Designer's Choice: Foxy Friends Card with Tina

Hello crafters, it’s Tina and today I am making a fun birthday card with the cuties from the Foxy Friends stamp and die set.

My background was made from a green paper (Gingham Pastels), cut with both dies from Frilly Frames Stripes. This panel was then adhered to a white card base with liquid glue.

For the centerpiece I used two squares created from white card stock and layered on top of each other. To achieve this look, I selected two dies matching in size, one from Scalloped Square 1 Large dies, the other from the Stitched Square dies.

Before adding this combination to the background, I stamped the birthday sentiment (Happy Thoughts) with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I love that the large ‘Happy’ really stands out on the white square!

On to the difficult part, which was selecting two foxes from a whole bunch of cuties! (Foxy Friends stamp). I had already decided to use the big present from Holiday Hugs.
Yes, this is a holiday set, but many images including the adorable bear can be used for lots of occasions! It is really fun using your stash all year round!

For the coloring, I selected Copic markers in green and coral tones. They match the pattern paper background well. I added highlights with a gel pen and two little white pompoms to the party hats for extra fun!

Lastly, I mounted the images to the square panel with foam tape. As a final embellishment, I added a few Iridescent Clear Jewels. And that finishes this sweet birthday card!

Tulip Path Background Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today with an Easter card to share with you showcasing the beautiful Tulip Path Background Stamps. This gorgeous scene can be an easy backdrop for a variety of cards. 

I stamped the images from the Tulip Path Background Stamps set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Tulip Path Background Dies to die cut the bunnies and butterflies out. I colored them with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.

I used the largest die from the Stitched Square Dies to diecut the panel.

For the sentiment, I die cut the letters for EASTER using the Chloe Alphabet Dies 3 times out of white cardstock. I stacked and adhered the layers together. I took a strip of vellum (1.25" x 5.5") and stamped the Happy sentiment from the Inside Greetings Belated Birthday Stamps on it before adhering the word Easter onto it. I wrapped and folded the excess to the back of my colored panel.

I adhered a piece of craft foam to the back of the colored panel before adhering it to a piece of white cardstock and slightly larger green cardstock. The panels were adhered to a white 5.5" square cardbase. Finally, I adhered the bunnies and butterflies with foam tape for a bit of interest and dimension.

Cat Antics Card with Marine

Hello crafty friends, Marine here, I'm happy to be back with this colorful and festive birthday card showcasing a mix & match of recent and previously released items, including Cat Antics from the Spring 2025 release. I've created this card as a companion to the Party Pets slimline card I shared a few weeks ago, and I love how they're both different but compliment each other very well.

I started off by stamping the images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink. I cut them all using the coordinating dies, and colored everything using my Ohuhu markers and my Graph'it brush markers in a color palette I really love: pink, orange and yellow, with touches of brown. Here is a detailed list of the stamp sets I used: • Cat Antics - cats • Party Pets - balloons, party hats, presents • Holiday Express - train • Balloon Rides - banners.

Next I cut multiple stripes out of colored cardstock using a Ribbon & Lace Border die, and attached them all on a slightly smaller panel than the regular A2 size using liquid glue. I mixed copic opaque white ink with water and used a slim brush to add splatters to my stripe panel, and then did the same with fossilized amber distress spritz for a touch of gold. Once it was dry,  I stuck my stripe panel to a 5,5 x 4,25 inches white panel, and then the whole thing to a white card base.

I cut three squares out of different Gingham Pastels papers using the 1-1/2 inch Stitched Square die, attached those squares on the upper part of my card using 1mm foam squares, I stuck all the images using foam squares again, and then added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen.

For my sentiment, I cut a speech bubble out of vellum using a Comic Strip Speech Bubbles die, I gold heat embossed "Make A Wish" from Make A Wish on the vellum bubble, and attached it on my panel using transparent foam squares. To finish my card, I glued a scattering of mini star confetti to add even more cuteness and shine to my panel.

Designer's Choice: Snowmen in Sweaters Card with Tina

Hi crafty friends, Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones! Tina here and on this festive day we are creating a fun design for the holidays.

I selected three cuties from the Snowmen In Sweaters set and colored them with my Copics in vibrant colors that would match with my background element. As always, I added white details and snow with a gel pen.

My shaped base was made with the Gift Card Envelope die and a beautiful blue design paper from the Dots & Stripes Jewel Tones paper pack. I love the rich colors in this collection! The envelope is very easy to assemble with a few strips of thin double-sided tape.

Next, I selected one of the Stitched Square dies and cut it from white paper. This will be my background for the snowmen inside of the envelope. My sentiment was selected from the Reindeer Games set and stamped in a red ink from my stash onto a small white banner.

Then, I could start building the scene, by gluing the white square inside the envelope. Next, I added a piece of white card stock to the back of this ‘shaped card’ so I could write a message to the recipient. The snowmen were adhered with foam tape for dimension, they fill up the space nicely!

I mounted my sentiment banner and also a small white wreath (Distinctive Door Holiday Add-ons) with snowflake (Snowflake Circle Frame) at the top of the envelope. To match the red sentiment, I added a few Ruby Red Jewels.

Let's Chill Card with Nicky: Black Friday Exclusive!

Well hello there everyone, this is Nicky back with you today on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog and I'm sharing a new card featuring the delightful Let's Chill stamp set. This stamp set is a free with purchase 'treat' during the Black Friday sale and I refer you to the Sunny website for full details. Please read on for all the details of how I made this card.

I started by creating all of the panels that you see. I created the largest one with the patterned Spring Sunburst 6 x 6 Cardstock using the Stitched Square Dies and then a smaller die from the same set for the smaller square and then I die cut two little scalloped squares using the Scalloped Square 1 Large Dies.

I took the 3 white die cuts, masked off the edges and ink blended using Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink. I spattered the ink blending with some white acrylic paint loosened with a drop or two of water and then I carefully removed the masks. Each panel was backed with foam tape and applied to the patterned panel which was then glued to a slightly larger white card base. Lots of dimension here and I'm not done yet!

I stamped the beautiful sea lions from Let's Chill with black ink and coloured them using Copic markers in W4, W3, W1, W0, W00 and blushed their cheeks using R22, R21, R20 and R00.

I added foam tape to the back of each sea lion and adhered them into position, I stamped the sentiment on a little strip and added that with foam tape and I used 5 Iridescent Star Jewels to embellish this chilled scene.
