Barnyard Buddies Christmas On The Farm Card with Lexa

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a holiday card inspiration by mixing several Sunny Studio stamps in one card. These cute farm animals were visiting their friend, the reindeer, so they must be geared up to face the snow!

I start my card with choosing the right stamp set for my basic idea - the Barnyard Buddies are so ready for Christmas. They are all dressed well with the accessories from the Jolly Gingerbread and Playful Polar Bears stamp sets. Well, they have to keep themselves warm, right? I stamped all my images with Versafine black ink and watercolored them with Distress markers. After I finished with all the coloring, I die cut all of the pieces with the coordinating dies.

I blended Peacock Feather and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks for the snowy sky and stamped some of the snowflakes with turquoise dye ink from Gleeful Reindeer. I also add some white dots using Nuvo Drops for some dimension and it looks so cool! After I finished my scene, I layer it on top of purple polka dot patterned paper.

Jolly Gingerbread Script Background Sweet Christmas Card with Vanessa

Hello sweet Sunny Studio friends! Vanessa here with my first Christmas card of the year! Mendi has outdone herself again with this wonderful winter release - I love love love the new sets! For today's card I chose to use Jolly Gingerbread.

I trimmed a panel from script patterned paper (taken from Pinkfresh Studio’s Oh Joy paper pad) ... slightly smaller than the striped card base and adhered it. Now I stamped the images from Jolly Gingerbread, Playful Polar Bears and Christmas Icons onto a piece of white cardstock, colored them with Copics, die-cut them with the matching dies and adhered everything to the card.

Finally, I colored a rectangle of white cardstock with green Copics, stamped the sentiment and adhered it to the card with foam tape.

Introducing New Design Team Member Francesca Vignoli!

With the rush of our new release, I failed to properly say goodbye to Amy Yang as she left for new design adventures.  We're really going to missing her... Playful Polar Bears Winter Scene Card with Francesca

Hi there! Franci here with you today with my very first card for Sunny Studio Stamps! I'm super happy and excited for this new adventure and I hope you will join in the fun with me! It was love at first sight with the new Playful Polar Bears stamp set so I decided to create my first card with it! 

The set is full of cute bears and lots of winter and Christmas accessories that make them perfect for all your seasonal celebrations. I went for a kind of love themed cozy card and I'm super happy about how it turned out.

First I stamped all my images with Memento tuxedo ink, colored them with Copics, and then die cut them with the coordinating dies. I actually didn't use all of the bears in the set, but be sure to check them all out because they are designed to hold little gifts or decorations in their paws. So cute! 

Next, I created my card base by folding a 5 1/8" x 7 7/8" piece of white cardstock in half and sponging some Salty Ocean Distress ink on the front to create my sky. I also cut 2 stripes of the white cardstock and used the tiny little snowflake die (free with every order) to create a dry emboss effect on both strips. I stamped my sentiment along the bottom strip. I also added a little heart from the Jolly Gingerbread stamp set. 

I arranged my stamped images to create a cute scene and adhered all the pieces in place with tape and liquid glue. I drew some snowflakes in the sky with a white gel pen to create a snowy effect. I also drew little polka dots on the scarfs, and little details here and there, with the same pen to make my bears extra cute!

Fireplace Shaped Die Holiday Mantle Scene Card with Nancy

Hi everyone, Nancy here. It's that time of the year again when we start planning out holiday cards! Christmas is my favorite season to send handmade cheer to those I love.  Let's take a closer look at the Fireplace Shaped die set. 

I created this card starting with a white fireplace background. This gave me a nice, clean slate to work on. To decorate, I began with the inside of fire pit and created a bold, colorful look with "bricks" in aqua tones and gray. Next, I stamped the sentiment in the upper right hand corner of the mantle. The flames and logs were layered in the center of the fire pit and give the card a touch of warmth. A few red stocking were hung with care, some with candy cane treats (from the Playful Polar Bears stamps) and an enamel heart. A sprig of holly stamped from the Christmas Icons set finishes off the card.

Decorating mantles of all different types is a fun way to use the Fireplace Shaped die set. You can go with traditional red bricks or give it a playful aqua twist - customization is endless here!

Polar Playmates Winter Scene Christmas Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I'll be using the new Polar Playmates stamp set to create a Christmas Winter scene. This new set is so super adorable with all the polar animals of course I had to use this one first.

To begin my card today I stamped, coloured in my images with Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. I then cut down a piece of watercolour paper, using a stitched rectangle die and ink blended some Distress Ink over top. I used Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon and Salty Ocean. Going darkest on the bottom and fading to white to the top. I then splattered some water on top, picked it up with paper towel and dried it with a heat tool. I really love the reaction with water Distress Inks give!

Next I used some black ink to stamp the 'Sealiously' sentiment first onto the bottom of my panel, then used Versamark ink to stamp the 'Hoping You Have A' and 'Merry Christmas' sentiments on the top and bottom of the other sentiment. Then white heat embossed them. I then used foam tape behind my images and adhered them onto my panel. To complete my card I used fun foam to adhere to the back of my panel and then some striped patterned paper to adhere onto a card base and that finished up my card for today.
