Holiday Tags & Labels Gift Tags with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. Today I’m sharing autumn squirrel gift tags. I decided to give the Holiday Tags & Labels stamp a different look and create autumn tags.

I started by die cutting the Scalloped Tag Square from gold glitter cardstock to create the base for each tag. Next, I used the Holiday Tags & Labels Stamp Set to stamp the circles in beautiful autumn colors: green, orange and yellow. I stamped each color onto cardstock in the same color family, but one shade lighter than the ink.

I die cut the stamped circles using the coordinating dies and also die cut the little squares from the same set. For an extra playful touch, I die cut the little bows from the Sleigh Ride Surprise Die Set, again using the same green, orange and yellow color palette.

Then came my favorite part: assembling everything! I adhered all the pieces onto the golden scalloped tags, mixing and matching the colors so that every tag has its own little combination.

Of course, these tags needed some adorable characters, so I stamped and colored the squirrels from the Squirrel Friends Stamp Set. Once they were colored, I added them to the tags, and they really brought the whole autumn theme to life.

For the sentiment, I chose the “Thanks” stamp from the Sweet As Can Bee Stamp Set. And finally, I added coordinating pieces of colored ribbon to finish off each tag.

Thanks for joining me, and see you next week.
