Tulip Path Background Card with Nicky

Thank you for stopping by the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today, this is Nicky with you today and I'm sharing a Spring themed card.

I die cut sturdy white cardstock using Sunny's Scalloped Square 2 Large Dies (I used the largest in the set). I then used masking tape around the faux stitched  edge to protect the scalloped 'frame' and popped it in my Misti and double stamped the Tulip Path Background stamp image. I also stamped the 3 bunnies. I removed the masked and coloured the entire image using the following Copic marker combinations:

Sky - BG10, BG0000
Grass - YG41, G40, G20
Mountains - V91
Cherry Blossom Trees - RV04, RV02, RV00, YG41, E31, W1
Tulips - RV04, RV63, YG45, G12
Path - E41, E40, E43
Bunnies - C3, C1, C00
Blushes - RV04, RV63, RV00

I highlighted a few points and then die cut the bunnies using the coordinating die, I backed them with foam tape and applied them to the scene. Using a ruler as a guide I defined the edge of background colouring by coming in with W3 and W1 Copics which subtly focused the whole scene.

The 'Spring Greetings' sentiment is from the Big Bunny. I stamped in a Fuchsia ink so that it really popped against the background and then I die cut the word 'greetings' with the coordinating die then continued 3 more times to die cut white cardstock with the word die and then I glued the stack of words together and finally to the card. A few sparkling clear sequins completed the card.
