Puppy Dog Kisses Cards with Angelica and Juliana

Hi friends, Angelica here with a fun birthday card featuring puppies from the Puppy Dog Kisses stamp set. I am in a family full of dog lovers, and this stamp set is perfect to make quick cards for them!

I stamped the two puppies onto white card stock, then used the following Copic Markers to color them: Dark Puppy: E42, E43, E44 for dark fur, E40, E41 for light fur, R00; Light Puppy: E11, E13, E15, R20, R00

I also stamped the cake and party hats from the Party Pups stamp set. I colored the hats in a rainbow order, and used the following colors for the cake:  E70, E74, E77 for the cake; bones- C01, C00; ribbon- R59, R29, R24; Platter- B93, B95, B97; Candles-or R20, Y38, YR04. I used the coordinating dies to cut the puppies, and the coordinating dies to cut the hats and cake.

To assemble the card, I trimmed a pattern paper from the Rainbow Bright Paper Pack to 5.25x4. I used the smaller rectangle from the Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies set to cut out a window. I also die-cut 3 white frames and stacked them for height. I glued the Frame on, and added foam adhesive to the back of the panel. I blended Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink onto white card stock, then stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder the sentiment after the Oxide ink was dry.

I used the Wishes Word Die to cut the word three times so I could stack them for height. I glued the word onto the inked background, and adhered it to an A2 size white card base. I attached the pattern paper panel to the card base, and used foam adhesive squares to add the puppies and cake. My final touch was adding Crystal Glaze to the word for shine.

Hello friends! It's Juliana Michaels with you to share a birthday card I created featuring the Puppy Dog Kisses Stamp Set. I combined it with two other Sunny Studio puppy themed stamp sets to create a happy little scene!

To get started, I stamped images from the Puppy Dog Kisses, Party Pups and Puppy Parents Stamp Set and colored them with Copic Markers. I then die cut them using the coordinating die sets.

For the card base, I cut a piece of the striped patterned paper from the Rainbow Bright 6x6 Paper Pad to 4.25 x 5.5 inches. I then cut a piece of white cardstock to 4 x 5.5 inches and adhered it to the center of the striped paper. Next, I die cut a piece of green patterned paper from the Classic Gingham 6x6 Paper Pad using the grass die from the Comic Strip Die Set. I then adhered all the puppies as if they were playing in the grass.

To finish the card, I used the Happy Word Die to cut a piece of blue heart patterned paper from the Rainbow Bright 6x6 Paper Pad. I adhered this below the scene and then stamped the rest of the sentiment using stamps from the Puppy Dog Kisses Stamp Set.

Purrfect Birthday Wishes Come True Birthday Card with Lexa

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with an adorable card for any cat lovers our there. I paired Purrfect Birthday Stamps with Wishes Word Dies and Heartfelt Wishes Stamps for this card. Let's get started right away.

First of all, I stamped three cats and their party hats from Purrfect Birthday Stamps with Versafine black ink and watercolor each of them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to perfectly cut everything. I want to create a vertical layout for this card, to highlight the main images I use pink patterned paper and adhered in front of the dark brown cardstock. 

The Wishes Word Dies are cut twice, once on pink cardstock and the other on kraft. I layered them to create a fake shadow effect. The sentiment from Heartfelt Wishes Stamps complete this card beautifully. Last but not least, I add some pretty sequins to add dimensions and textures.

Ric Rac Borders Birthday Wishes Card with Eloise

Hi friends, Eloise here and today I have a birthday card to share with you all using Ric Rac Borders, Birthday Balloon and the Wishes Word Die.

To begin my card today, I first cut ten borders from Ric Rac Borders out of five colours of cardstock. I used a green, yellow, orange, pink and purple. Once they were all cut out I adhered them in a pattern diagonally onto a white card base with some liquid glue. Next, I pulled the Birthday Balloon stamp set out, and stamped and layered up a blue balloon. I used a dark blue since I feel like it matches my colour scheme better. Once that was stamped, I also stamped a string and cut them out using the coordinating dies and my scissors for the string. I set them aside and worked on my sentiment.

For my sentiment, I cut the Wishes Word Die from some navy blue and black cardstock. I then used liquid glue to layer them up to seem like there was a shadow behind the word. I added foam tape onto the back and adhered it down onto my card base. I then added foam tape to the balloon as well as the string and adhered those down also. I made it seem like the balloon was floating off the 'wishes' word. Last step was to finish off my sentiment, I used the Team Player stamp set and white heat embossed 'birthday' onto a strip of black cardstock, I then adhered that down and adhered it above the 'wishes' word also.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Karin Akesdotter

Hi everyone! It's Karin Akesdotter here from Peppermintpatty's Papercraft. I'm so excited to share a new card that I've created with Sunny Studio Stamp's spring 2018 release!

I made a panel by layering striped and polka dot paper. I also added a lacy edged die cut using the Stitched Scallop dies. I die cut the Wishes Word die from white cardstock and adhered a few layers of that to create dimension.

I then stamped, colored and die cut the adorable ballerinas and some sweet roses before adhering them to the card with foam adhesive and adhesive tape. Finally I made a card base and adhered the panel to it with foam adhesive.

For this card I matted a white card base with green polka dot patterned paper and then die cut a panel from Neenah solar white cardstock. I stamped my cats and then masked them so I could ink the background. 

When I was done inking I spattered the background before I removed the masking. I used Copics for the coloring and then added some adhesive dots. I adhered the panel to the card using foam adhesive.

I made a panel from striped paper and adhered it to a scalloped black card base. I also added a lacy edge die cut with Stitched Scallop dies. I die cut the Wishes Word die from white cardstock and adhered a few layers of that to create dimension.

I then stamped, colored and fuzzy cut the adorable ballerina, two pairs of ballerina shoes and some sweet roses before adhering them to the card with foam adhesive and adhesive tape. Finally I made a card base and adhered the panel to it with foam adhesive.

Bundled Up Watercolored Background Winter Wishes Card with Vanessa

Hi everybody! Vanessa here today with a winter card using Bundled Up. I love the cute little penguin and wanted to play with it, so here comes the result:

First, I applied watercolors to a panel of watercolor paper to create the background and adhered the panel to the card after it was dried. Now I stamped the penguin an its accessories and colored it with Copics, fussy-cut everything and adhered it to the card with foam tape. 

I stamped the sentiment from Heartfelt Wishes onto a strip of aqua cardstock, heat-embossed it with white embossing powder and adhered it. Then I die-cut "wishes" using the Wishes Word Die from black cardstock and adhered it. To finish the card off, I die-cut matching stars and added matching sequins.

Quilted Hexagons Rainbow Birthday Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I have a rainbow card for you all using the new Quilted Hexagons stamp and coordinating dies. This set for me screams rainbow and fun colour combo designs. This set is perfect for simple or elaborate backgrounds and is going to be a new favourite for me!

To begin my card I stamped the long line of hexagons along a piece of white cardstock. I used black ink and also clear embossed over them to make sure they didn't smudge at all. Once everything was stamped, I moved onto die cutting the hexagons to fit inside.

Before cutting them all out, I cut two pieces of watercolour paper into strips and ink blended all of them with a different colour of Distress Ink using rainbow colours. So one pink, one red, one orange etc. Once they were all inked I splattered them with water and dried them. I then used the largest hexagon die that comes with the coordinating dies and die cut 6 out of each colour. Once they were all die cut I added foam tape behind all of them.

I adhered all my hexagons in colour order into each of the stamped hexagons. So a line of pink, a line of red etc. Some of them I had to cut in half to make them fit on both ends, but six on m size of panel worked fine. Once they were all adhered I adhered my panel to a black card base.

For my sentiment, I used the Wishes Word Die and die cut it out of black cardstock. I added foam tape behind and adhered it to the right side of my card. I also then pulled the Oceans of Joy stamp set out and stamped the 'birthday' word from the stamp set onto black cardstock and white heat embossed it. I trimmed it out on my trimmer and adhered it to my card also and that finished up my card.
