Hello there! Amy here with a card
that features the new Pet Sympathy stamp set. I think this set
is essential for card makers to have in their collection. Unfortunately, there
will be times when we need to comfort our friends and families for the loss of
their fur babies. Handmade cards for the specific occasion are a great way to
show how much we care. In addition to sympathy cards, this set can be used for
making non-sympathy cards with the adorable images of cats, dogs and other pet
themed images.
For today,
I made a sympathy card that is simple yet (hopefully) sweet. I made
rainbow colored clouds with a cloud stencil and various light colored Distress
Inks. Then, I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed it in
silver.
I stamped the cat, wings,
and halo and colored them with Copic markers. I cut them out with the coordinating
dies. I also added some Star Dust Stickles to the wings. To finish,
I adhered the wings to the cat, and mounted the cat and halo to the card front
with foam adhesive.
