Bewitching Cards with Julia and Franci

Hello crafty friends! It’s Julia here and I am so excited to share this fun Halloween card with you!

First, I stamped the images from Bewitching, Christmas Critters, and Fall Friends onto Bristol Smooth Cardstock and colored them in using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

For my background, I added a circle mask to the top left corner to create a little moon and ink blended the background with Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, and Black Soot. I die-cut two grassy hills using the Slimline Nature Borders as well as the trees from Rustic Winter out of black cardstock to set my spooky scene.

I adhered the background and the grassy hills and trees to an A2-sized card base and then I added all my cute little images! 

I absolutely love making Halloween cards, even though we don't really celebrate it here in Germany. I had so much fun on this one and I really hope you like it!

Hi there! It's Franci here with you today, with some cute Halloween gift tags. This little witch cat is so cute with his potion cauldron and all the little bubbles blowing out of it, isn't he?!

First of all I die cut the tags out of some white cardstock and patterned paper from the Subtle Grey Tones pack using the Scalloped Tag Square Dies set. I stamped all my images from the Bewitching set, colored with Copics and die cut them out. 

I stamped my sentiment onto the white tags, added a little heart and glued everything together, then added my images at the front with some foam adhesive. 

Finally I added some bubbles with all my colorful Nuvo Drops and drew a few details with a white gel pen. I chose a lilac ribbon but green would have been so much fun as well or a classic black.

You could add these to your trick or treat bags or just to the sweets you will give away! Hope you like them as much as I do and thanks a lot for stopping by!

Stitched Oval Die Focused Cards with Kavya and Isha

Hi folks, Kavya here with another fun card to share with you all! I have been trying to find different layouts for cards and I found out that the new Oval set of dies are just perfect for creating the card below!

For this card, I decided to use a pink sweater pattern paper from Sweater Weather in 6” x 3.5”. Then, I die cut two ovals from Stitched Oval 2 dies and Scalloped Oval Mat 3. I ink blended the inner oval using Seedless Preserve and Picked Raspberry distress oxide inks and splattered some water! I cut this in half and placed them at either end of the card to place a wreath in the middle. 

Then, I stamped a bunch of images from Happy Owlidays and colored them using alcohol markers and added some extra details using white gel pen. Finally, I heat embossed a sentiment from the same stamp set to finish off the card :)

Hello everyone, Isha here! Today I am featuring our Stitched Oval 2 dies with a fun and sweet rainbow card. I created the rainbow as this die created perfect layers for my liking.

I started by die-cutting the oval layers using white cardstock. I then sponged them using distress oxide (picked raspberry, kitsch flamingo, spiced marmalade, mowed lawn, salty ocean) inks. Apply spectrum noir clear sparkle. Adhere some chunky glitter to the rainbow. Adhere to a white card base.

Die-cut some clouds using the Slimline Nature Borders die. Sponge tumbled glass distress oxide ink to the edges. Adhere to the card using 3d foam.

Stamp the images from the Candy Shoppe, color using Copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Add white details using a gel pen. Adhere to the card. Add the sentiment. To finish, add a clear sparkle pen to the candies.

Crisp Autumn Cards with Mayra

Hello everyone, happy October!!! Mayra here with you today. I am sharing this card using the lovely new Crisp Autumn stamp set. 

I began with stamping the layers for each of the pumpkins, and leaves.  I used the Pinkfresh Studios Indian Summer ink set. I also used Lawn Fawn ink, the colors I used were Carrot, Fake Tan, and Pumpkin Spice. For the leaves, I used Bundled Sage (Distress Oxide), Cilantro, Artichoke, and Noble Fir Lawn Fawn inks. 

Next, I die cut the base panel using the large stitched rectangle from the Frilly Frames Quatrefoil die set.  I then die-cut the layers to create the house for the autumn scene using the Gingerbread House die set. Then, I used the grass die from the Picket Fence die set to die cut the grassy layer. Next, I used the hill die from the Slimline Nature Borders die set to create the ground layer. I then heat embossed the sentiment from the set and used foam tape to adhere it to the card.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Leanne West

Hello Sunny Studio Fans! Leanne here and I'm happy to be guesting again on the blog. Let's talk about stamp set mash ups. It's my favorite way to get more out of my stamps. Especially when I can use different sets together that at first glance may not be an obvious mix. 

I have two cards to share today which demonstrate how well Sunny Studio stamps can mash up in unexpected ways.  

For my Halloween card I wanted to use a princess image from Enchanted and transform her into a witch. With the witch hat and caldron from Bewitching, I was able to accomplish just that.  

Copics used: V12, V15, V17, E00, E21, R00, E41, E43, YG11, FYG2, YR21, YR12, YR16, N2, N4, N6

I've also added in some pumpkins from Fall Friends. The background is an ink blend mix of Carved Pumpkin, Ripe Persimmon, and Dusty Concord Distress Oxides. I've framed up the scene with the Fancy Frames Squares. 

For my second card, I created an apple orchard scene combining two really great sets - Fall Friends and Happy Harvest. I just love the tree from Happy Harvest. It fits so nicely on this vertical mini slimline format.

And who doesn't love cute critters peeking out from behind things. Fall Friends has four to chose from and they could be used for more than just fall themes. I've made this card into a friendship card which can be sent any time of the year.

Fall Friends Cards with Audrey and Tammy

Hello friends! Audrey here with a Fall Friends card to share with you! 

To create my card, I started off with a piece of white cardstock cut to 4" x 5.25". I ink blended a teal ombre on the bottom 2/3 of the panel using Distress Oxide inks in Tumbled Glass, Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers. To ground my scene, I added a piece of knit paper from the Sweater Weather patterned paper pad. Then, I stamped and colored images from the adorable Fall Friends stamp set, and die cut them with the coordinating Fall Friends Dies. I arranged my scene on the bottom of the panel, with some pieces glued flat with glue pen and others popped up for added dimension. 

For my sentiment, I used a combination of stamps and dies. I die cut the Thank You Words Die three times from white cardstock and glued them together. Underneath that, I stamped a sentiment from the Words of Gratitude stamp set onto a white banner, and finished off the sentiment with a tiny clay heart.

Hi there! Tammy here with this sweet Fall themed slimline card, featuring the adorable set, Fall Friends. 

To begin, I cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock using the Stitched Mat Die from the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies. I blended some Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks onto the background, then added a grassy border cut from the Slimline Nature Borders Dies I ink blended the grassy border using Scattered Straw and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide inks. 

Next, I stamped the images from Fall Friends, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Fall Friends Dies. I arranged the colored images onto my card using foam tape on some for dimension. I then stamped a sentiment from Harvest Mice onto a strip of white cardstock with marmalade ink. Lastly, I adhered the background to a dark kraft Slimline Scalloped Frame, then onto a white card base to complete my card.
