Snowman Kisses Cards with Waleska and Marine

Hi Friends, Waleska here with you! Today I want to share a card I created with the super cute Snowman Kisses stamp set, I am very happy to start this month sharing more Christmas inspiration with you!

This time I wanted to create a snowy scene for this two friends, I started by choosing a background cardstock from the All is Bright 6 x 6 paper pad. I then cut the snow hills and I added sparkle chunky glitter to add more interest to this two pieces. I decided what images I wanted to use for my scene and colored them with Spectrum Noir Tri-blend brush markers, I used Dark Red blend and Alpine Green blend to color the snowmen and the trees.

I finally stamped the sentiment at the bottom of my card and the Here Comes Santa with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and I also added the snowflakes in the sky.

Hello crafty friends! Marine here with you today, I'm thrilled to be back on the blog with this super bright winter shaker card showcasing the ever so cute Snowman Kisses stamp set. I love those little dudes, when I saw them I immediately pictured them with rainbow colors, it suits them so beautifully! And I really wanted them to be the stars of the show so I didn't use a whole lot of additional supplies, just the banner from Balloon Rides, and the tree from Holiday Express.

I started by coloring the four snowmen from the set using my alcohol markers with light aqua shades on their bodies to create a frozen look, and rainbow colors on their outfits.

Next I created the shaker panel. I first cut a frame out of a Rainbow Bright pattern paper using the main die from the Comic Strip Everyday die set. I attached a piece of acetate at the back of that frame, and still at the back of the frame, I added foam strips on the four edges and slim parts. I poured shaker accessories inside each window: some Snowflake confetti, and a bunch of iridescent confetti. And to close my shaker panel, I first attached a vellum panel, and then another Rainbow Bright panel.

I cut another Comic Strip Everyday panel out of white cardstock, but kept the inside pieces only to create small snow borders, I stamped my "Warm wishes & snowman kisses" greeting from Snowman Kisses on one of those snow borders, and then attached them at the bottom of each window on the shaker panel. Next I stuck the images on the shaker panel using foam squares, and finished my card by adding white highlights and details to the images.

Pumpkin Patch Die Focused Cards with Waleska and Marine

Hi Friends, Waleska here. My card for this week features one of my new favorite pumpkin dies, the Pumpkin Patch Dies, they are so fun and you can make them with or without dimension I just love them!

I started die cutting the pieces to create this beautiful pumpkins with white cardstock, I wanted to ink them with Oxide Inks.  For the leaves and stem I used green colored cardstock.  I used Ripe Persimmon and Carved Pumpkin Oxide inks to add color and dimension to the pumpkins. I used 3D Foam tape to elevate some parts too.

For the background I used Salvaged Patina Oxide Ink mixed with water with a smooshing technique on Watercolor paper.  I cut the biggest frame from the Fancy Frame Rectangles  with kraft cardstock and adhere it to the front panel.  I assemble the pumpkins in the center of my card and finally I added this panel to an orange card base.

Hey crafty friends, Marine here, thank you so much for stopping by! I'm back today with two cards, both showcasing the brand new Pumpkin Patch die set from the Fall & Winter 2022 collection. I couldn't decide if I wanted to create an autumn card or a Halloween card, so I decided to make both, using die cut pieces only.

I started by cutting all the pieces I needed to create both cards. And I knew that I wanted to use my alcohol markers to color all those bits and pieces, so I cut everything out of the same paper I always use to color my images. Besides the Pumpkin Patch die set, here are the sets I picked the different dies from:

Comic Strip Everyday: clouds, sun/moon, tree trunks, foliage
Picket Fence Border: grass border & fence
Tropical Trees Backdrop: crows/bats

For the autumn card I went with traditional pumpkins using two shades of orange, I also colored some sunflowers, leaves and swirling stems, a sun and a few clouds, some colorful trees and some birds to be crows.

And for the Halloween card I went with spooky pumpkins using two shades of purple. The sunflowers turned into bright pink flowers, I didn't add any foliage on the trees, the sun turned into the moon and the birds into bats.

Once everything was colored, I created a background for each card. I cut two 5,5 x 4,25" bristol panels, as well as two grass borders using a die from the Picket Fence Border die set. For the autumn card I went with a turquoise sky using tumbled glass & peacock feathers oxide inks, and a khaki green grass border using shabby shutters & peeled paint oxide inks. And for the Halloween card, I went with dark blue shades for the sky using blueprint sketch, chipped sapphire & black soot oxide inks, and a dark green grass border using mowed lawn & rustic wilderness oxide inks.

Before assembling the cards, I white heat embossed a sentiment at the bottom of each grass border: "Hello autumn" from Fall Kiddos for the autumn card, and "Trick or treat" from Bewitching for the Halloween card. And next I attached the different elements on each panel, starting with the grass borders, and then all the bits and pieces using a combination of foam squares, glue dots & liquid glue.

Designer's Choice Cards with Vanessa and Audrey

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a fun baby explosion box mini album using the Baby Elephants set.

This box was created with an explosion box board. I created the bases from white and purple cardstock and added various pieces of patterned paper. With an envelope punch board I created matching envelopes, with the Gift Card Pocket Die little pockets for the tags. The lid is a shaker window filled with sequins and clay elements.

Hello friends! Audrey here with a fun gnome themed card to share with you! If you have fallen in love with this adorable stamp set and want to add it to your collection, don't delay! This set is retiring, but still in stock, and as soon as it's sold out, it's gone for good. Get yours while you can! :)

To create my card, I started off with a piece of white cardstock cut to 4" x5.25". I cut a piece of computer paper the same size, and die cut a rectangle from the center, creating a stencil or mask of sorts. I taped them together and used Distress ink in Blueprint Sketch (very lightly) and Rustic Wilderness to ink blend a background for the scene. 

Then, I stamped and colored the mushroom trio, two polka dot mushrooms, and the super cute sitting gnome from Home Sweet Gnome, all of which I cut out with the coordinating Home Sweet Gnome dies. I arranged them on the ink blended rectangle, gluing some down with liquid and popping others up with foam tape. I added a trio of tiny clouds to the sky using the Comic Strip Everyday die set, and scattered on some tiny clay hearts above the little gnome's head.

Then, I stamped a sentiment from the set on a white banner die cut, and popped that up in the grass on my scene. The entire panel was adhered to an A2 card base with foam tape, and to finish off the card, I added a few white gel pen accents.

Tropical Trees Backdrop Die Focused Cards with Vanessa and Audrey

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a summer card combining the Tropical Trees Backdrop dies with various sets.

I trimmed a panel of white cardstock slightly smaller than the card base. Now I used the Swimming Pool Die to trim off the edge of the water. I inked the bottom part with Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide ink to create the beach, masking off the sky with masking paper I cut with the Slimline Nature Borders Dies and inked the top part with Tumbled Glass ink. Now I inked a smaller panel with the blue ink, too and adhered it behind the beach panel and onto the card. I stamped the images and die-cut the palm tree, colored everything with Copic markers, die-cut the images with the matching dies and adhered all elements to the card. 

Again, I used a variety of sets:

Now I die-cut the letters, inked them with the same ink I used for the water, matted them with black letters to create a shadow and adhered them. After I had die-cut and added the clouds, I finally stamped the rest of the sentiment.

Hello friends! Audrey here with a tropical nighttime scene to share with you!

I started off by inking a piece of white cardstock cut to 4.25" x 5.5" with Distress inks in Villainous Potion, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Carved Pumpkin, then I splattered with some clean water and some metallic watercolor to add some extra interest. I die cut the Tropical Trees Backdrop and a trio of palm trees and clouds from black cardstock and glued everything down with a glue pen. I added a tiny car from the Comic Strip Everyday die set, which coordinates perfectly with a sentiment from the Country Carnival stamp set. 

To finish off the night sky, I added a scattering of white starts die cut using the Basic Mini Shape Dies II die set and then added some white gel pen accents to the clouds. This simple card packs a punch with the high contrast of the bright sunset sky and the dark die cuts.

Inside Greetings Congrats Cards with Alma and Gladys

Hi, this is Alma and today I´d like to show you a happy spinner card.

I used the cute Balloon Rides Stamps and first coloured the balloon, the bear, the houses and the trees. So that later the balloon can turn on both sides of the thread, you have to colour it twice. Then I punched them out with the matching Balloon Rides Dies.

For the landscape, I used the Forest Tree Stencil to wipe the background with the Distress Oxides Moved Lawn and Twisted Citron. For the center of the card I punched a hole with the Scalloped Oval Mat I Dies to attach the thread. I also cut out the houses from the Comic Strip Everyday Dies. Then I put all the houses and trees together to form a landscape and attached the thread with the balloon in the middle of the card.

Finally, I stamped the texts from the Inside Greetings Congrats Stamps Set. Now the balloon can merrily spin and fly to new adventures!

Hello friends! Gladys here with a cute baby card combining the Inside Greetings Congrats stamp set and Baby Elephants stamps and dies.

To begin I used the Frilly Frame Eyelet Lace die to cut from Bristol Smooth cardstock. I masked off the edges so I don't add color to it but I end up cutting it down after realizing that my tape was not straight. Thank goodness it was an easy fix! I ink blended my background using distress oxide inks in the colors: mowed lawn, shabby shutters, milled lavender, kitsch flamingo, seedless preserves, and faded jeans. I used a small paint brush to splatter some white paint speckles and water droplets to add more interest.

Next I colored the adorable mama and baby elephant from the set along with a few stars. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I stamped the balloon strings onto the inked panel and adhered the stars with foam tape. I also added foam tape on the elephants. I used the sentiment from Inside Greeting Congrats, there are lots of baby sentiments in this set and it pairs well with the Baby Elephant stamps. After I stamped the sentiment I adhered the panel onto the frame. For a finishing touch I added stardust stickles on the stars for a little bit of sparkle.
