Speech Bubbles Extras Die Focused Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog and today I am sharing a fun birthday card featuring the Foxy Friends and the Speech Bubbles Extras Dies set. These foxy friends are ready to celebrate! So let’s get started.

I stamped the images from the Foxy Friends Stamp and some balloons from the Party Pets Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Foxy Friends Dies and Party Pets Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Foxes: YR21/24/27 E09, W00/1/3, W7, R000/30
Birds: Y11/13/15, R20
Pink: RV000/10/21/13/14
Yellow: Y11/13/15
Green: YG03/17

For the background, I took a piece of white cardstock (4.25” x 5.5”) and lightly ink blended some Spun Sugar and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide inks.I lightly ink blended another piece of white cardstock with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink. I used the grassy die from the Comic Strip Everyday Dies to diecut a strip for the ground. I used the dies from the same die set to also diecut some white clouds. The grass and clouds were adhered to the pink panel. 

For the sentiment, I used the Speech Bubbles Extras Dies set to diecut two speech bubbles out of white cardstock. I stamped the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from the Inside Greetings - Birthday Stamp set and the “From all of us” from the Inside Greetings - Holidays Stamp set onto the speech bubbles with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I used the larger frame die from the Icing Rectangle Frame Dies to diecut a frame out of white cardstock. (TIP: I found it helpful to save the negative from this diecut to help align and adhere the frame to the panel.) 

I adhered the icing frame to the panel with liquid glue. The colored images and speech bubbles were adhered to the panel with foam tape for additional dimension and interest. The card front was adhered to an A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5").

Speech Bubbles Extras Die Focused Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here! Today I have a fun rainbow card for you using the Speech Bubbles Extras Dies!

I started by stamping the cute hedgehogs, hearts, gift boxes and party hats from the Quill Cuties Stamp set and the wooden floor from the Sprawling Surfaces Stamp set on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below. I then die cut the images out using the coordinating Quill Cuties dies and trimmed the wooden floor piece to 1 x 5 inches.

Hedgehogs: W0/1/3/5/7, R00/30/32
Large gift box: BG01/02/05, RV52/55/66
Hearts: R22/35/37
Party hats: YG03/17, BG01/02 and RV52/55, YR04, Y17
Small gift boxes: Y15/17, BG01/02 and RV52/55 and YG03/17
Wooden floor: E21/23/25

Next, I trimmed a piece of white card stock to 5 x 3,75 inches, and ink blended a rainbow panel using pink, orange, yellow, green and turquoise ink. I then adhered my floor piece to the bottom of the panel.

Using three of the Speech Bubbles Extras Dies I ran them with the rainbow panel through my die cutting machine.  I then stamped my greetings from the Vintage Valentine Stamps, and the Quill Cuties Stamps set on the rainbow speech bubbles. I also die cut three extras of each of the speech bubbles from black card stock, and glued them all together for dimension.

I trimmed a piece of pink Polka-dot Parade Paper to 4,25 x 5,5 inches to cover my A2 size card base. Next, I trimmed a piece of black cardstock for a frame to go behind my rainbow panel and adhered them to the card base, using double sided tape.

To get a shadow effect, I placed the speech bubbles a little to the left and slightly up letting the black card stock underneath peek through. I added foam dots to the back of the hedgehogs and the gifts for dimension and adhered them to the card.

Speech Bubbles Extras Die Focused Card with Tina H

Hello crafters, it’s Tina sharing a super cool heroes card with you! I really went all out with the fun factor in this design! In my mind heroes and Speech Bubbles Extras Dies are a perfect match!

And of course, this card needed lots of bright colors too! Starting with a yellow card base and on top I added a second yellow layer (Frilly Frames Chevron, Gingham Pastels paper pad). Next, I cut three smaller background shapes from a softer yellow paper from my stash with one of the Rounded Rectangle Mat dies. I love how the fit is just perfect for this design!

Now drumroll please for our super heroes! The Super Duper set is one of my favourites and I had a lot of fun selecting and coloring these images with my copics. I used a lot of reds and blues, with some touches of yellow to tie in with the background.

After playing around with the placement, I could decide which shapes of Speech Bubbles Extras would be best for this card. As I am always in need of birthday cards, I selected a sentiment from the Super Duper set which worked really well size wise. I glued the three background panels in places and added the other elements with foam tape. Lastly, I sprinkled a few Sky Blue jewels to add the necessary bling.

Speech Bubbles Extras Die Focused Card with Yan

It’s Yan here! I’m excited to share a card featuring the Speech Bubbles Extras Dies from Spring release. These versatile little dies are perfect for adding subtle interest and dimension while keeping the design fresh and minimal.

First, I used pink and creamy cardstock along with a patterned sheet from Polka-dot Parade 6x6 Paper pack, then die-cut a variety of shapes using the Speech Bubbles Extras Dies to prepare the elements for the card.

Next, I stamped the hedgehog and a little telephone using the Quill Cuties Stamps and Vintage Valentine Stamps, then colored them with Copic markers. Once finished, I cut the images out with the coordinating Quill Cuties Dies and Vintage Valentine Dies, ready to layer onto the card.

For the background, I stamped the envelope image from the Vintage Valentine Stamps onto the card base using a soft gray ink to maintain a simple and understated look. Finally, I brought all the elements together using foam tape and glue, arranging them as shown in the photo to complete the card.

Loopy Rectangles Frame Die Focused Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here sharing a card featuring the new Loopy Rectangle Frame Dies!

For my card I used an A2 size card base, I started off by trimming a piece of the orange Classic Sunburst paper to 5,5 x 4,25 inches and adhered it to my card base.

Next, I stamped two hedgehogs from the Quill Cuties Stamp set, the phone from the Vintage Valentine Stamp set twice and four hearts from the same set on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below. I then die cut the images out using the coordinating Quill Cuties dies and Vintage Valentine dies.

Hedgehogs: W0/1/3/5/7, R00/30/32
Phones: V000, RV52/55
Hearts: RV52/55

Next, I die cut one of the Speech Bubbles from the Speech Bubbles Extras Dies twice. I ink blended one of them with pink ink and stamped my sentiment using words from the Vintage Valentine Stamp set, I then glued them together to make it sturdier! Next, I glued the hearts to the speech bubble.

Now on to the Loopy Rectangle Frame! I took a piece of dark pink cardstock from my stash and the largest of the Loopy Rectangle Frame Dies and ran it through my die cutting machine. Using liquid glue, I adhered it to the card base. Lastly, I added foam dots to back of the phones, hedgehogs and the speech bubble for dimension and adhered them to the card!

Speech Bubbles Extras Die Focused Card with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a card that I made using the Speech Bubble Extras Dies.

Cut a A2 size topfold basecard, cut a pink rectangle 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and glued that to the front of the card. Cut a white rectangle and a 3 3/4 x 5 inch watercolor rectangle. Inked up the watercolor panel using Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistashio, Dried Marigold, Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry.

Die cut the Sliding Window Dies out of it. Cut a slightly smaller water color panel and inked it up using the same colors as I used for the other panel. Glued the smaller panel behind the larger panel leaving the moving part free of glue. Added the white and mechanisme onto the card. 

Stamped the images from the Fabulous Flamingos and Tropical Scenes stamps. Colored them up using my Copic marker and cut them by hand and with the Tropical Scenes Dies.

Flamingo - RV13, RV42, R01, R00 / C5,C3,C1,0 / Y13, Y11
Green - YG67, YG63, YG03, YG01
Brown - E47, E44, E43, E42
Dark Green - G09, G07, G05
Pink - R85, R83, R81

Cut a strip of acetate, in the middle of the moving mechanisme i cut a slight cut and adhered the strip of acetate on the back of the mechanisme. Stamped the sentiment out of the Inside Greetings Friends Stamps using a pink ink and cut it using the Speech Bubbles Extras Dies. Adhered the speech bubble onto the top of the acetate strip.

Stamped the sentiments out of the Fabulous Flamingos Stamp on some pink cardstock and heat set them using a white embossing powder, cut one to a small banner and the other one I cut using my Scissors. Adhered these sentiments on the inside of the mechanisme so it would be the stopper.
