Window Quad Die Focused Cards with Ana and Christy

Hello crafty friends! This is Ana and today I am sharing a Christmas shaker card showcasing Window Quad Square Dies and Warm and Cozy Dies.

I decided to go with non-traditional colors for my Christmas card today. I choose Pink & Purple Heart confetti first and pulled the colors to the rest of the card from the mix. I went through my colored cardstock and found the colors that matched the shaker hearts, then die cut the mugs, snowflakes and hearts (from Warm and Cozy dies set), adhered the pieces together, making sure I put the hearts in the center of each mug to coordinate with hearts in shaker windows.

Out of white heavyweight cardstock, I die cut the Window Quad panel then stamped the sentiment in purple ink. Sentiment is from Alpaca Holiday stamp set and I thought I went perfect with this card. To create the background of the shaker part, I heavily inked Wilted Violet distress oxide ink and once it was dry, added white splatter to the purple panel.

I backed the window opening with acetate, added double foam tape around each window, added the Heart confetti and closed the windows with inked purple panel. I added the colorful mugs using foam tape and finished by adding highlights with white gel pen.

I really hope you like today’s card and got inspired to use non-traditional colors and shaker pieces for Christmas! I think it turned out super cute and a bit unexpected with hearts confetti.

Hey friends, it's Christy here with a card using our Window Quad Square Dies. Each little square features an adorable dog from Party Pups. I simply colored their gifts in Christmas colors and added in a letter to Santa and a candy cane from Penguin Pals. I colored them all with Copics and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Then I die cut the Window Quad Square from some Holiday Cheer 6x6 paper and used the outer die from Frilly Frames Quatrefoil to add the stitching detail to the edge as well. I stamped a sentiment from Inside Greetings - Holiday at the bottom of the panel with red and green ink and popped it up over another piece of patterned paper. 

I added the pups in the windows with foam tape and finished off the card with a few sequins and some Stickles glitter glue.

Surfing Santa Cards with Leanne and Isha

Hello everyone! It's Leanne here to share some holiday card inspiration with a tropical twist. I have combined my focal images with a fun striped background for a simple but festive scene.  

This card is A2 size. I created the striped background with the Frilly Frames Stripes Die. I die cut the frame from white card stock and the layered it over a panel of soft red card stock. I love a good candy cane stripe for the holidays. Next I Copic colored all the stamped images. Santa and surf board are from Surfing Santa. 

Copics used: YG11, YG13, YG18, E40, E41, E43, E44, R32, R35, C1, C3, E00, E02

The little island is from Tropical Scenes. Palm trees are from Seasonal Trees and Sending Sunshine. To finish off the card, I used the greeting included with Surfing Santa and white heat embossed it onto a small die cut speech bubble.

Hello everyone! Isha with you today sharing a no-line watercoloring card featuring the Surfing Santa stamp set. I am so happy that we have this set with summer theme Santa :)

I started by stamping the bigger palm tree from the Seasonal Trees stamp set onto watercolor paper using Antique Linen Distress ink. I bend it a bit more towards the left. It's so easy to manipulate the clear stamps a bit. I then marked my water, sand area roughly and started coloring the tree. 

I then created the background. Now stamp the smaller palm trees from the Surfing Santa stamp set. Again, I bent them as per my liking and added color to them. Stamp the Santa onto a watercolor piece and color in. I then die-cut the image using the coordinating dies. Apply puffy paint to the Santa hat fur and heat set.

Stamp the sentiment and emboss using WOW! metallic platinum embossing powder. Adhere the Santa image using 3D foam. Adhere this layer to a kraft card base.

Classy Christmas Cards with Ashley and Mayra

Hi friends! It's Ashley today with an elegant Christmas card featuring the new Classy Christmas set! This set is one of my favorites to color lately. I've used watercolor with it before, but for today, I decided to try it with my trusty Copic markers. I think the results are, well, classy! 

I started by stamping several images from Classy Christmas in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink on white cardstock and coloring them with Copic markers. I cut them out with the matching die set, then splattered each piece with a bit of watered down gold acrylic paint. 

For the background, I blended several shades from the Pinkfresh Studio Starry Night cube set onto light blue cardstock to make an ombre piece. I die cut it with the frame from Frilly Frames Retro Petals to add the stitching, then splattered it with gold acrylic paint too. Once it was dry, I added it to a piece of dark brown woodgrain patterned paper from the Amazing Argyle pack.

I arranged the images on my background, popping the front flower up with foam tape for dimension. I stamped the word "Christmas" from the North Pole set in VersaMark ink on black cardstock and embossed with white before adding the strip to the card. I created the dimensional word by cutting the Greetings word die twice from scrap white cardstock and once from gold metallic cardstock and gluing the layers together. To finish, I added a few clear gems around the card for a bit of subtle sparkle.

Hello and happy Monday everyone!! Mayra here with you today. I have a super fun Christmas shaker card to share with you. I used the beautiful Classy Christmas stamp set. 

I began by using the lovely Frilly Frames Quatrefoil dies to die cut the base for my card using a soft blue colored cardstock. I love the traditional Christmas colors... but as you can tell from a couple of my recent color combinations, I also enjoy using non-traditional color combinations as well. I set the die-cut layers aside and then colored the beautiful poinsettias from the Classy Christmas stamp set. I went with a no-line coloring look. You can achieve this look by using any light tan, or even gray-colored ink for your images. 

I used Copic markers to color all of the images. For the red areas, I used R22, E59, R46, R17, and R05. For the green areas, I used YG63, YG99, G99, and G94. For the brown areas, I used E42, E43, E49, E47, and E44. I then used the Stitched Ovals Dies set to die cut a white oval for the center of my card. Next, I stamped the sentiment onto the oval using black ink and the sentiment from the Retro Ornaments stamp set.

I then adhered my card together and added the little bits to make it into a shaker card. I had lots of fun coloring and creating this card. I hope you enjoy it and feel inspired to create. Thank you very much for taking the time to stop by. I pray you each have a wonderful and blessed day.

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hello there! The Sunny Studio team is so excited to be kicking off the first day of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags event this year!  I'm only sharing a tiny peek here today so make sure to visit Tracey's blog for loads more darling tag ideas using our products.

For my first set of tags I used a few of the many ornaments I had stamped earlier using our Retro Ornaments Stamps, together with the tree branch from our Classy Christmas Stamps.  I started by die-cutting my tags using our Build-a-Tag 1 dies, cutting them from a dot print found in our Holiday Cheer Paper pack.

I cut a second tag in the same print to give the backs of my tags a finished look and then stamped my "to" and "from" on the back. I finished the set by adhering a ribbon bow and adding little dots of stickles to give the look of twinkly lights. I love pulling out ribbon for tags because I don't need to send these through the mail so it doesn't matter how bulky they are.  Love that sense of freedom (and using up a tiny bit of my huge ribbon stash).

Up next is a pair of tags using the adorable hedgehog from our mini Hedgey Holidays Stamps. I cut my tags from some red gingham paper from our Holiday Cheer Paper pack and then cut a stitched circle from a pink snowflake print from that same paper set. I popped up my hedgies using some foam pop dots and scattered some snowflakes around them using our Snowflake Circle Frame Dies. As a final finishing touch I pulled out some old school red We R Memory Keeper eyelets from my stash and threaded them with some pink twine.

Here's a look at the back of my tags. While I'll often die-cut two tags and adhere them together back-to-back to make them sturdy and look beautiful on both sides, I thought the print on the back of my red gingham paper worked with my color scheme.  My tags also were already quite thick with the three layers of cardstock so I decided to just heat embossed my "to" and "love" onto the back using our Season's Greetings Stamps.

For my last set of gift tags today I used Mr. & Mrs. Claus with a boy and girl elf from our North Pole Stamps and Dies. I pulled out my Build-a-Tag 2 dies and cut out the blue tone-on-tone Christmas print from our Very Merry Paper pack. 

I kept my tags fairly simple making sure to leave room to stamp my "to" and "love" using our Inside Greetings Holiday Stamps. I added a little snowy hill for them using our Slimline Nature Border dies and die-cut some hearts as an accent using the mini hearts from our Basic Mini Shape Dies 2 and some red striped paper from our Striped Silly Paper pack.
