Best Fishes Cards with Mona and Franci

Hi crafty friends! It's Mona here, today I am showing you another cute interactive card with fishing lines. This time I used the Best Fishes Stamp Set from Sunny Studio Stamps.

I started the card making with stamping the background. I used different types of underwater plants from the Magical Mermaids and Best Fishes sets. 

When the stamping was done, I made an absolute quick one minute no shading coloring then I went through the background with Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Thumbed Glass Distress Oxide inks. When the ink blending was done I splattered on it with white and blue watercolor and let it dry.

Next, I stamped and colored my images from the Magical Mermaids and Best Fishes stamp sets with my Copic Markers. I adhered 3-6 clear beads to the back of these underwater critters and let the liquid adhesive dry.

Next I created a die-cut from teal cardstock and double sided foam adhesive with the Comic Strip Everyday Dies.

Once the beads were adhered to the images I laced it up with fishing lines and adhered them to the back of the comic strip.

In the end I put everything together and the moving card was ready. I hope you like this inspiration, have an amazing day. Bye.

Hello, hello! Franci here with you today showcasing my favorite set from the latest Sunny Studio release, the Best Fishes one!

I love all these cute ocean critters so much I can't even pick a favorite! First of all I stamped, colored with my Copics and die cut all the images. Then I cut out a long stripe of white cardstock and I inked it with Distress Inks to create an ocean scene backdrop.

I added lots of sparkle to the images with the Wink of Stella brush and to my background with sparkle watercolors.

I glued down all the images with a combo of liquid glue and foam adhesive, then I added some more details with a white gel pen. Do you have a favorite critters from the set?!

Finally I adhered my panel on to a slightly taller white card base and added lots of bubbles I made with the White Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Best Fishes Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hey everyone! Vanessa here with an underwater card using the adorable Best Fishes set combined with the older sets Magical Mermaids and Oceans of Joy. I can't get enough of the lovely scenes you can create with these sets! 

First, I created the background for the scene. I inked the front of my card with various brown, green, blue and turquoise Distress Oxides. Then I took off ink with a wet brush, drawing waves with it. Now I added droplets of water and ink. 

After everything was dried, I stamped the sentiment. Finally, I stamped all the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics, die-cut everything with the matching dies and adhered the elements to the card, raising some with foam tape.

So, I am ready for summer! Hopefully we won't have to wait for long. Thank you for visiting!

Hi everyone, Anja here and today I'm back with a fun underwater scene featuring the Best Fishes Stamps. Aren't these sea creatures just adorable?!

I started with an A2 card base and adhered the orange starfish patterned paper from the Summer Splash 6x6 Paper pack. Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For my water background, I applied aqua, blue and turquoise Alcohol Inks to a piece of Yupo paper. I also sprinkled on some droplets of the blending solution to create random bubbles. I matted the panel on a piece of navy cardstock and adhered it at an angle.

I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink on a black cardstock strip and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I cut the right end into a fishtail banner shape using my scissors.

Coastal Cuties Cards with Franci and Mona

Hello there and happy Wednesday! Franci here with you today showcasing the Coastal Cuties mini set!

First of all I cut out the biggest frame from the Fancy Frames Rectangle dies from white cardstock and I also die cut a coordinated white panel that I dry embossed with the Frilly Frames Stripes die background. 

I die cut the stitched rectangle included in the Wrap Around Box set 3 times out if white cardstock and then I die cut the Woodland Borders and the Catch a Wave dies out of 2 of them to create my little ocean and sand. I gave everything some color by sponging some Distress Inks and them I moved on to my images.

I stamped, colored and die cut the Coastal cuties and I also added the palm tree included in the Seasonal Trees set to set my simple scene. I glued everything down and added a little stripe of kraft cardstock at the top to give my scene a Polaroid feeling.

I added some details with a white gel pen and some clear embellishment to finish my design. Hope you like it and thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hi crafty friends! It's Mona here, today I am showing you a funny card with the Coastal Cuties and Best Fishes stamp sets.

I started the card making with ink blending. I blended  the blue "underwater" cardstock from the Summer Splash paper pad with Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks, then I splattered on it with white, blue and dark blue watercolor. I repeated this process on a blue and brown cardstock too.

When it was dry I adhered it to the card base, then ran through my die-cut machine with the stitched window die from the Wrap Around Box dies. Next I created the sand with the Woodland Border dies and dotted brown paper. When it was done I stamped the sentiments with Watermark Ink and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. I adhered the blue splattered cardstock to the inside of my card.

The next step was the stamping and coloring. I stamped the images with the Coastal Cuties, Best Fishes and Magical Mermaids stamp sets and colored them with my Copic Markers. After the coloring I ran them through the die-cut machine with the coordinating dies.

In the end I styled my card and added a cute shark to the center on an Action Mini Wobbles and my card was ready.

Catch A Wave Die Cards with Leanne and Eloise

Hi there! Leanne here and I have a tall portrait style card to share that features a layered ocean scene I created with the help of the new Catch a Wave dies. I used images from Magical Mermaids and Oceans of Joy to tuck into the wave layers to make this into a fun, whimsical birthday card for my niece.  

I started with a card base that measures 8 inches tall by 4 inches wide. With a round blending sponge and Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink, I added a sun to the top of the card. I then lightly blended some Tumbled Glass ink around the sun. To create the wave layers I die cut some aqua glitter card stock and a custom colored panel of card stock with the Catch a Wave dies.

The custom colored card stock was created with an ink smooshing technique using Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistachio, and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks then splattered with thinned white paint. Once I had enough die cut layers, I adhered the waves onto the card base, alternating the glitter and ink smooshed card stock.  

I Copic colored several images to tuck into the wave layers. The two mermaids, seahorse, starfish, and rock are from Magical Mermaids. The sea turtle and fish are from Oceans of Joy. I used Glue Dots to adhere the images. I find that Glue Dots stick well to the textured glitter card stock. I silver heat embossed a birthday greeting from the Magical Mermaids stamp set. Lastly as a little touch of embellishment, I added some clear sequins randomly around the scene.

Hi friends, Eloise here and today we are using the new Catch A Wave Dies. I paired this with the new Best Fishes Stamp Set to create this diagonal under the sea design.

I started off with stamping my images, colouring them with Copic Markers and then cutting them out. I then used the Catch A Wave Dies to cut a border from a piece of watercolour cardstock. I made sure to die cut it at an angle, as well.

(Copic Markers Used: BG10, BG11, BG13, BG49 / YG61, YG63, YG67, G28 / E41, E42, E43, E44 / Y11, Y13, Y15, Y18 / YR00, YR02, YR12, YR18 / Y21, YR21, YR23, YR24 / YG01, YG23, YG07, YG17 / RV21, RV23, RV25, RV29 / C0, C1, C3, C5 / W00, W0, W1, W3, W5, W7, W9 / 0 / R30)

I then used some blue Distress Oxide Inks and ink blended onto the wave piece. I then took some brown Distress Oxide Inks and did the same to a small sand bank piece I created with scissors. I splattered on some water, dried it off with a heat tool and adhered the two together. I then cut the bottom of the panel at an angle to match the top with my trimmer.

(Distress Oxide Inks Used: Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean / Scattered Straw, Gathered Twigs)

I then arranged my images over the top of my ink blended panel and adhered them down into place. I added foam tape onto the back of my panel and adhered it down to a white card base and then stamped the ‘Best Fishes’ sentiment at an angle using a stamp positioning tool.
