Christmas Critters Cards with Marine and Anja

Hello crafty friends, Marine here, I'm back today with an interactive card featuring a cute kitty from Christmas Critters. Obviously it's a Christmas themed stamp set, but I like to use my supplies in different ways, and today happens to be my birthday as well, so I thought it would be fun to use this Christmas themed stamp set to create a birthday card.

As always I stamped my images using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I used the coordinating dies to cut them all, and then colored everything using my alcohol markers. And to make this card super happy and bright, I used rainbow colors to color the banners and the presents.

• Chrismas Critters: cat and both parts of the present
• Lazy Christmas: presents
• Balloon Rides: banner and the party hats

After the coloring, I moved on to the background. I cut a 5-3/4 x 2-3/4 inches bristol panel, and with the colorful images, I decided to keep this background pretty neutral so I covered it with tumbled glass distress ink. I added a few drops of copic opaque white ink mixed with water, as well as splatters of tumbled glass distress ink mixed with water.

Once the panel was dry, I created the interactive feature, and I invited you to click on the last image down below to watch the process video. I always easier to understand with images. So once the kitty was finally in its box, I attached the other presents using foam squares, and then the banners at the top and the party hats here and there around the presents.

I stamped my sentiment "Happy Birthday" from Barnyard Buddies below the presents using black ink, and then I cut a 6 x 3 inches panel using a paper from the Spring Sunburst paper pack. I stuck this rainbow panel on top of a light blue card base, and then I attached my interactive panel on top using foam tape.

As always I added highlights and details on the images using a white gel pen, and to finish this birthday card and make it even more happy and festive, I glued a whole bunch of jewels all around the presents.

Hi everyone, Anja here with my final holiday card of the year. Today, we are featuring the cute Christmas Critters Stamps.

I started off with an A2 card base made from white cardstock. The gorgeous floral patterned paper is from the All Is Bright 6x6 Paper pack and I cut it out with the stitched rectangle mat die included in the Frilly Frames Retro Petals set. Since the paper is quite busy, I also die cut a white cardstock circle and one of the stitched scalloped Fancy Frames Circles from aqua cardstock.

Next, I stamped the sweet little mouse, deer antlers and wreath in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and adhered them with foam tape to the center of the framed circle.

The sentiment from the Inside Greetings Holiday set was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto pink cardstock. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and cut out a banner with one of the Banner Basics Dies. To create the right width, I used partial die cutting. I die cut a white stitched strip with the smallest Slimline Pennant Dies to go behind the sentiment banner which I popped up with foam tape as well.

Holiday Express Cards & Video Tutorial with Franci and Julia

Hello there! It's Franci here with you today with a cute Christmas card, showcasing the Holiday Express stamp set. Aww look at my Christmas express with all the Santa's reindeer and gifts! I love it so much!!

First of all I created a slimline panel with the Stitched Rectangle Dies ( using the partial die cutting technique) out of dark blue and white cardstock, then I die cut a snowy hill out of the white one using the Slimline Nature Borders Dies. I stamped, colored with Copics and die cut all the images and added lots of details to them all with my white gel pen.

I stamped my sentiment at the bottom of my snowy hill and glued it onto my blue panel. Then I created a slightly bigger card base and a matching panel out of kraft cardstock and glued down all my elements as you see. 

I added all my images with foam adhesive and then drew little white dots here and there to create a snowy scene + I added some sparkle to all the Christmas gifts! 

Building this scene was so much fun, can't wait to wish one of my loved ones Happy Christmas with it! Thanks a lot for stopping by and have a lovely day!

Hello! It’s Julia here and this time I want to share this fun polar express card with you!

For this one, I stamped the images from Holiday Express on Bristol Smooth cardstock and colored them with Zig Clean Color Markers.

I ink blended a slimline background with Distress Oxide inks and added lots of snowy splatters! I used the Slimline Nature Borders to create a hill for my scene. I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto black cardstock.

Then, it was already time to build my scene! I added critters and presents to the wagons and Santa to the train! I adhered a few Lacy Snowflakes to fill the background and then glued down the sentiment in the top right corner!

I just love creating scenes like this and I had so much fun with this one! If you want to know which colors I used and how the card came together, you can check out the video above!

Lazy Christmas Cards with Isha and Kavya

Hello everyone! Isha here with a fun and cute card featuring the Lazy Christmas stamp and coordinating dies. These sloths are so adorable, right?

I started by taking a 5 inch square card. Cut a white mat layer and then using the biggest of the Stitched Semi-Circle dies, cut it out in the center. Adhere the white part to the card base. Take the semi-circle, stamp the snowflakes from the Deck the Halls stamp, emboss using white embossing powder. Sponge salty ocean, blueprint sketch and wilted violet distress inks. Flick white paint and let dry. Stamp the images, color using Copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies.

Assemble the scene and adhere the semi-circle panel to the card, it will fit like a puzzle. I then die-cut the veins from the Pristine Poinsettia die, dab it with Versamark ink. Emboss using WOW! Metalline Kiwi Crush embossing powder. Cut the veins to get the single vein and adhere to the card. Stamp sentiment.

Hi folks, Kavya here. I am back on the blog with another fun project to share with you all! Some of my fav stamps are the ones that are small in size but have infinite possibilities! SSS’s new Lazy Christmas stamp stamp is one such set. I also adore puns so that’s another reason to fall in love with this tiny gem! 

I first started off by ink blending a mini slimline sized cardstock using Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire and Seedless Preserve Distress Oxide inks. Then, for the base, I used the brown stripped pattern paper from Dots and Stripes Jewel Tones paper pack.  Later, I stamped and colored images from Lazy Christmas, Seasonal Trees and Scenic Route stamp set. For the trees, I drew some snow caps using a black gel pen before coloring it in! 

Finally, I heat embossed a sentiment from Lazy Christmas to finish off my card! Wasn’t that simple? I love how this turned out! Hope this inspires you today :) Happy crafting!

Forest Tree Stencil Focused Cards with Ashley and Mayra

Hello friends! It's Ashley with an unconventional Christmas card to share with you today. I used the Forest Trees stencil to create a rainbow of color! Who says rainbows can't be for Christmas?

I started with a piece of white Bristol smooth cardstock. I used the Forest Trees stencil and Distress Oxide inks to make a rainbow of trees for my background. I started at the bottom and used Villianous Potion, Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistachio, Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold, Picked Raspberry, and Kitsch Flamingo. I'm pretty happy with this combination, but I'm still looking for my go-to rainbow combo. Do you have a series you always use?

I splattered the trees with a bit of watered down white acrylic paint and dried the spots with my heat gun. I trimmed down the piece with the largest Stitched Rectangle die and backed it with a thin border of white glitter cardstock. I added this to a light gray card base for a small amount of contrast. I finished with a sentiment from Inside Greetings - Holiday. I stamped in VersaMark ink and embossed with white. The sentiment stands out more in person, but I think a metallic embossing powder would look great too and add more contrast.

Happy Monday everyone, Mayra here. I am sharing this set of cards with you today that I made using the awesome Forest Trees Stencil. This is truly a fantastic stencil set. I had a blast creating these cards.

I began by die-cutting the base layers for each card using both dies from the Stitched Rectangles die set from white cardstock. I then began by layering each of the numbered stencils and adding color to the card base. I began with the lightest color which was Bundled Sage Distress Oxide ink, next, I used Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink, and for the third layer, I used Noble Fir Lawn Fawn ink mixed with a bit of Ground Espresso Distress Ink. I then added white splatters over the entire card using white acrylic paint mixed with a bit of water. 

I then die-cut the letters for the word Christmas, and Holidays using the Chloe Alphabet die set. I then die-cut the word Merry from gold cardstock as well. The banner is from the Stitched Rectangles set. 

Next, I created the mini shaker for the smaller card using a framed rectangle die from Lawn Fawn. I also made the bigger card into a shaker card. The happy word for the smaller card is from the Christmas Critters stamp set. I then decorated the kraft-colored envelopes using the Forest Trees Stencil again and the same colors as I used for the card.
