Santa Claus Lane Cards with Anja and Vanessa

Hello everyone, Anja here with another inspiration card using products from the latest Winter Release which help to build a gorgeous holiday scene quickly.

I immediately fell in love with this beautiful patterned paper from the Very Merry 6x6 Paper pack. It's the perfect winter night scene and the glowing moon looks amazing!

I combined it with the cute Santa Clause Lane Stamps. The images were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For the sentiment, I die cut the word 'merry' included in the Christmas Garland Frame Die set from red glitter cardstock and adhered it across the moon. Next, I stamped the words in VersaMark Ink above and below it and heat embossed them with silver embossing powder. I added silver star sequins to complete my card.

Hello to you! Vanessa here today with a slim sized card using the adorable Santa Claus Lane Stamps. I love the new Very Merry 6x6 Paper, especially the landscape backgrounds Mendi is providing with this paper pad.

First, I trimmed the patterned paper slightly smaller than the width of the card and adhered it. Now I die-cut snow drifts, using the sand dune from the Oceans of Joy Dies, inked the bottom slightly with Distress Ink and adhered them. I stamped all the images, colored them with Copics, die-cut them with the matching dies and adhered the elements to the card.

Finally, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of red cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it to the card. I so love the new cute Christmas stamps! Here I added a tree from the Seasonal Trees set and a larger present from the Playful Polar Bears set.

Moroccan Circles Embossing Focused Cards by Eloise and Leanne

Hello friends, Eloise here and today I’m using the new Moroccan Circles Embossing Folder and pairing it with Staggered Circles Dies and Make A Wish Stamp Set to create a birthday card.

I started off with running through the Staggered Circles Dies on a piece of white cardstock. I made sure to leave the fifth circle out while die cutting to make sure I had four circles to create shakers. Once it was die-cut I also ran through the piece with the Moroccan Circles Embossing Folder. I flipped over the panel and added adhesive and acetate on the back. I then added foam tape around the circles. I sprinkled some Birthday Cake Dot Sprinkles into each of the openings and then removed the backers and adhered a green piece of cardstock over the top.

Next, I stamped some images from Make A Wish and Oceans of Joy and coloured them in with Copic Markers. I used the sprinkles set as inspiration for colours. Once they were coloured, I cut them all out.

I added foam tape onto the backs of the images and adhered them into place. For the sentiment I used one of the extra circles that I die cut earlier and stamped the ‘Make A Wish’ sentiment on there from Make A Wish with black ink. I added foam tape onto the back and adhered it into place.

Hello everyone, Leanne here! I'm sharing my first fall card of the season. I simply could not wait to use some of the new fall themed products. I also used the Moroccan Circles embossing folder to add interest to the card without taking away from the focal point.  

I started with a yellow card stock panel trimmed slightly smaller than A2 size. I embossed the panel with the Moroccan Circles folder to add texture and pattern. This embossing folder is such a great basic pattern but one that's perfect for a fall themed card. I added a 1.5" strip of pattern paper from the Colorful Autumn paper pad to the embossed panel. I tired a piece of twine around the panel and adhered to my card base with foam tape. 

I wanted to create a small fall scene as the focal point of the card using a few images from the Woodsy Autumn stamp set. I stamped the images in Copic friendly brown ink and colored to coordinate with the pattern paper. I die cut the images with the Woodsy Autumn dies. I then arranged them on a die cut Fancy Frames Square panel that has some light ink blending for the sky and ground.  

I adhered the completed scene to the card with some foam tape so it's popped up from the decorative background panel. I stamped a greeting from Woodsy Autumn and trimmed into a skinny strip to layer over the scene. I added a few sequins to finish off the card.

Cruising Critters Cards with Leanne and Eloise

Hello everyone, Leanne here! I’m very excited to start sharing what I’ve created using the new fall release products. Today’s featured set is so fun. I’ve made a slider card with the car full of cute critters. This card is A2 size with a cityscape background ... so easy to build using some of the new stand alone dies. 

Let’s break it down layer by layer. First I blended some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink onto the top of the card base for the sky layer. Next I cut out a cloud border with the Fluffy Clouds Border Die and adhered to the card front. For the city buildings I used the Cityscape Border Die. I cut this layer out of grey card stock and backed it pale yellow. I then added it onto the card while allowing the top of the clouds to be visible.  

Next I created the road with a strip of black card stock and white heat embossed the dashed line. The dashed line is stamp included in the Cruising Critters stamp set. I Copic colored the car of critters and cut out with the coordinating Cruising Critters die set. I cut out a channel for the slider part along the top edge of the road and centered lengthwise. Since the car is pretty good size, the slider channel gets hidden underneath while still allowing the car to slide from one side to the other.  

Lastly, I added a greeting that is part die cut and part stamped. The “cruising” was created with a die from the coordinating Cruising Critter die set. I built the second half of the greeting with stamps from Cruising Critters.

Hello friends, Eloise here and today we are using the brand-new Cruising Critters Stamp Set. I’m creating a birthday card with this set and pulling in the Oceans of Joy Stamp Set for a balloon to make it more birthday themed.

To start off I stamped out the image from Cruising Critters and Oceans of Joy and coloured them in with Copic Markers. Once they were coloured, I cut them out.

For my background, I used the new Frilly Frames Hexagon Dies and used partial die cutting to make it a little shorter. I then took a piece of watercolour cardstock cut it down to fit inside and ink blended some blue clouds over the background. I then cut down a rectangle to the same width but 1 ¼” high and stamped the small lines that create the road. I white heat embossed them and then ink blended over the piece with Black Soot Distress Ink. I also cut down another piece and used the Sunny Sentiments Die Set for the grassy border and die cut it. I ink blended some green ink over the piece as well. I then adhered all three pieces together and then onto the scallop frame.

I then added foam tape onto the backs of all my images and adhered them into place. I took a pink piece of cardstock, cut a small strip and white heat embossed the ‘Birthday Smiles’ sentiment on it. I took a little bit of darker pink ink and ink blended it at the bottom of the piece. I added more foam tape onto the back and adhered it over the car image. I tied a small piece of coral hemp cord onto the side of the sentiment for added texture.

Hello everyone! It's Ana here today and I am so excited to be sharing my first post as a Sunny Studio Design Team member! For today's post I made a birthday card featuring adorable Best Fishes stamps and coordinating dies, as well as Catch a Wave dies and Summer Splash patterned paper.

I started with creating the background with waves patterned paper from Summer Splash collection, trimming it to A2 size. To create the waves, I used Catch a Wave dies then added Snow Pen to add white caps. On the bottom half of the background panel I inked Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers Distress inks.

I created the sand next, by inking Wilted Violet and Picked Raspberry Distress inks on Bristol paper and die cutting them with sandy beach border die from Oceans of Joy die set.

For the sky, I inked Salty Ocean then used Fluffy Clouds Dies to add the stitched clouds.

I stamped and Copic colored the images from Best Fishes stamp set, and few (rock, green plant and coral) from Magical Mermaids stamp set. Once all images were colored, I used coordinating dies to cut them out. To an A2 size card base I adhered the waves and sand panels, using craft foam.

I stamped the sentiment (from Best Fishes stamp set) next, then added the images adhering some directly to the background and some with foam tape.

To finish off the card I added bubbles with white Pigment ink, and embellished with Nuvo drops in Morning Dew.
