Window Quad Die Focused Cards with Rachel and Candice

Hello friends! It's Rachel here with a fun card featuring the new Window Quad Circle Dies. I combined this set with the Feeling Frosty Stamp Set to create a fun, wintry shaker card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Window Quad Dies Feeling Frosty Christmas Cards by Rachel Alvarado

I started by first trimming a piece of white card stock to 4.5" x 4.5" and then die cut it with the Window Quad Circles Dies. I then blended some Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks onto a piece of smooth white card stock and used it to place behind my circular windows.

Next, I added some chunky glitter for my embellishments. I then stamped my images from the Feeling Frosty Set onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored them with Copic Sketch Markers.

I used the coordinating dies to cut out my images and then added them to the front of my card with 3D Foam Adhesive Squares for added dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Hello! Candice here and I bet you are currently working on your Christmas cards! Today I have some cute inspiration for you highlighting a different way to use the Window Quad dies!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Window Quad Dies Merry Mice Slimline Dies Christmas Card by Candice Fisher

I used these Sunny Studio products for my mini slimline card:

I began my mini slimline with a 6 1/2 x 4 card base. For my background, I created my mini scalloped frame panel by doing the partial die cut method. I then taped off the scalloped edge and used a pieced cut from the Frilly Frames Stripes die as a stencil to create the plaid background. I first inked the darker stripes and then rotated to create the lighter stripes using Peacock Feathers Distress ink.

Next, I stamped the mice and accessories from the stamp sets listed above, colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. To put the card together, I first die cut 6 stitched circles from the Window Quad Circle dies and inked them in ombre with Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress inks. I lined them up and stamped the sentiment directly on the plaid background. I then heat embossed the second sentiment on a black banner in white. I adhered the images with either glue or foam tape and finished with a few pink pearls!

Thank you and I hope you are inspired for your next Christmas card!

Quatrefoil Die Focused Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a new card using the Frilly Frames Quatrefoil Dies. Today I took a break from Christmas crafting and made a Thank You card instead:

Sunny Studio Stamps: Frilly Frame Dies Slimline Dies Thank You Card by Vanessa Menhorn

I started with a piece of white cardstock and inked it with Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks. Then I die-cut the stitched rectangle from it and adhered it to the front of the card. Now I inked a second piece of white cardstock with the same colors and die-cut the quatrefoil pieces from it. I adhered the matching pieces to the card and added little dots with a white gel pen.

Next, I die-cut the "Thank You" from Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies from the inked panel, matted it with a white die-cut and adhered it to the card before adding details with a white gel pen. Finally, I added matching pearls from the Rainbow Pearls mix.

I hope you like my short break from the Christmas theme. Back to some festive crafting now :) Thank you for stopping by today!

Hi everyone, Anja here with a festive holiday card showcasing the Frilly Frames Quatrefoil Dies which are perfect for a decorative background.

I used both dies (the stitched rectangle and the quatrefoil pattern) together and cut it from heavyweight white cardstock. I adhered a piece of warm gold glitter cardstock to my A2 card base and glued the quatrefoil die-cut on top. Some of the white inside pieces were inlaid back into the negative spaces.

Next, I die cut the flowers from the Window Quad Circle Dies set (and a mini flower which was a free with purchase die) to create three layered poinsettias. To keep the design simple, I only added a banner with a white heat embossed sentiment from the Inside Greetings Christmas stamp set.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Winter Scenes Cards and Video Tutorial with Ana and Christy

Hello crafty friends and happy December! It's Ana and today I am sharing a holiday card featuring Winter Scenes stampsSeasons Greetings stamps and dies and Here Comes Santa stamps.

Sunny Studio Blog: Season's Greetings Santa Flying Over Neighborhood Christmas Card by Ana Anderson (using Winter Scenes, Season's Greetings & Here Comes Santa Stamps)

I love creating winter scenes for my holiday cards, so I started this card with making the sky. I ink blended Salted Ocean and Faded Jeans distress inks then added white paint splatter for the falling snow.

While the sky was drying, I stamped the trees border scene from the Winter Scenes set and colored it with Copic markers. I decided to fussy cut the border and adhere the tree scene directly to the snowy sky.

I white heat embossed the word seasons (from Seasons Greetings stamp set) to the background then stamped the word greeting in red ink and cut it with coordinating die (Seasons Greetings stamps and dies). I finished the card by stamping Santa and reindeer (from Here Comes Santa set) ink dark blue ink.

I really love the retro look and colors of this card! I hope you liked it as well and got inspired!

Hey friends, it's Christy here with a fun Christmas card featuring Winter Scenes. I combined it with Santa and Mrs. Claus from the North Pole stamp set, turning my cozy little village into Santa's workshop and Elf Housing. Lol. I colored my images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For my background, I white heat embossed a sentiment from
Inside Greetings - Holiday and a flurry of snowflakes from Penguin Pals onto a dark blue card base. Then I glued down my scene and added the images over top. As a finishing touch, I added a bit of sparkle with some Stardust Stickles.

Christmas Cards with Leanne and Mendi

Happy December everyone! Leanne here, and today I have a CAS Holiday card to share (well, clean and simple by my standards anyway). This card features images from Holy Night. I really thought these images could stand on their own against a very neutral background. I have always loved how soft and natural kraft cardstock looks and thought it was the perfect backdrop for this scene.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Holy Night Religious Christmas Card by Leanne West

I trimmed the panel of kraft card stock slightly smaller than my A2 card base. I used a blending brush and some white pigment ink to frost the outer edges of the kraft panel. I then spattered it with thinned white paint. I Copic colored the images from Holy Night.

Copics used: E41, E42, E43, E71, E74, E77, E30, E31, E35, Y32, Y26, Y28, E84, E000, E00, C1, C3, N2, N4, R81, R83, G40, G43, B21, B24

I die cut them with the coordinating Holy Night dies. I adhered the images to the center of the background panel with foam squares. I stamped the sentiment just below the scene. This acts as a ground so the scene doesn't look like its floating. Lastly, I tied white and silver baker's twine around the top of the card just below the fold.

--------------------------------------------

Hi there! Mendi here with Christmas card using some scraps leftover on my desk from our Holiday Sneak Peek week and I couldn't let the holidays pass without sharing it.

For this card I used the poinsettia, holly, berries and tree sprigs from our Classy Christmas Stamps which I stamped with clear VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Hero Arts White Detail Embossing powder. I then "watercolored" my images using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I use quotation marks because I'm not sure if my coloring can be classified as true watercoloring and I made such a mess that I elected to fussy cut my images because my coloring went so far outside the lines. I love that even the worst results can be made beautiful again though by cutting off the ugly parts.

For my tree sprigs, I stamped them out using PinkFresh Studio inks (linked below) and die-cut them using the matching Classy Christmas dies.  I had a scalloped mat on my desk from our Frilly Frames Hexagon dies that had gotten bent in the center, but rather than throw it out, I cut it off on either side of the bend and created the look of a gate-fold card. I finished my card by applying some clear droplets by Studio Katia (also linked below) and sentiment stamped from our Holiday Cheer Stamps.
