Sydney Alphabet Die Focused Card with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a card that I made using the Sydney Alphabet Dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sydney Alphabet Die Focused Baby Card by Marieke Slaats (featuring Foxy Friends, Little Birdie)

For my card I cut a A2 size side fold base card. Added a Kraft rectangle on to it. Cut a smaller white rectangle and a slightly smaller watercolor panel. Ink Blended some Cracked Pistashio and Peacock Feathers onto it and splattered some water.

Cut a strip of grass using a green card stock and ink blended it using Mowed Lawn. Out of the water color panel I diecut the heart. Glued the heart on the base card, the pouch on to the watercolor panel and filled it with shaker material.

Heat set the word "Welcome" out of the Baby Elephant stamp onto some kraft cardstock and die cut it to a banner. Die cut the baby's name out of white cardstock using Sydney Alphabet Dies and adhered them on to the heart pouch.

Used Copic Colors:
Fox - E09, YR27, YR24, YR23, YR21 / N6, N4, N2 / W3, W1, W00, 0 / R22, R20, R00

Baked With Love Card with Tina H

Hi there crafty friends, Tina here and I confess, I love cookies! That is why I was excited to make a card with the sweet Baked With Love stamp and die set. Now this set offers plenty of options for the cutest designs. Since I also adore critters, I definitely wanted to bring in an image from the Foxy Friends set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Baked With Love Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Frilly Frame Dies, Stitched Arch Dies, Sydney Alphabet Dies, Foxy Friends)

After creating a white rectangle card base, I cut a panel from a pink paper (Polka-Dot Parade) with the outer die of the Frilly Frames Stripes die. I have used these outer dies many times and I highly recommend having these staples in your stash. Next, I glued the panel to the base with liquid glue. For my scene, I cut a white Stitched Arch and dry embossed the piece with the Quilted Hearts folder. I also glued a strip of pink card stock near the bottom so I could add my scene later on.

I stamped all the cookies from the Baked With Love stamp and the rolling pin. As mentioned before, I also selected a cute fox (Foxy Friends set). I enjoyed coloring all these images in fun colors with my Copics and added some white sprinkles with my gel pen.

The hardest part of this project was figuring out the design, I had one fox and a whole lot of cookies! First, I decided that the fox would be sitting on the rolling pin. Next, I played around with stacking the cookies until I was happy with the lay-out.

This card needed a fun sentiment so I spelled out the word ‘Baked’ with the letters of the Sydney Alphabet. I love how well they match with the arched shape. To create that chipboard effect, I cut each letter three times and stacked them with liquid glue.

For the sub sentiment I found the perfect one in the Baking Spirits Bright set. Yes, that is a Christmas set, but I encourage you to keep using these stamps all year round where possible! I stamped the sentence on a white banner with Versafine Onyx Black ink and added foam tape to mount it to the card. A few Aquamarine Jewels were placed in the corners for some extra glam.

I can’t wait to see all the yummy projects you will make with this sweet set!! Thank you for joining me and happy crafting!

Baked With Love Card with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here and I am super excited to write my first Sunny Studio Stamps blog. Today I am featuring the Baked With Love stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Baked With Love Card by Janneke Peters (featuring Foxy Friends, Sprawling Surfaces)

I started to cut a card base out of a Striped Silly Pattern Paper and I blended the top of this card base  with a slightly darker shade of ink. Next I stamped a floor using the wooden floor stamp from Sprawling Surfaces, and inked the floor brown. I also cut a white strip from white cardstock, as a baseboard above the floor, and glued it together with the wooden floor onto the pattern paper.

Now it was time to add the stamps on the card. First I stamped the Baked With Love set and I thought the Foxy Friends would be perfect as little bakers. As often I first started stamping and cutting a couple of images and kept moving them around on the cards base until I liked the scene I had created.

I colored the images with my Ohuhu markers, added highlights to the images using a white gel pen and  I glued them onto the card. I stamped the "I Love You Dough Much" sentiment on an inked strip of paper and added it onto the card too and stuck the panel to a white card base.

Card done, ready to send joy! Thanks for joining me, and see you next week.

After all the coloring was complete, I added some white highlights and dots using a white Gelly Roll pen. Then, I cut out the images using the coordinating die sets and my die cutting machine. I put 3D foam squares behind all of the images and then added them to my background scene. Foxy Friends Card with Tina

Hi there crafty friends, Tina here and today we are creating a sweet Autumn card with the adorable Foxy Friends stamp and die set. There are many cute images in this set so it was hard to select just three of them.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Foxy Friends & Pretty Pumpkins Autumn Themed Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Limitless Labels Dies, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Rounded Retangle Mat Dies)

Although I wanted to reflect that fall vibe, I still kept the card light by using a large white panel. This piece was dry embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder which is perfect for these autumnal cards. I love layering shapes to create dimension so next, I cut the wood panel with the largest die in the Limitless Labels 1 set and splattered it with yellow and brown inks.

Then I browsed in my stash of pattern papers and I chose a fun polka dot sheet (Critter Country) which I ran through the die cut machine with the largest of the Rounded Rectangle Mat dies. I glued both pieces together and added them to a slightly smaller white card base. I colored the cute foxes (Foxy Friends stamp) with my Copics and added white highlights with a gel pen.

Then it was time to stamp three pumpkins using the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set. I went with sizes that would work well together and used several Distress Oxide inks in yellow, brown, orange and teal colors.

Before assembling the scene, I stamped the sentiment from the Autumn Greetings set with a teal ink from my stash. This font was the perfect fit for my scene! I used a mix of foam tape and liquid glue to adhere the images to my card panel. Lastly, I added a few Champagne Clear Jewels since I had already brought so much color into this design.

And that finishes my card, I hope you are having fun creating your Autumn projects! Thank you for joining me and happy crafting!

Foxy Friends Card with Tina

Hi crafty friends, Tina here with some happy vibes for you! As you know I love cute critters and there are many of those in the sweet Foxy Friends stamp and die set! But I did manage to choose three of them!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Foxy Friends Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Window Trio Square Dies, Frilly Frames Chevron Dies)

To start this project, I die cut a panel from a bright green dotted paper (Polka-dot Parade) with the outer die from Frilly Frames Chevron.

I love creating mini scenes and the Window Trio Square die is perfect for that! You instantly get three frames on which you can build a lay-out! No measuring or guess work needed to get the frames aligned straight. This die does all the work for you! After backing the green panel with a white piece of card stock I glued both to a white card base.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Foxy Friends Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Window Trio Square Dies, Frilly Frames Chevron Dies)

For this card I wanted the little foxes to have fun while doing some gardening (one of my hobbies too!). So, I selected three cuties, a few plants, a watering can and a wagon from the Foxy Friends stamp set.

As usual I did all the coloring with my Copic markers. Then I played around with the images and composed a mini scene for each of the three frames. I adhered the stamped pieces to the panel with foam tape.

For the sentiment I combined the ‘Sending Happy Vibes’ phrase (Panda Party) and stamped it onto a white banner with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Next, I glued this banner between the frames, near the bottom part of the card. To finish this project, I sprinkled some Champagne Clear jewels to fill in the scenes.

Thank you so much, I appreciate you being here. Happy crafting!
