Majestic Meadows Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here! Today I’m sharing a card featuring the Majestic Meadow Stamps! This is a great background stamp with which you can create beautiful scenery! I added some foxes and birds as well!

I started off by trimming a piece of pink patterned paper, the floral-patterned side up from the Flirty Flowers Paper to 5,5 x 4,25 inches and adhered it to my A2 size card base.

I then trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 5 x 3,75 inches and ink blended the panel using turquoise ink for the sky. I then trimmed a slightly larger black panel to go behind my ink blended panel and adhered them to the card base, using double sided tape.

Next, I stamped the Majestic Meadow scenery and a couple of clouds from the Majestic Meadow Stamps, foxes and birds from the Foxy Friends Stamps, the butterfly from the Spring Scenes Stamps and the flowers from the Love Birds Stamps using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on alcohol ink friendly card stock and used the coordinating Majestic Meadow Dies, the Foxy Friends Dies, the Spring Scenes Dies and the Love Birds Dies to die cut them out and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below.

Green: G46, YG03/17

Clouds: BG10/11/13

I used a gel pen in color gold to the center of the flowers! I then trimmed the majestic meadow scenery to fit my 5 x 3,75 inches panel and adhered it and the clouds using liquid glue. Next, I stamped the greeting, from the Inside Greetings Friends Stamps set.

I added foam dots to the back of the foxes, butterfly and the birds for dimension and adhered them to the card, and to finish the card off I applied a little glitter to the butterfly using Distress Rock Candy, and Distress Matte medium for glue.

Afternoon Tea Card with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. Today I’m sharing a cozy card featuring the Aftenoon Tea stamp set.  

This time I created a fun little scene card using the masking technique, although you could absolutely recreate this scene with the coordinating dies as well. Before I started stamping, I placed all the stamps onto the card panel first to get an idea of where I wanted everything to go.

When stamping, I carefully paid attention to the stamping order, because honestly, that still goes wrong for me sometimes. For this card I used the Afternoon Tea and the Foxy Friends stamp sets.

Once the images were finished, I started working on the background. First, I stamped the floor using the Sprawling Surfaces stamp and brown ink. Originally, I made the rest of the background completely grey, but I felt it looked a little too plain. So I decided to stamp the Background Basic 2 stamp over it using the same grey ink. I absolutely love how subtle, yet playful, the background turned out.

After finishing the background, I removed all the masking paper and colored the images with my Ohuhu markers. I also added some extra shading on the floor using a brown marker to create more depth and dimension.

To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Afternoon Tea stamp set and added a few highlights with a white gel pen. Finally, I mounted the colored card onto blue cardstock and adhered everything to a white card base.

The Graduate Card with Yan

Hello all, Yan here! Today I'm sharing a fun graduation-themed card featuring the adorable The Graduate Stamps. This project combines playful images, soft pastel colors, and layered details to create a cheerful design perfect for celebrating a special milestone. 

To begin, stamp the fox images from the Foxy Friends Stamps onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Color the images with Copic markers, then use the coordinating Foxy Friends Dies to cut them out neatly.

COPIC COLOR:
Fox : E31, E35, E41, R30, YR000, YR61
Mortarboard : W1, W4, Y02, Y19

Next, create the background using the Balloon Stencil from Lawn Fawn and blend several pastel Distress Oxide colors onto another piece of white cardstock. Once the ink blending was finished, I used the Just Stitching Double Rectangles from Lawn Fawn to add a subtle stitched detail that complements the fun graduation theme. Then I heat-embossed the sentiment directly onto the background to add a bold, polished finishing touch. 

Finally, I assembled all the elements with foam tape to add a bit of dimension and bring the whole design together, completing the card as shown in the photo.

The Graduate Card with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a project that I made using The Graduate.

For my card I thought it would be funny to create a chalkboard kinda look. So I cut a white topfold base card. Cut a 3 x 5 1/2 inch black piece of cardstock and stamped the large sentiment out of The Graduate stamp on to it. Adhered the black piece of cardstock on the base card and trimmed a strip of Kraft cardstock, glued that under the black piece.

Heat set the numbers out of the Balloon Numbers stamps using a gold embossing powder. Die cut the numbers using the matching Balloon Numbers dies. Adhered them on the base and added some gold stars and confetti. To finish the chalkboard look, I added some anti static powder around the sentiment.

Stamped all the images out of Foxy Friends and The Graduate, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Foxy Friends and The Graduate dies.
