Sunflower Fields Cards with Anja and Vanessa

Hi everyone, Anja here and today I'm showcasing the Sunflower Fields Stamps which is another awesome layering stamp set.

I started with a light aqua A2 card base and did some gradient ink blending on a piece of textured watercolor paper. The Distress Oxide Ink colors I used are Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord and Milled Lavender. I cut out the panel with a stitched rectangle die which is included in the Frilly Frames Retro Petals set. I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink in the bottom right corner and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.

Next, I stamped all the layers of the sunflower, leaves and bees (can you see how small those are?!). You can find all the inks I used listed below. I cut out the images with the coordinating dies and adhered them to my card. I popped up the sunflower and bees with foam tape. To finish it off, I added golden glitter enamel dots and Nuvo Jewel Drops in the color Pale Periwinkle.

Dye Inks used (all inks by Altenew and *MFT): Sunflower: Buttercream, Warm Sunshine, *Lemon Drop, Caramel Toffee, Paper Bag, Dark Chocolate, *Chocolate Brown; Leaves: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, *Field Day, Evergreen; Honey Bees: Warm Sunshine, *Chocolate Brown, Dew Drop

Hi everybody! Vanessa here today with a CAS card using the beautiful Sunflower Fields set. Mendi creates the most beautiful layered stamps, it amazes me every time!

I first stamped the sunflower onto a panel of white cardstock and masked it, then I stamped the leaf and the bee. Now I die-cut the Hello Word Die from the panel, raised it with brown fun foam and adhered everything to my card base that I had covered with brown cardstock. Finally, I added clear droplets.

That sunflower is so pretty, I love all the shadows! For my stamping, I used the following inks: Flower: MFT Sunshine, Hero Arts Butter Bar, Hero Arts Pumpkin Pie, Hero Arts Cup O'Joe, Tsukineko Tuxedo Black; Leaf: MFT Sour Apple, Distress Ink Mowed Lawn, MFT Green Eyed Monster

Sunflower Fields Cards with Eloise and Leanne

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I’ll be using the Sunflower Fields Stamp Set to create a thank you card.

I started off with stamping out the images from the Sunflower Fields Stamp Set. I used various dye inks for each image. I stamped 7 flowers, 7 leaves and 3 bees. Once they were stamped, I cut them out. While I was die-cutting I also die cut out a white frame and also a Kraft coloured speech bubble from the Comic Strip Speech Bubble Dies.

I added foam tape onto the backs of all my images and adhered them onto a piece of blue cardstock. I then adhered the white frame around the piece as well.

For my sentiment, I white heat embossed the ‘Many Thanks’ from Sunflower Fields onto the speech bubble I die cut earlier. I added more foam tape on to the back and adhered it down onto my panel. I then adhered the bees around it.

Hi Friends! Leanne here and I have a slimline card to share today that is sure to brighten anyone's day, thanks to some beautiful images from the Sunflower Fields stamp set.

My slimline Kraft card base measures 8.5" long by 3.5" wide. I created an ink blended background panel using Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I splattered the panel generously with thinned white and brown paint to give it a little more interest. I stamped out 3 sunflowers and several leaves from Sunflower Fields. I die cut with the coordinating Sunflower Fields dies and then arranged the images across the length of the background.  

Next I created a custom greeting to layer over the sunflowers. The stamped part, which is white heat embossed on dark brown card stock, is from the Sunny Sentiments set. I then added the die cut Sunshine Word to complete the greeting. Lastly I added a few stamped bees, also from Sunflower Fields, and some white Nuvo Crystal drops.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Amy Kolling

Hello! It's Amy from Stamp-n-Paradise and I'm excited to be here today to share with you some cards using some of the Fall 2019 Release! 

Let's start with the fabulous Sunflower Fields stamps. I am a Kansas girl so we have fields of sunflowers growing and it's almost time for peak time! I can't wait! Using various Altenew inks, the sunflowers and leaves were stamped and die cut.

The sunflowers were added over a background of Frilly Frames Retro Petals. It was die cut from white cardstock but leaving some of the petals in place. I love using dies like this as it adds just a bit of texture! The frame was added over a piece of gorgeous blue pattern paper from Heroic Halftones. For the sentiment, I added two hand trimmed banner strips that were white heat embossed.

My second card uses the adorable critters from Woodsy Autumn. I created my scene with various pattern papers from Heroic Halftones and Striped Silly.  

My images were all Copic colored, die cut, and added to my scene with foam adhesive. A simple white heat embossed black sentiment strip was added. To round out my images, I added white details with a white pigment pen.
