School Time You Rule Teacher Card with Elise

Hi everyone! It's Elise today to share a super cute teacher card with you today that features the School Time stamp set. My husband is a high school teacher, so I made this small 4.25" by 3.5" card to slip into his lunch box before school some day! :)

The images are all stamped in black ink onto white card stock and colored with Prismacolor pencils. I wanted the notebook page and all of the little images to stand out, so I used a kraft card base for contrast. I also really like to add dimension to my cards, so I used foam tape to attach the apple, pencil, and stars. Here is a close up:

Watercolored Thank You Teacher card with Audrey

Hi there!  Audrey here with you today to share a card using the new School Time stamp set!  I'm sure it comes as no surprise that I started off my card by creating a watercolor background using several colors of distress inks.  I wanted to create a backdrop for my focal point, and I kept the size of the notebook paper image in mind when painting, so that color was just peeking out from behind the image.

I stamped the notebook page, crayons, apple and ruler, all from the School Time stamp set, and colored them with copic markers.  To add some interest, I adhered the ruler at an angle near the bottom third of the card front, and added a strip of bright patterned paper below the ruler.  I popped the crayons and apple up on foam tape for some added dimension, and then popped the entire watercolored panel up on a white card base using foam tape.

School Time

You can see here how much added texture the watercolor paper gives to the card, and a few accents to the crayons and apple with a white gel pen really bring them to life.  For even more texture and interest, I added a scattering of tiny wood stars, but there are also a few star images in the stamp set too!

Thank You Teacher

That's all for me today!  I hope that you enjoyed my card using the School Time stamp set!  Be sure to stop back tomorrow for more inspiration from the design team! :)

School Time You Rule Watercolor Teacher Card with Heidi

Heidi here today with a card using the School Time stamp set.

I created a water colored background using Zig Clean Color real brush markers and then I stamped the Images onto Copic friendly card stock. I colored them using Copic Markers, and fussy cut them.  I found that these stamped images are very easy to cut out.

I adhered the images using foam adhesive on top of my watered colored panel. I used the ruler as a side paper piece, instead of patterned paper, I thought it goes really good with the sentiment. To finish the card I added some enamel dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

School Time You're A Good Apple Card with Melissa

Hi everyone! Melissa here. Today I have a card to share with you focusing on the School Time stamp set! I just love both the apple image and the little crayon that come with this set. I thought it would be fun to put the smiling face from the Birthday Smiles set on the apple and have the cute little penguin from Bundled Up holding the crayon.

To create this card I first cut out a rectangle of white card and then die cut the bottom using the Fishtail Banner die. The little scene was made by first stamping the objects in the foreground such as the crayon and little hat and then masking them off with masking paper before stamping the other images. I then colored the images using Copic markers and added the sentiment on the top. I finished off the card by tying a piece of twine to the top and mounting it to a card with some patterned paper.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Don't forget there is still time to take advantage of the 10% off sale (along with free shipping on all orders over $39) through midnight tonight at the online store.  The lucky winner of the facebook giveaway is also being announced today so make sure to check if you're a winner. :)

Sunny Saturday Share: Pets Themed Cards By Francine

Hello there!  I'm popping in today with what I hope is the first of many Sunny Saturday Shares with some darling cards uploaded to our Flickr group by the talented Francine Vuilleme.

Francine's first card took the little dog from the Santa's Helpers stamp set and turned him into a darling everyday image.  She also paired a sentiment from the Happy Home stamp set.  I am so in love with her idea!
Welcome Home
Her next card focuses on our Furever Friends stamp set.  I love her starry background and the cute little dream bubble for the mouse and sentiment!

Getting To Know the New Team: Introducing Elise

Hi there!  My name is Elise and I live in central Pennsylvania with my husband and 2 year old daughter, who keeps me very busy!  My husband and I are very involved in our church and we serve as the youth leaders, and in various other roles.

I started card making about 6 years ago when my mother-in-law bought me a Cricut for Christmas. Shortly after that I discovered stamping and I have been hooked!  When I'm not making cards, I'm usually hanging out with my family, coloring with my daughter, or baking something yummy!

I like rainbows, cute critters, and fun, creative sentiments, so I think those 3 cards sum up my style.

I just love Elise's use of white space and her sweet coloring.  I also adore her use of patterned paper in her stamping with her paper-pieced designs!  She inspires me to want to create some alphabet stamps so that I can see what cute punny phrase she'll come up with next!  :)
