Speech Bubbles Extras Die Focused Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog and today I am sharing a fun birthday card featuring the Foxy Friends and the Speech Bubbles Extras Dies set. These foxy friends are ready to celebrate! So let’s get started.

I stamped the images from the Foxy Friends Stamp and some balloons from the Party Pets Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Foxy Friends Dies and Party Pets Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Foxes: YR21/24/27 E09, W00/1/3, W7, R000/30
Birds: Y11/13/15, R20
Pink: RV000/10/21/13/14
Yellow: Y11/13/15
Green: YG03/17

For the background, I took a piece of white cardstock (4.25” x 5.5”) and lightly ink blended some Spun Sugar and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide inks.I lightly ink blended another piece of white cardstock with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink. I used the grassy die from the Comic Strip Everyday Dies to diecut a strip for the ground. I used the dies from the same die set to also diecut some white clouds. The grass and clouds were adhered to the pink panel. 

For the sentiment, I used the Speech Bubbles Extras Dies set to diecut two speech bubbles out of white cardstock. I stamped the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from the Inside Greetings - Birthday Stamp set and the “From all of us” from the Inside Greetings - Holidays Stamp set onto the speech bubbles with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I used the larger frame die from the Icing Rectangle Frame Dies to diecut a frame out of white cardstock. (TIP: I found it helpful to save the negative from this diecut to help align and adhere the frame to the panel.) 

I adhered the icing frame to the panel with liquid glue. The colored images and speech bubbles were adhered to the panel with foam tape for additional dimension and interest. The card front was adhered to an A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5").

Inside Greetings Friends Card with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a card that I made using the Inside Greetings Friends Stamp.

Cut a white top fold card, cut a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch watercolor panel and ink it up using Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick. Splattered some water and Picked Raspberry and die cut the Window Quad Square Dies out of the top part of the panel. Adhered the panel onto the card using foam tape. Adhered the small squares directly on the card to create some depth.

Die cut two green grass borders and added some Mowed Lawn on to them. Heat set the sentiment out of Inside Greetings Friends Stamp. Die cut the word "Friend" out of white cardstock using the Chloe Alphabet Dies and adhered all the elements onto the card.

Stamped all the images out of Foxy Friends, colored them up and cut them using the matching Foxy Friends Dies. Adhered the images together and onto the card.

Sydney Alphabet Die Focused Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog and today I am sharing a fun card featuring the Foxy Friends, Baked with Love and Sydney Alphabet Dies set. These foxy friends are having the best time baking up a batch of cookies. I thought it would be fun to use the Sydney Alphabet Dies to create a punny sentiment for the scene. So let’s get started.

I stamped the images from the Foxy Friends Stamp and Baked with Love Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Foxy Friends Dies and Baked with Love Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

BAKE letters: RV13

I used the Sydney Alphabet Dies to diecut the BAKE letters 2 times out of white cardstock. In an effort to get the perfect color match, I colored one set of the letters with the sane Copic marker that I used for the colored images. I layered and adhered the colored letters to the set of white letters. 

For the layout, I used the Comic Strip Everyday Dies to diecut the panel 3 times out of white cardstock. I used all 3 of the frames but only one set of the inside parts of the panels. I stacked and adhered the 3 frames to each other and then to the front of a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5”). I lightly ink blended the edges of the inside parts of the panels with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink.

For the sentiment, I used my colored images and BAKE letters to roughly layout my design on the center inked panel. I adhered the BAKE to the panel with liquid glue. Then I stamped the “you”, “make” and “happy” words from the Build-a-Greeting Holidays Stamp set directly onto the panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. NOTE: I created my own “me” word by masking off the final letters of the “merry” word on the stamp, inking the stamp, removing the masking and then stamping onto the panel. 

The little inked panels were adhered into the stacked frame on the card front. Finally, I adhered the colored images with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest.

Inside Greetings Friends Cards with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here and today I am excited to share these adorable friendship cards featuring the Inside Greetings Friends stamp set.

For this card project, I started by die-cutting 6x the Scalloped Square 1 Small from white cardstock, three of which I turned into grassy borders using our Slimline Nature Border dies. I decided to make three different colored cards, blending the insides of the scalloped squares with pastel blue, pink, and green Distress Oxide inks. For the grass borders, I also blended only the inside with green ink. I masked off the edges to achieve this, but honestly, it would be even easier to use Stitched Square Dies and stick them on top (I’ve already added them to my Wishlist!).

Next, I stamped the Inside Greetings Friends sentiment in a shade slightly darker than the background color, then stamped it again 1mm below in black ink to create a little depth.

I layered the grass borders onto the blended scalloped squares, tucking in some flowers from the Bunnyville stamp set behind the grass. From the Gingham Pastels paper, I cut squares slightly larger than the scalloped ones and rounded the corners with a punch before adhering the scalloped squares on top.

For each card, I chose a different cute critter:

On the blue card, the bunnies from Bunnyville stamp set and the Balloon Numbers stamp set, on the pink card, the sweet penguins from the Passionate Penguins stamp set and  on the green card, the adorable foxes from the Foxy Friends stamp set.

Lastly I added the butterflies also from the Bunnyville stamp set and the heart lollipop from the Bighearted Bears stamp set to each card. After coloring all the stamps with Ohuhu markers and adding highlights with a white gel pen, I adhered them onto the card bases and I mounted everything onto white cardstock bases, rounding the corners to match.
