Outback Critters Card with Tina

Hi crafty friends, Tina here and I am super excited to create a fun birthday card featuring the Outback Critters stamp and die set! How sweet are these cuties! I love critters and these ones are just the best (that baby!)

The Blooming Frame die combined with a green paper from Flirty Flowers is the perfect background to set the scene for these animals. I glued this piece to a white card base to create a light and airy effect.

After selecting 5 cute images (Outback Critters stamp) I started coloring with my trusty Copics. I used extra vibrant colors for the parrots since the other images were merely in brown tones. To add even more contrast, I cut the large Wishes Word die three times from white card stock but added a red ombre with my markers.

Next, I stamped the ‘Warmest’ sentiment (Words Of Gratitude) onto the background panel with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I played around with placement of the animals until I was happy with the result. After adding a few Champagne clear Jewels this sweet project was ready!

Outback Critters Cards with Anja and Vanessa

Hello everyone, Anja here with you today. Instead of creating an Australia themed card with the Outback Critters Stamps, I thought it would be fun to use the sweet kangaroo image for a birthday. I combined it with the balloon bouquet from the Floating By set.

I started off with a lemon yellow A2 card base and cut the Frilly Frames Retro Petals Dies from white heavyweight cardstock. I left all the petal pieces inside of the die-cut and adhered the whole panel to a piece of fun foam. The white-on-white pattern in the background creates a bit of interest without appearing too busy.

Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating die to cut out the mama kangaroo with her cute baby. For the balloons and strings, I did partial die cutting as well as a little fussy cutting with scissors. I adhered the balloons behind the kangaroo image which I popped up with foam tape.

I cut the word 'happy' included in the Blooming Frame Die set three times from light aqua cardstock. Then I stacked the die-cuts on top of each other to make them more dimensional and sturdy. The word 'birthday' from the Prancing Pegasus stamp set was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a small purple cardstock strip and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Finally, I adhered the sentiment and added two enamel hearts as embellishments.

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a fun birthday card using the Outback Critters set. I decided to concentrate on the cute koalas:

I first inked the front of a white card base with Cracked Pistachio and Pine Needles Distress Oxide Inks and added ink droplets. Now I inked another panel with the same colors and die-cut the letters from it. After I had spelled the Happy Birthday on the card, I stamped the images onto white cardstock.

Here comes a list of the products used today:

Chloe Alphabet Dies

Then I colored the elements with Copic markers, die-cut the pieces with the matching dies and adhered everything to the card, raising some parts with foam tape.

Poppy Fields Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a pastel birthday card using the beautiful Poppy Fields set. Although I love the classic red poppies, I decided to go with iceland poppies for my card:

First, I trimmed a panel of vellum slightly smaller than my white card base and die-cut the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace from it. After I had adhered it to the card, I stamped all the poppies, die-cut them with the matching dies and adhered them to the card with foam tape.

These sets were used for today's card:

I used the following inks for my flowers:
Pink: Distress Ink Spun Sugar + Kitsch Flamingo + Picked Raspberry, MFT Cotton Candy
Yellow: Hero Arts Soft Yellow + Butter Bar, MFT Sunshine, Distress Ink Squeezed Lemonade
Orange: Hero Arts Soft Yellow + Soft Apricot, Distress Ink Dried Marigold, Memento Morocco

Now I die-cut the happy birthday from white cardstock and adhered it before finishing the card off with clear jewels.

Hi everyone, Anja here. Poppies are some of my favorite flowers, so I was excited to create a card with the Poppy Fields Stamps.

I started with an A2 card base and trimmed the gingham patterned paper from the Subtle Grey Tones 6x6 Paper pack to the same size. I then cut one of the Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies from white cardstock and adhered it with foam strips.

Next, I stamped the layered poppies, leaves as well as the tiny ladybug from the Layered Basket set using dye inks (you can find the ink colors below). I used the coordinating dies to cut all the pieces out and arranged them on my card. I added a grass border (Picket Fence Die) at the bottom which I die cut from green grid paper (Gingham Jewel Tones Paper).

Dye Inks used:
Poppies: Altenew Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss, Crimson, Vineyard Berry, Grapevine; Simon Says Stamp Stone, Cobblestone; Leaves: Altenew Just Green, Hunter Green; Stems: Altenew Just Green; Ladybug: Altenew Heart Beat

Black details: VersaFine Onyx Black Ink

I die cut the words 'for you' included in the Gift Card Pocked Die set from black cardstock and double heat embossed them with clear embossing powder for a glossy look. To finish off my card, I adhered three Crystal Clear Jewels.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Beach Buddies & Outback Critter Cards with Karin Åkesdotter

Hi Everyone! I'm Karin Åkesdotter from Peppermint Patty’s Papercraft and I am so excited to be here to share some cards that I've created with Sunny Studio Stamp’s summer release!

For my first card I Made a card base from turquoise cardstock and then die cut a panel from white cardstock that I inked using distress ink to create the beach/sky bg. I stamped my sentiment and then die cut the word "Sunshine" using the new super cool Chloe Alphabet dies. I colored them in bright sun-yellow, covered them in glitter and added glossy accent on top for a shiny 3d effect. Then stamped colored and fussy cut the images from Beach Buddies.

The adorable kangaroo from Outback Critters is perfect for a sweet Welcome Baby card. I love that the cool Chloe Alphabet dies becomes quite elegant when cut from gold cardstock! I used the Frilly Frame Eyelet Lace die to create the soft and lovely background for the card.

The Outback Critters and fun Chloe Alphabet dies added on top of a Blooming Frame die cut background cover cut from green cardstock creates such a fast but very cute and fun card. I used Copic markers for my coloring. The stamped sentiments make the card complete.

Last but not least I have a super fast and easy card design. First I made a card base made from Acetate. I then die cut Frilly Frame Eyelet Lace from white cardstock and ran it through my Xyron creative station to get adhesive on the back and then adhered it to the base. I stamped, masked and stamped again and then colored and fussy cut the cute images from Beach Buddies before adhering them to my card with foam adhesive.

Snail Mail Friendship Valentine's Day Card with Mendi

Hello there!  I hope you've been enjoying a wonderful weekend so far!  I just wanted to pop in with another card using our new Snail Mail Stamps and dies that would be perfect for sending a friend this Valentine's Day.

I had colored and cut out all these pieces to create this card prior to our sneak peek week, but in the frenzy of my cardmaking they were buried and lost under a large pile on my desk. When I was tidying things up a bit I came across them, along with some other pieces sitting on my desk and thought it would be fun to take a creative break from the rest of my "to do" list and create this little card.

I paired the images from the Snail Mail set with our Blooming Frames Dies, inking behind it with some Worn Lipstick Distress ink using my Jumbo Dauber. I then colored a separate cardstock panel with some Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron distress ink and topped it with our Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies which perfectly layer for this petal frame die-cut.
