Embossing Folder Focused Cards with Juliana and Angelica

Hello friends! It's Juliana here today to share a mixed media style card featuring the new Lots of Dots Embossing Folder.

To get started, I die cut a piece of Bristol Paper using the stitched border die from the Frilly Frames Retro Petals Die. I then embossed this using the Lots of Dots Embossing Folder. Next, I took a rainbow of Distress Oxide inks and applied them at a diagonal  rainbow order across the embossed paper. For this card I used Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Mowed Lawn, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemon, Picked Raspberries and Candied Apple. I then splattered water onto the paper using a small paint brush and dabbed it dry with a paper towel.

To further add to the mixed media style I then splattered a slightly darker Distress Ink onto each section. I used Seedless Preserves, Faded Jeans, Peeled Paint, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, and Festive Berries. To do this, I tapped the ink pad onto my glass mat, added a bit of water and then picked up the ink and water with a small paint brush and splattered it into the corresponding section of color.

Once the background was complete, I then went about adding the sentiment. I die cut the Rainbow Word Die from black cardstock 3 times and glued them together. I then stamped the sentiments from the Over The Rainbow Stamp Set onto white cardstock and trimmed it into small strips.

Since you can't have a rainbow without a little rain, I decided to add some clouds cut from white cardstock using the Fluffy Clouds Dies. I then finished it off with some Clear Drops Mix #2 to represent the rain!

Hi friends, Angelica here with a set of Hello cards showcasing the Moroccan Circles Embossing Folder. These cards are great to have on hand, and are an easy gift to make for a loved one. 

I started with three panels of white card stock. I put each panel into the embossing folder and ran it through my die-cut machine. I picked the back-side of the embossed panels to add ink to. 

I used ink cubes to add color. I picked a light and a medium light ink from a few Altenew color families. I rubbed the the ink cubes directly onto the paper, using light pressure in a circular motion. I blended light into medium light twice on each panel. Once I was finished, I set the panels aside to dry.

I used the Hello die to die-cut twelve words from black card stock. I glued and stacked two words together for each card. I made six card bases, and used my MISTI to stamp a sentiment onto each card from the Cute As A Button stamp set.  

My last step before assembling the cards was getting envelopes ready. I picked coordinating colors, put the back flap of each envelope into the Moroccan Circles embossing folder, and ran them through my die-cut machine. 

I cut each panel down to two small rectangles, and used double-sided adhesive to attach the rectangles to the card bases. I added the words with glue to finish the cards. 

I love how these cards turned out. And the embossed envelopes finish the set with a wonderful subtle touch. hope I have given you new ideas on how to use embossing folders. Thanks for stopping by!

Fluffy Clouds with Franci and Mona

Hi there and happy Wednesday! Franci here with all of you today with a colorful happy card featuring the Fluffy Clouds set by Sunny Studio.

I created my card base in white and then I die cut lots of fluffy clouds out of the same cardstock. Then I die cut a piece of rainbow paper from the Surprise Party pad and a little sun from the Classic Gingham pad using the die included in the Comic Strip Everyday dies set.

I layered everything on to my card and glued all the elements down with a combo of liquid glue and foam adhesive. I also added some sequins at the top and some details with the Wink of Stella clear brush.

Finally I stamped my sentiment from the Over the Rainbow set on the bottom and added a little heart from the Home Sweet Gnome set.

Hi crafty friends! It's Mona here, today I am showing you a really easy interactive card with the Fluffy Clouds Dies.

I started the card making with ink blending with Shaded Lilac and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks.

Next I styled the clouds with the stitched edges on the background, and I ran them through my die-cut machine.

Next I created the rainbow stripes with my Copic Sketch Markers. I used a ruler and I made rainbow stripes with the chisel nib. Used Copics: Y13,RV02, BG01, BG11,BV00.

Once it was done I stamped and colored the cute stars with the Best Fishes Stamp Set and for some stars I made a clear die-cut too and I adhered clear fishing lines between the papers so when I shake my card it will shake too. When it was done I stamped the sentiments from the Over the Rainbow sentiment stamp with black ink to the teal cardstock.

The next step was the die-cutting! YAY! I die-cut 2 parts of the Rainbow Word die sentiment and I adhered a clear fishing line between the die-cuts then I styled the sentiment. Once it was done, I adhered it to the back side of the front paper, and because of this the sentiment can move.

When it was done I made 4pc of Fluffy Cloud die-cut, folded them in half and adhered together and I got a cool 3D cloud. I repeated the process and I also made "single" clouds too, and added eyes to them with a bubble stamp from the Best Fishes stamp set.

In the end I put my card together and I can tell you, I really love this soft and cute result. I hope you like this inspiration, have an amazing day. Bye.

Surprise Party Paper Cards with Anja and Vanessa

Hi everyone, Anja here today. I have a colorful birthday card for you showcasing the Surprise Party 6x6 Papers. It's full of fun and bold patterns in happy rainbow colors. I combined these papers with the Party Pups Stamps and one of the Build-A-Tag #2 Dies.

I started off with a white A2 card base and die cut the balloon and sprinkles paper with two sizes of stitched rectangles. For the tag, I chose the blue tone-in-tone paper from one of the backsides.

Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. And know what? The party hat die from this set matches the patterned paper so I cut one out for the dog.

I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink directly onto the tag and white heat embossed it. I pulled a gingham ribbon through the tag hole and tied a small bow using white thread. I adhered the tag with foam tape and added Doodlebug Shape Sprinkles.

Hello everybody! Vanessa here with a colorful card using the wonderful Surprise Party Paper. Anyone in for rainbow clouds?

I started with a panel of white cardstock and embossed the cloud shapes. Then I die-cut the clouds from the patterned paper, adhered them and stitched through their centers. After I had stamped the sentiment from Over the Rainbow, I adhered the panel to the card.

Now I stamped the girl from Fall Kiddos, colored it with Copics, die-cut it with the matching die and adhered it to the card with foam tape.

We've been drowning in buckets of rain, so I could do with those rainbow clouds! Hopefully they brightened your day :) Thank you for stopping by, have a wonderful week!

Staggered Circles Dies Cards with Franci and Mona

Hello there! Franci here with you today with a happy card featuring the Staggered Circles set. I decided to create a rainbow inspired card with these fun circles and I'm so happy about how it turned out!

First of all I created a standard size card and I cut down a coordinated panel both out of white cardstock. I placed the die onto my panel at an angle and passed it through my big shot machine. Then I colored all my circles in rainbow colors with Distress inks and I also inked the backs of all my "circle windows" onto the front of my card to make it even more colorful :)

I glued down all my circles and the panel with foam adhesive then I die cut the Rainbow word and these little hearts out of some Preppy Prints paper and added them to my design.

Finally I stamped my sentiment from the Over the Rainbow stamp set and the card is complete! Hope you like it too and thank you so much for stopping by today, have a lovely day!

Hi crafty friends! It's Mona here, today I am showing you a sweet card featuring Breakfast Puns Stamp Set and Staggered Circle Dies.

I started the cardmaking with die-cutting. I used the Staggered Circle Dies to create a fun look in the background. When it was done I made dry-embossing with Dapper Diamonds Embossing Folder. When it was done I colored it with brown watercolors and it turned to ice cream wafer.

Next I made ink blending in the background. I used my Distresses in the following order: Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar and the result is a fresh "jelly" color look in the background.

The next step was heat embossing. I stamped the sentiment to the background from the Breakfast Puns and heated with white embossing powder.

The last process on my card was stamping and coloring. I stamped many cute strawberries hearts and cute toasts with the Breakfast Puns Stamp Set and colored them with Copic Markers.

Copic Markers used: 0, RV52, RV02, RV04, RV06, RV55, RV66, R20, R24, R29, R59, YG01, YG03, YG93, E42, E43, E30, E33, E35, E44, E47

I styled my card, adhered the parts together and finished my card. In the end I added a little sparkle to the white die-cuts with Wink of Stella clear brush marker.
