Embossing Folders Focused Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hello there! Vanessa here today with a fall card using one of the gorgeous new embossing folders. Embossing folders add so much beautiful texture to cards.

First, I embossed the front of my white card base with the Moroccan Circles Embossing. Then I trimmed a piece of patterned paper from the Colorful Autumn Paper, stamped the sentiment from Woodsy Autumn Stamps and adhered it to the card.

Now I stamped the leaves and the acorns from Elegant Leaves and Beautiful Autumn onto white paper, colored the images with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered them to the card. Finally, I added orange sequins.

I can't get enough of the beautiful colors of autumn - we are still in midst of a hot summer and I am impatiently waiting for cooler weather :) Thanks for visiting!

Hello everyone, Anja here and today's card features the Lots of Dots Embossing Folder. It's perfect to add some texture to your projects like I did with my background.

First, I did an ink blended background with Distress Oxides in warm autumn colors (Ripe Persimmon, Carved Pumpkin, Wild Honey, Mustard Seed and Scattered Straw). I flicked on some water droplets with a paint brush. When everything was completly dry, I ran the panel through my die-cutting machine using the embossing folder. I also added a couple random sparkly splatters.

Next, I stamped the sweet hedgehog, the tree and fall leaves from the Woodsy Autumn set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out.

 
For the grass, I cut a strip of one of the green Heroic Halftones 6x6 Papers and used the grass border die from the Comic Strip Everyday Die set. I sponged on a little Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I also adhered a little die-cut heart to the right. Finally, I assembled my card and applied some Nuvo Golden Sunset Glitter Drops.

Elegant Leaves Cards with Ana and Franci

Hello everyone! It's Ana here today sharing three cards featuring gorgeous Elegant Leaves stamps and coordinating dies as well as patterned paper packs from the newest fall 2019 release.

For my first card I have used Elegant Leaves stamp set and Staggered Circles Dies. To start, I have placed Staggered Circles Die on a piece of white cardstock and penciled the placement of each circle. I aligned the stamps onto each circle next, then used mini ink pads to create multiple colors on each leaf.

This technique is easy to achieve if you have a stamping platform and don't mind getting your fingers inky! As I stamped each color, I wiped off the rough edges mini ink cubes created. I started with the darkest color in the middle of each image and worked my way out to the lightest, making sure the colors mix. I did not clean the stamp between each color.

For the colors, I used several different brands of inks in dark and medium browns, rust, mustard, dark yellow and green.

Once all the stamping was done, I die cut circles using Staggered Circles Dies and adhered the panel on a piece of beautiful patterned paper from Colorful Autumn Paper Pack. I heat embossed the sentiments, added some splatter and few pearls to finish the card.

I decided to make a shaker card for my second project. I used Colorful Autumn Patterned paper for the background. I die cut a circle in the middle creating a shaker opening and backed the panel with patterned paper from Heroic Halftones Patterned Paper pack. For my shaker elements, I used rainbow Clay Flower Confetti. 

I stamped the Thankful sentiment (from Elegant Leaves stamp set) with 3 shades of blue ink, creating an ombre effect, then fussy cut it out. The leaves were stamped with brown ink, colored with alcohol markers then tucked behind the sentiment. I white heat embossed the rest of the sentiment.

Completed panel was adhered to A2 size card base.

For my third card I used Stitched Oval Dies to create white oval frame as well as an opening in the brown background panel. I used Dapper Diamonds Embossing Folder to create the pattern on the background panel then added white oval frame with foam tape.

I heat embossed the sentiment directly on the card base, added some shading with Vintage Photo Distress Ink around the sentiment, then adhered the background panel to the card base.

I heat embossed the leaves from Elegant Leaves stamp set, colored them with alcohol markers and die cut with coordinating dies. I arranged the leaves around the oval frame, tucked few inside of the frame, them embellished the card with brown gems.

Hello there and happy Wednesday! Franci here with you today with my first card featuring the new release which I adore!! Here I'm showcasing the new Elegant Leaves set with a special card, totally out of my comfy zone but super fun to make!

First of all I stamped all the leaves on to my white panel, I let them dry completely and I watercolored them with light colors. I also added some sparkle watercolors splatters here and there. I had this idea in my mind: making a dreamy fall leaves patterned paper - I'm so happy about how it turned out.

Then I die cut the word Hello twice out of chocolate cardstock, I glued the layers together and added a coat of Glossy Accents. I also die cut a little heart out of sparkle gold paper using the mini die included in the Comic Strip Everyday Dies set. 

I glued my panel on to a white card base, I added some white twine, some vellum and glued everything down. Finally I also added some white embellishments.

Seasonal Trees Cards with Anja and Vanessa

Hi everyone, Anja here and today I'm highlighting the Seasonal Trees set which is perfect for scenes all year round. There are trees for every season as well as some fun little accessory images. The possibilities are endless.

I created a scene combining the summer tree, birdhouse, log, apple and birdies with the Home Sweet Gnome Stamps.

I started off with an A2 card base made from light grey cardstock and cut a white mat using the stitched scalloped die from the Frilly Frames Stripes set. Next, I did some blending with Distress Oxide Inks for the sky (Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean) and grass (Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn). To create the grassy borders I used a die from the Comic Strip Everyday set. I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink and white heat embossed it.

I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I also die cut two clouds with the Fluffy Clouds Dies to complete my scene. I adhered all images and popped some of them up with foam tape. A small red heart finished off the card which I truly enjoyed creating.

Hello everybody! Vanessa here with a fun birthday card using Seasonal Trees. For this card, I had help from my daughter. I asked her if she had an idea how to use the set and she made me a sketch. I loved her idea! If you'd like to see the sketch, please visit my Instagram page. Here is what I made of it:

I started with a panel of white cardstock and stamped the images. After I had masked them, I applied various Distress Oxide inks with an ink blending tool. Then I applied water droplets with a brush and added stars with a white gel pen.

I removed the masks, colored the images with Copics and adhered the panel to the card base. Finally, I stamped the sentiment from A Bird's Life onto black cardstock, die-cut the banner from Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies and adhered it.

Best Fishes Cards with Mona and Franci

Hi crafty friends! It's Mona here, today I am showing you another cute interactive card with fishing lines. This time I used the Best Fishes Stamp Set from Sunny Studio Stamps.

I started the card making with stamping the background. I used different types of underwater plants from the Magical Mermaids and Best Fishes sets. 

When the stamping was done, I made an absolute quick one minute no shading coloring then I went through the background with Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Thumbed Glass Distress Oxide inks. When the ink blending was done I splattered on it with white and blue watercolor and let it dry.

Next, I stamped and colored my images from the Magical Mermaids and Best Fishes stamp sets with my Copic Markers. I adhered 3-6 clear beads to the back of these underwater critters and let the liquid adhesive dry.

Next I created a die-cut from teal cardstock and double sided foam adhesive with the Comic Strip Everyday Dies.

Once the beads were adhered to the images I laced it up with fishing lines and adhered them to the back of the comic strip.

In the end I put everything together and the moving card was ready. I hope you like this inspiration, have an amazing day. Bye.

Hello, hello! Franci here with you today showcasing my favorite set from the latest Sunny Studio release, the Best Fishes one!

I love all these cute ocean critters so much I can't even pick a favorite! First of all I stamped, colored with my Copics and die cut all the images. Then I cut out a long stripe of white cardstock and I inked it with Distress Inks to create an ocean scene backdrop.

I added lots of sparkle to the images with the Wink of Stella brush and to my background with sparkle watercolors.

I glued down all the images with a combo of liquid glue and foam adhesive, then I added some more details with a white gel pen. Do you have a favorite critters from the set?!

Finally I adhered my panel on to a slightly taller white card base and added lots of bubbles I made with the White Nuvo Crystal Drops.
