Candy Shoppe Sweet-Themed Cards With Mendi

Hello and welcome! This is Mendi here today, dropping in to share some sweet-themed cards for Summer using our Candy Shoppe Stamps.

I used the gumball machine and gumballs to take center stage for my first card showcasing the Candy Shoppe Stamps. I framed my images by creating a stitched window using our Stitched Arch Dies and then added stitching to either side of my 3.25" wide panel using the stitched edge die from our Ribbon & Lace Border Dies. I inked behind my window directly onto my card base (to reduce bulk and extra paper) using a light touch of Salty Ocean distress ink and then added strips of rainbow gingham patterned paper to either side from our Rainbow Bright Paper pack. It was such a simple card to create, but I love how it turned out! I'm always a sucker for bright, happy cards (no pun intended).

My second card pairs the lollipops, licorice, suckers, and wrapped candies from our Candy Shoppe Stamps with the kids from our Spring Showers Stamps. When my daughters were little, my husband would often bring them back these larger than life Chupa Chups Giant Lollipops as gifts when returning from business trips (which are wrapped to look like their famous lollipops, but really are just a plastic case holding normal sized Lollipops inside). With that sweet memory in mind, I thought it would be fun to pair these two stamp sets together, despite them not matching in scale at first glance.

I once again inked up a small section behind them, directly onto my white card base, before adhering the parade of kids to my scene. I then stamped the punny greeting from the set and added a row of wrapped candies from the set to form a border between the scene and the polka-dot print from our Rainbow Bright Paper pack.

Limitless Labels Die Focused Card with Tina

Hello crafters, it’s Tina and today I have a fun shaker card for you made with one of the nesting Limitless Labels dies combined with some yummy treats from the Candy Shoppe set.

My background panel was made from a sheet of beautiful grey paper (Subtle Grey Tones) since I knew I’d be selecting bright colors for the sweets.

To create the shaker I used the outside die from the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace dies and one of the Limitless Labels dies. Next, I adhered some clear acetate to the back of this panel using strong double-sided tape. Then, I build my shaker wall with foam tape and filled up the shaker with clear and pink sequins from my stash. To close this shaker, I cut a pink piece of the Striped Silly papers.

After stamping the gumball machine, gummi bears and other sweets I started coloring with my trusted Copic markers. I went with fun and happy colors! I stamped the sentiment from Heartfelt Wishes in pink ink on a white banner and adhered it to the bottom of my shaker card.

Next, I mounted the gumball machine and arranged the other sweets left and right. I love finishing a card with some embellishments and today I chose for the Crystal Clear Jewels since my project was so colorful.

Wicker Basket Die Focused Card with Isha

Hello everyone, Isha here with a fun and happy spring greeting card featuring the beautiful Wicker Basket die. I like that it was so easy to incorporate lots of older products with this die.

I started by sponging salty ocean distress oxide ink to create the background. Next I stamped the tiled floor from the Sprawling Surfaces stamp set, color using copic markers. Cut a strip and adhere to the panel. Next I die-cut two of the Mini Grass Border dies, sponged them with twisted citron and mowed lawn ink and adhere behind the tile floor. 

Die-cut the images from the Wicker Basket die, sponge various ink to add color. I then stamped some images to fill in the basket and to create the scene, color using copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies.

Assemble everything to create the scene. To finish I added some gems to the flower center.

Birthday Cat Card with Isha

Hello everyone! Isha here with a card featuring the Birthday Cat stamps and dies. This card is perfect for cat lovers, I know a few cat moms who will be happy to receive this. I didn't add the sentiment as then we can use it for any sort of celebration. 

To start I took a square card base and adhered the patterned paper from the Spring Fever pack. Next, die-cut the frame using the Fancy Frames - Squares dies. Adhere vellum behind the frame to mute the pattern.

Stamp the images, color and die-cut using coordinating dies:

Striped hat - Purrfect Birthday stamps and dies

To finish I added some details using white gel pen and then applied, nuvo clear shimmer to some of the images. Adhere the images to the card using various thickness of 3d foam.

Candy Shoppe Card with Tina

Hello crafty friends, it’s Tina with a sweet rocking card featuring one of my favorite stamps Candy Shoppe! Who doesn’t love all these sweet images and yummy treats! When you are like me and sometimes get intimidated by the creation of interactive cards, I have you covered! This moving card is super easy to make but totally fun and adorable.

All you need is two circle dies, I used the largest and the third largest from this infinity set. The biggest circle will be your card base, I cut it from a heavyweight white card stock, you want this to be sturdy. The other circle was made out of a pretty blue paper from the Gingham Pastel paper pad. Simply fold bold circles in half and reinforce the scoreline with your bone folder. Next, I glued both circles together with liquid glue.

The Candy Shoppe stamp set has a lot of adorable images, but my favorite is the little ice cream cone with the cute smiley face! I stamped and, die cut 5 of them and colored them in rainbow colors with my Copic markers. A little bit of Stickles glitter glue was added for a touch of sparkle! Next, I glued an extra die cut to the back of the images so they would look nice and clean from that side too.

For this design I knew I wanted to use the ‘sweet’ word that come with its own die in the Candy Shoppe die set. I really love that extra feature in the set! And I also wanted to add an extra sentiment strip. I stamped both with Versafine Onyx Black ink and adhered them to the blue panel leaving room at the top for the ice cones.  

Finally, I added the yummy treats putting some liquid glue on the back of the cones only.
