Frilly Frames Dies Cards with Anja and Vanessa

Hi everyone, Anja here and today I'm highlighting the new Frilly Frames Chevron Dies. I combined this versatile 2-piece die set with the Fabulous Flamingos Stamps.

It's always fun to try new color combos, so I picked some bright and fresh colors for my summer birthday card. I started off with an A2 card base made from white cardstock. I used both dies together and cut the pinked frame with the chevron pattern from blush pink cardstock. Then I used the chevron die and cut it from three other cardstock colors. I repeatedly inlaid the chevrons into the blush pink die-cut.

Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating Fabulous Flamingos Dies to cut them out. The sentiment is included in the Party Pups Stamps set and I stamped it in VersaMark Ink on a thin black cardstock strip and white heat embossed it. To finish off my card, I adhered three matching enamel dots.

Hello everybody! Vanessa here today with a colorful summer card using the Frilly Frames Stripes Dies. It took me a while to assemble this card, because a lot of die-cutting was involved, but I love the result!

I first die-cut the frame from Kraft cardstock. Then I die-cut it from all the colors I had in my cardstock scrap stash. I assembled the frame and adhered it to the card base. Now I stamped the fruit images from Fresh & Fruity and Tropical Paradise onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics, fussy-cut the elements and adhered them to the card.

Next, I die-cut the Happy Word Die from white cardstock and fun foam and adhered it. I stamped and heat-embossed the "summer" from Fabulous Flamingos onto a strip of black cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it with foam tape.

I hope you like my idea to use up those cardstock scraps! I have plenty of stripes left to create more colorful cards :) Thanks for stopping by!

Surprise Party Paper Cards with Anja and Vanessa

Hi everyone, Anja here today. I have a colorful birthday card for you showcasing the Surprise Party 6x6 Papers. It's full of fun and bold patterns in happy rainbow colors. I combined these papers with the Party Pups Stamps and one of the Build-A-Tag #2 Dies.

I started off with a white A2 card base and die cut the balloon and sprinkles paper with two sizes of stitched rectangles. For the tag, I chose the blue tone-in-tone paper from one of the backsides.

Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. And know what? The party hat die from this set matches the patterned paper so I cut one out for the dog.

I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink directly onto the tag and white heat embossed it. I pulled a gingham ribbon through the tag hole and tied a small bow using white thread. I adhered the tag with foam tape and added Doodlebug Shape Sprinkles.

Hello everybody! Vanessa here with a colorful card using the wonderful Surprise Party Paper. Anyone in for rainbow clouds?

I started with a panel of white cardstock and embossed the cloud shapes. Then I die-cut the clouds from the patterned paper, adhered them and stitched through their centers. After I had stamped the sentiment from Over the Rainbow, I adhered the panel to the card.

Now I stamped the girl from Fall Kiddos, colored it with Copics, die-cut it with the matching die and adhered it to the card with foam tape.

We've been drowning in buckets of rain, so I could do with those rainbow clouds! Hopefully they brightened your day :) Thank you for stopping by, have a wonderful week!

Surprise Party Paper Cards with Angelica and Juliana

Hi everyone! Angelica here, and I have a fun project to share today. I LOVE the Surprise Party paper pack. Every paper is so vibrant! They're double sided, filled with bright celebration patterns on one side, and tone-on-tone patterns on the back. I used the tone-on-tone sides for my card today.

I stamped five 2-layered star balloons from the Bold Balloons Stamp set.  I used the coordinating die to cut them out, then added shimmer and Crystal Glaze for shine.

On the top side of a horizontal 8.5 X 4.25 card base, I stamped confetti from the same stamp set. Next I positioned the balloons where I wanted them on the card base, and marked their spots. I used a multiliner pen and a T-ruler to draw balloon strings from the marked spots to the middle of the card base. 

I cut a thin strip of black card stock, and glued it where the balloon strings stopped. I used the Happy die to die cut black card stock 4 times, then stacked and glued them for height. I cut 3/8 inch strips of pattern paper, then glued the strips under the black line, using a grid to keep my strips straight. 

Once the balloons were dry, I adhered them with foam adhesive. I used glue to attach the die cut word, then added shimmer and Crystal glaze to match the balloons. I picked words from Happy Thoughts stamp set to stamp and white heat-emboss onto black card stock. I trimmed the words down to strips, and attached them to the card with thin foam squares.

Hello Friends! It's Juliana here and I'm very happy to back with you this week after taking a break last week for our move into our new home! Today I'm sharing a birthday themed gift box featuring the Wrap Around Box Dies, Silly Sloths Stamps and the Surprise Party Paper Pad!

To create the box, I used the Wrap Around Box Dies and I followed the wonderful instructions found in this blog post. I began with a solid piece of teal cardstock. I then used some of the fun patterns from the Surprise Party Paper Pad to decorate each side of the box. For the oval frames, I used the plain stitched oval in the Fancy Frames Oval Dies.

Once the box was complete, I started stamping the adorable sloths and leaves from the Silly Sloths Stamps. I colored them in using Copic Markers and then die cut them using the Silly Sloths Dies. After all of the coloring and die cutting was complete, I began adding a sloth and some leaves to each section to create a little scene.

Because I wanted this to be a birthday gift box, I knew those cute little sloths needed some party hats! The adorable Party Pups Stamps had just what I needed and they fit the sloths perfectly! Another option for party hats can also be found on the Purrfect Birthday Stamps.

To finish off the gift box, I created 2 small tags using the tag dies that are part of the Wrap Around Box Dies. I stamped Happy Birthday on one of them using “happy” from the Fabulous Flamingos Stamps and “birthday” from the Silly Sloths Stamps.

Originally, I only had the one tag with the sentiment, but then I saw those cute sloth faces and knew it would fit perfectly on one of those tags.

To adhere the tags, I added a length of yellow craft floss to each tag. I dropped the ends of the floss into the box opening and once I had the tags hanging out as far as I wanted them, I adhered them in place with a bit of adhesive and then trimmed off the excess floss.

Puppy Dog Kisses Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hi everybody! Vanessa here with a card using the adorable Puppy Dog Kisses Stamps. I am still in the mood for spring, so my puppies are standing in a bed of flowers.

First, I inked the front of a white card base with a cloud stencil and Distress Oxide Inks. Then I die-cut the Woodland Borders Die from green cardstock and adhered it. Now I die-cut the Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies from pink patterned paper from the Flirty Flowers Paper and adhered the frames. 

After I had stamped the sentiment from the Party Pups set, I stamped the flowers and dogs onto white cardstock. I colored the images with Copics, die-cut them with the matching dies and adhered everything, popping up some parts with foam tape.

Hello everyone, Anja here today with an interactive card. I rarely create these kind of cards but the Sliding Window Die makes it soo easy!

First, I created an A2 card base from aqua cardstock. I die cut a stitched rectangle from the violet grid patterned paper (Gingham Pastels 6x6 Paper) which is slightly smaller. Next, I used the sliding window die to create the interactive part. It's a flap with three folds that can be popped up – but the card can be mailed flat into an envelope. Make sure to only put adhesive to the outside frame when adhering it to your card.

I kept the design of my card front pretty simple and decorated it with a white heat embossed birthday sentiment (Everyday Greetings Stamps), a cake (Make A Wish Stamps) and three die cut hearts (Basic Mini Shape Dies).

When you fold the flap up, the inside will be revealed. And here is my fun surprise – the two cute dogs from the Puppy Dog Kisses set are ready to celebrate and they brought a pile of gifts, too.

The gifts are from two other stamp sets (Alpaca Holiday Stamps and Foxy Christmas Stamps). I stamped all images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. In the background, I blended together two Distress Oxide Inks (Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass) on a piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock.
