Missing Ewe and Cute As A Button Friendship Card with Lexa

Hello and Happy New Year everyone! Lexa here and today I'll be using some older stamp sets, Missing Ewe and Cute As A Button stamp sets along with their coordinating dies.

To start my card, I stamped the little sheep with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. As for the buttons, I made it with two colors pink and purple. After I finished with the coloring and all elements, I use the coordinating dies to die cut them all. With pink twines going through the needle, it adds a whimsical design and some textures. I blend Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for the background, totally love the color combination in the end. 

Arranging every pieces to the card is always the most fun part. Some of the images are adhered with glue while I use foam tapes for some others. It gives such a nice dimensions that's needed for such a simple card. I really hope you like the final result as much as I do.

Barnyard Buddies and Missing Ewe Shadow Box Card with Amy

Hello everyone! Amy here today with a shadow box card that uses the Barnyard Buddies and Missing Ewe stamp sets. These farm animal images are some of the sweetest and the cutest I've ever seen! It's a fun set for sure.

For today's card, I used extra images that I stamped and colored (with copics) from my previous projects. I didn't want it to go to waste, so I made a box card for them. Box cards are great for creating dimensional scenes, and they fold flat for easy shipping. 

I used the smaller Stitched Scallop dies to die-cut green patterned paper for the front of the card as shown. I made the hills inside the box with the wavy die from Oceans Of Joy using the same patterned paper. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark Ink, applied white embossing powder, and heat set it.

Missing Ewe Pretty Pastel Shaker Card with Nancy

Hey there friends, Nancy here with a closer looks at the very cute Missing Ewe stamp and steel die. I love a good pun and this one delivers. It’s sure to bring a smile to a loved one. They won’t be able to help it with this cuteness overload.

To create my card, I used a white card for the base and lined the bottom with a wide strip of patterned paper. This was my jumping point for the colors of the card. Next, I created a shaker box full of tiny stars, sequins and crystals. The jumping lamb was colored with Distress Ink in Hickory Smoke, Tattered Rose and Spun Sugar (for the cheeks). I chose a watercolor medium to keep in line with the soft look of the card. Two flags were cut out of melon colored cardstock and layered with a glittery enamel dot. 

I love the tiny script sentiment in the Missing Ewe die set. On this card, it's highlighted right in the center of the top flag. A sprinkle of sequins creates some movement in this simple design. 

Take a closer look at the Missing Ewe stamp set for all of your warm pun wishes. The intricate steel die creates a sentiment that is beautiful and really pops!

Missing Ewe Pastel Sheep Trio Thankful Card with Lexa

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a pastel color card featuring the Missing Ewe stamps and their coordinating dies. These adorable fluffy sheep are new additions to Sunny Studio critter stamps.

I rarely use my patterned papers now days, but as you can guess, I've been hoarding a lot of it. So that's why today I tried to use them as much as possible. The sweet pastel colors are always a smart choice. I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with coloring, I die cut them at once with the coordinating dies (truly a time saver!). 

I simply put them together to create a little scene. I created a green grass border using Stitched Scallop Dies on green striped patterned paper against the starry pink sky. These cute little sheep have their "pals" from another set, Easter Wishes. I used all three together in one scene. I finished my card with some yellow dots using yellow opaque Nuvo drops.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Anita Madden

Hello, it’s Anita Madden here. I’m excited to be guest designing for Sunny Studio Stamps today. I adore these new stamp sets by Mendi! I’m using two sets from the new release:  Happy Owl-o-ween and Missing Ewe. I also used some elements from the Halloween Cuties set. I used the coordinating dies from all three sets.

For my first card I colored all the images with Copics. The owl and witch costume are from Happy Owl-o-ween and the broom and bats are from Halloween Cuties. I die cut the images with the coordinating dies. I sponged distress inks onto watercolor paper that is 4 ¼ x 5 ½ and a watercolor paper circle. I misted them with water and dried them with a paper towel. I stamped the sentiment on the moon and then adhered all the images with foam tape for some dimension. 

For my second card I used the owls and costumes from the Happy Owl-o-ween set. The spider web, spider, and bats are from the Halloween Cuties set. I colored all the images with Copics and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I sponged distress inks to create the grassy area, and then used distress inks and a stencil to create the clouds. I stamped the spider web directly onto my card and adhered all the other images with foam tape. I applied Glamour Dust to the bee’s wings and antennae, and the fairies wand for a bit of sparkle. 

For my last card I used the Missing Ewe set. These little sheep are so cute! I colored them with Copics and die cut them with the coordinating dies. Once again I used distress ink to sponge the grass, and used distress inks and a stencil to sponge the clouds. I stamped a little heart in the area where the missing ewe would be standing.

Missing Ewe Starry Night Background Card with Amy

Hello there! Amy here today with a card that features the new and adorable Missing Ewe set. 

To begin, I stamped the images and colored them with Copic markers. Next, I cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added accents with white Gelly Roll pen.

I used a window frame to die-cut an opening in my front panel. Then, I used the "Miss" and "Ewe" word dies that are included in the Missing Ewe die set in order to cut out the front panel and removed the negative cuts. I used the word dies again to die-cut black cardstock. After adhering the front panel to a folded card base, I glued in the die-cut black sentiment as shown.

Next, I used the negative die-cut window and inked the background with Distress Inks in Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire and Salty Ocean. I also splattered some water, added white dots with a Gelly Roll pen, and glued on die-cut stars that I made using the star dies from Happy Owl-O-Ween dies. I added Wink Of Stella to the stars for shine. After, I adhered the negative window back into the open area in the card front.

For the scalloped ground, I cut another negative window with Stitched Scallop dies, and inked it with Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron Distress Inks. I also added texture to it by splattering it with water. Lastly, I adhered the scallop ground to the card front and mounted the sheep with foam tape.

Barnyard Buddies Farm Animal Themed Birthday Card with Lexa

Hi there! Lexa here today with a card that featuring the ultimate cuteness from Barnyard Buddies stamp and it's coordinating dies. When you can't choose which one is your favorite from the herd, use them all! 

First, I stamp all the images with Versafine black ink and then watercolor them using Distress Markers. They look more adorable after they are colored. Don't you think so? I die cut all of them with the coordinating dies and they are ready to jump into the scene. I blend Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feather Distress Inks for the sky. The whole herd is here, but someone is missing...oh I found the fluffy sheep from Missing Ewe. And they are a full team at last. 

I complete my scene using couple of trees from Happy Home, I think they are a perfect size so they look like planted behind the hills and the barn house. To match the barn, I white embossed my sentiment on a strip of red cardstock. I also do a custom sentiment by combining "birthday wishes" from Heartfelt Wishes stamp set and "from the whole herd" from Barnyard Buddies. I adhere all the animals with different height of foam tapes to create dimensions.

I adhere a pair of googly eyes for the horse and the cow, they look so cute! Which one is your favorite animal from the whole herd?
