An exciting New Addition to the Sunny Studio Family!

I can't tell you how excited I am to finally introduce Laura Vegas as Sunny Studio's new social media coordinator!  She has been helping me out behind the scenes for the past couple of months and she's doing a fabulous job.  Laura is someone I've admired for over a decade for her wonderful sense of style and for our mutual love of memory keeping.   We share so much in common and I just know you are going to love her as much as I do!  I honestly still can't believe I was lucky enough to have her say yes.  ;)

Hi there! I’m Laura Vegas, from Northern California, where I live with my husband Joe, and my two daughters, Alyssa (20) and Sarah (17). I have been scrapbooking for well over 23 years now. I scrapbook mostly about my girls and our family, but like to mix it up now and then by scrapping photos and stories about my daycare kids and family friends as well. I have been fortunate enough to design for some amazing manufacturers in the industry over the last 11 years, and have also had my work published in a variety of publications for the last 10 years. I was honored to be a member of the 2010, 2011 and 2012 Creating Keepsakes Dream Team and the 2013, 2014 and 2015 Scrapbook & Cards Today design team. I just recently left my position as Creative Team Coordinator for Bella Blvd after 5 years, and am currently designing for Kerri Bradford Studio.

Friends & Family Floral Wreath Card with Lexa

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a simple sweet flowery card starring Friends & Family stamp. I think it's a perfect ambiance for spring time.

I start my card with a piece of 4.25"x5.5" white cardstock and embossed it with tiny triangles pattern. I use a matching piece of gold foil patterned vellum to add more interest. For the floral wreath, first I trace a circle with pencil then stamped various flowers from Friends & Family stamp with purple and pink dye ink and some green leaves. 

It's effortlessly beautiful, after I'm happy with the result, I fussy cut the wreath and stamp the sentiment in the middle. It will take you less than 20 minutes to finish this card.

Vintage Jar and Friends & Family Happy Birthday Card with Vanessa

Hi everybody! Vanessa here with a mason jar full of pretty flowers! I combined Vintage Jar and Friends & Family to create this happy birthday card.

I first covered a blue card base with blue patterned paper. Now I stamped the mason jar and all the flowers and leaves onto white cardstock, die-cut them with the coordinating Vintage Jar dies and Friends & Family Flower dies, and arranged them on the card. For more dimension, I adhered some of the pieces with foam tape. Finally, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment from Blissful Baking onto a strip of dark blue cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it to the card. 

It's so much fun to arrange real flowers in a mason jar and it is as much fun to do it with these beautiful stamps!!
