Radiating Circles Die Focused Card with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. Today I’m sharing this Easter infinity shaker card featuring the new Radiating Circles dies.  

For this card, I started by die-cutting the background from purple cardstock, blending the edges with a slightly darker purple ink and then I splattered white gouache paint over it. While the background was drying, I die-cut the largest Radiating Circle twice from white cardstock. On one of them, I stamped the Big Bunny, making sure the stripes from the Radiating Circle were visible at the bottom, before I die-cut it with the matching die.

I dressed up the bunny with its matching basket, added two bows on the ears, and included two chickens from the Foxy Friends stamp set. For the background, I stamped flowers from the Spring Garland set and colored all the stamps with my Ohuhu markers.

Next came assembling the card. I adhered a plastic pocket around the purple background and filled it with shaker material. After placing the circle on top, I felt the bottom needed a little extra, so I cut a thin strip of white cardstock and die-cut the bow from the Wicker Basket dies, then blended it and the background circle with a soft salmon-colored ink.

Finally, I adhered everything onto the card base and added highlights with a white gel pen for that finishing touch.

Spring Garland Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today and I have a sweet Easter card to share with you featuring the new Spring Garland set. This beautiful set can be used just about any time of the year for birthday and just because cards. Today I have paired these gorgeous blooms with the Big Bunny set for the upcoming Easter season. So let’s get started.

I stamped the images from the Spring Garland Stamp and the bunny from the Big Bunny Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the coordinating Spring Garland Dies and Big Bunny Dies to die cut them out. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

For the sentiment, I stamped the “Easter” and “Greetings” sentiments from the Big Bunny Stamp set with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink onto a piece of white cardstock used the Big Bunny Dies to die cut them out.

For the background, I used the Frilly Frames Polka-Dot Dies to die cut a panel out of a white cardstock. I masked off the edges and lightly ink blended Saltwater Taffy and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks. A piece of craft foam was adhered to the back of the panel before it was adhered to a piece of pink cardstock. I adhered the colored images and sentiment to the panel with foam tape for dimension and interest. The card front was adhered to an A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5").

Loopy Rectangles Frame Die Focused Card with Tina H

Hi there crafty friends, Tina here and this time I made a sweet Easter card for you! The base of my design was the amazing Loopy Rectangles die set.

I used the largest die and cut it from white card stock. To keep the inner and the outer piece together I used Press ‘N Seal and that worked so well for me. 

For Easter, I love to use softer pastel colors, hence the light yellow card base. With the Press ‘N Seal over both die cuts, I added liquid glue to the back of the pieces, flipped them around and glued them to my card base. After browsing through my stash I discovered that one of the larger Rounded Rectangle Mat dies was the perfect fit for this design. I love to mix and match sets and get the most out of my products.

For this panel I selected a blue dotted paper from the Polka-dot Parade pack. While I had the die out, I made two extra layers, one from white card stock and one from the same yellow paper as my base. I trimmed both pieces to size and added a sweet border to the white panel (Ribbon & Lace Borders). 

But the star of the show is one of my all-time favourites, the sweetest bunny ever (Big Bunny)! I have used this set many times but this cutie always makes me smile! I colored her in soft grey Copic colors, with yellow and pink accents for the bow and letter. I have to mention that I masked of the little heart that is on the letter stamp so I could add the ‘Easter’ part of my greeting (Big Bunny).

The rest of the sentiment was stamped and die cut to fit the white border. I did stack this piece three times to get the chipboard effect. After mounting the adorable bunny with foam tape, I sprinkled a few Champagne Clear Jewels to finish this card. I love how the Loopy Rectangles add to the playfulness of this card!

Loopy Rectangle Frame Die Focused Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today and I have a fun card featuring the new Loopy Rectangle Frames. The loopy frame reminded me of the classic phone cord and matched perfectly with the Vintage Valentine set. I thought it would be fun to create a trifold card for this Holiday Hugs bear say Hello to a Big Bunny friend. So, let’s get started.

I stamped the bear from the Holiday Hugs Stamp, bunny from the Big Bunny Stamp and phones from the Vintage Valentine Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the Holiday Hugs Dies, Big Bunny Dies and Vintage Valentine Dies to die cut them out. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

I used the Loopy Rectangle Frame Dies to die cut two small loopy frames and one large label frame out of red and white cardstock. I saved the white frames for another project and only used the center panels as a background for this card. I also used the same Loopy Rectangle Frame die to trim the bottom edge of the bear and bunny images. 

For the sentiments, I used the new Speech Bubbles Extras Dies to die cut a speech bubble out of blue cardstock. I stamped the “Just ringing to say” sentiment from the Vintage Valentine Stamp set onto the speech bubble with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I added the dots with a pen. Next, I used the new Sydney Alphabet Dies to die cut the HELLO twice out of red cardstock. I layered and adhered them to each other and then onto the white label die cut with liquid glue. 

For the Z-fold trifold card base, I used two side-folding A2 card bases. I placed one with the inside facing downward (like a mountain) and one with the inside facing upward (like a valley) and adhered them to each other. I adhered a blue and a pink piece of cardstock (4” x 5.25”) to each of the end panels. 

I adhered used foam tape to adhere the panel and speech bubble to the front blue panel for some dimension. I used liquid glue to adhere the HELLO label to the center panel and the bunny to the last pink panel for a slimmer profile.
