Make A Wish Cards with Rachel and Lexa

Hello everyone! Rachel here and I'm back to share a cute 2"x3" stamp set called Make a Wish.

I love the fun little cake that comes with this set!  It's the perfect addition to almost any birthday card. I paired this set with the Turtley Awesome Stamp Set.

I colored all of my images with Copic Sketch Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Colors Used: Cake: E50, Y21, Y23, E31, E33; Frosting: E71, E74, E77, E79, E29; Blues: B0000, B000, B00, B02, B05; Greens: YG01, YG06, YG17, YG99 

For the base of my card, I used a small piece of yellow patterned paper from the Gingham Pastels Paper Pack and dry embossed the bottom portion of white card stock with the gorgeous Quilted Hearts Embossing Folder.

Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder onto a strip of black card stock and I adhered my images to the front of my card with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares.

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with an interactive 3D card featuring Make A Wish Stamps and the coordinating dies. The idea is to create a table setting with some foods and of course a birthday cake for the felines. They look even cuter with birthday hats.

First, I stamped the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to die cut each pieces. I use Fast Food Fun Stamps for the foods on the table, and the smallest oval from Stitched Oval Dies for the plates. 

The pink table cloth is from Flirty Flowers Paper Pad. The yellow napkin is created with leftover gingham paper and I fold it, yes it's that easy! When the table is all set, I adhere the little felines from Purrrfect Birthday Stamp with some strong adhesive to make sure they all stay in place. And let's the party begin!

Here's how the card looks like when it's folded, it's 4.5"x5.5" and you can mail it easily too.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Wanda Guess

Hi everyone! Wanda Guess here! I'm very happy and excited to be the guest designer today on the Sunny Studio Blog! I'm always delighted to work with the beautiful and fun stamps and dies from Sunny Studio! They are some of the faves in my craft room for sure. For today's post I combined a bunch of different stamp sets and created two cards. One is super bright and cute, and the other is more sophisticated with a neutral palette. First up today is a super fun birthday card with those adorable new monkeys! I love them! I stamped and die cut out a bunch of monkeys and vines. I also made them some accessories like cake and party hats! I used the Purrfect Birthday stamp set for those add-ons. 

Then, for the sentiment I used the Two Scoops stamp set. Really, when I make cards, I love to mix and match to create my own unique creation. This is a long card - measuring 8" x 4". I love the Staggered Circles die cut and cut that out of a white panel. 

I backed the circles with beautiful blue gingham paper. I had fun coloring everything with my Copics in shades of blue, yellow and pink. Who wouldn't want to party with these guys? The top white layer with the circles was mounted to the card using foam tape. 

Then I attached the monkeys and vines with foam tape also. Just the right amount of dimension, but not too much that it won't fit into an envelope. 

My second project is a card made with lots of neutral colors and the gorgeous Everything's Rosy stamp set. I also used the beautiful Quilted Hearts embossing folder and some brown gingham. This card is an A2 size with a kraft card base. 

The flowers were stamped onto cream cardstock. The embossed background is also on cream cardstock. I layered gingham, vellum and kraft for my focal point of the card. I wrapped the kraft layer with pretty natural twine. 

I used gold paint to splatter gold flecks onto the cream embossed layer and the small kraft layer. Just a bit of added elegance. I stamped the roses using my MISTI in dark pink and pretty green shades. The sentiment is from the Happy Harvest stamp set! 

See - you don't have to only use that set for autumn! The roses and leaves were mounted onto the card with foam tape. I added a few sparkly pink enamel dots to finish it off.
