extra tree from the Ocean View Stamps and the drinks from the Tiki Time Stamps sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Wedded Bliss Dies, Passionate Penguins Dies, Ocean View Dies and Tiki Time Dies to diecut them out. I also stamped the background image from the Ocean View Stamps onto another piece of Neenah White cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.

For the frame, I used the second largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Dies to diecut a window out of the center of a piece of white cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). The frame was adhered to the colored panel with foam tape.

Wishing You Wedded Bliss! For the sentiment, I diecut the Brilliant Banner 3 Dies out of white cardstock. I diecut the center part of the banner twice to layer for a bit of dimension. I stamped the sentiment from the Wedded Bliss Stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto one of the center part of the banner. I adhered the parts of the banner to each other with liquid adhesive and the entire banner to the frame with foam tape for extra dimension. 

The penguins were adhered to the panel with foam tape. Finally, the panel was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").

Wedded Bliss Card with Amanda

Hey crafty friends!! It’s Amanda here with you on the blog today and I’m excited to share this card I made for a couple that is getting married! Keep reading to see how I made this sweet little scene!

On a card panel trimmed to 4.25” x 5.5”, I created my background using Copic markers. I simply swiped my markers from side to side across the panel, blending from darker to lighter shades. I added some dark gray dots to the ground with the same color Copic markers. The white dots were added using a white Gelly Roll pen.

Next, I stamped the palm trees from the Beach Bus Stamps with black ink. I also stamped my sentiment from the Wedded Bliss Stamps to the background.

On a separate piece of white cardstock, I stamped the penguins from the Wedded Bliss Stamps, the bus and luggage from the Beach Bus Stamps, and the balloons and gifts from the Party Pets Stamps. I colored the stamped images in with Copic markers and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies. I added some white dots and highlights with my white Gelly Roll pen.

I added 3D foam squares behind all the images and then adhered them to the card front. Finally, I glued the card panel to an A2 card base.
