Hi crafty friends! It's Mona Toth here and I am super excited for be a guest on the Sunny Studio Blog! I have two cards for today what I made with the Merry Mice, Scenic Route and Cruising Critters stamp sets.

For my first card I started the cardmaking with stamping and coloring. I stamped the images from the Merry Mice and the Scenic Route stamp sets then I colored them with Copic Markers. After the coloring I die-cut the images with coordinating dies and added highlights with Signo Uniball white pen.

For the background added Frilly Frames Chevron Dies with Neenah Solar White cardstock then I cut a little smaller cardstock made ink blending on it with Spun Sugar and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink. After the ink blending I stamped the "Merry Christmouse" sentiments with clear watermark ink and made a quick heat embossing on it.

To the background I added a beautiful red cardstock from Striped Silly 6x6 Paper Pad behind the background die-cut. In the end I styled my card and adhered everything together.

For my second card I made almost the same process, but this time I have used the Cruising Critters stamp set together with the Scenic Route set. I colored them with Copic markers as well.

For the background I die-cut the Layered Snowflake Frame Die from a cream cardstock and created with it this sweet but festive scene.

In the end I run the "Winter Wishes" sentiment through my die-cut machine with red cardstock, adhered to my card and it was ready.

Snowflake Frame Dies Focused Cards with Angelica and Juliana

Hi friends! Angelica here. I made a cute treat bag to share today, featuring the Layered Snowflake Frame dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Layered Snowflake Frame Dies Circle Snowflake Frame Dies Sweet Treats Gift Bag Feeling Frosty Winter Holiday Gift Bag by Angelica Conrad

I used the Sweet Treat Bag die to die-cut pink card stock, then die cut a window from the bag with the smaller Snowflake Frame. I closed the window with acetate, and attached the bag together. I punched holes out for ribbon, added a cellophane bag of baked cookies, and closed the bag with a bow.

I added a Feeling Frosty snowman and tree with thin foam squares. I finished the bag with a small Sweet Treat Bag tag, using Holiday Cheer pattern paper to decorate the top, and stamps from Season's Greetings stamp set to add the words.

I hope you like my treat bag! That's all that I have for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Sunny Studio Friends! It's Juliana here to share a wintery shadow box card created using the Layered Snowflake Frame Dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Layered Snowflake Frame Dies Circle Snowflake Frame Dies Sweet Treats Gift Bag Rustic Winter Card by Juliana Michaels

To get started, I took the Layered Snowflake Frame Dies the large snowflake frame from white cardstock and trimmed it into a square. I then die cut the small snowflake frame from silver cardstock and trimmed it the same size as the white piece. I layered this behind the white frame using strips of foam tape to pop it up. Next, I cut a piece of the wavy paper from the Subtle Grey Tones 6x6 Paper Pad and trimmed it to size of the white frame. I added another layer of foam tape to the edge of the silver snowflake frame before adhering it to the patterned paper to really add to the shadow box look.

I then took the Rustic Winter Dies and cut the deer and trees from white cardstock, and placed them inside the frame to create the wintery scene. To give it a bit of dimension I used double sided foam tape behind the deer. I then used the snowflake dies from the Layered Snowflake Frame Dies and the Snowflake Circle Frame Dies and added a few of them cut from silver cardstock to complete the scene.

I thought about adding a sentiment to the front of the card, but I love how pretty the card looks without it. I think it would make a beautiful display piece sitting out during the holidays and you can add the sentiment and well wishes easily enough on the inside of the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed learning how to create a wintery shadow box card featuring the Layered Snowflake Frame Dies

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Keeway Tsao

Hello friends! It’s Keeway Tsao from Kiwi Koncepts and I’m so excited to be here today to share with you some fun holiday inspirations with the Winter 2019 release!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Merry Mice Christmas Garland Frame Die Christmas Cards by Keeway Tsao

My first showcases the Merry Mice stamp and dies and Christmas Garland frame die. I first stamped the mice in stockings in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them up with copic markers. I then used the matching dies to die cut the images out.

Next, I die cut the Christmas Garland frame out of white card stock. I then used a blending brush to ink blend various green distress oxide inks onto the frame. The different green inks add variation and depth to the pine. I ink blended an A2 panel with a lighter green and yellow ink colors to back the frame and also added berries that I had die cut out of red card stock.

I stamped the sentiment in the bottom center and added my images above it with foam tape. Finally, I lightly dabbed on glue around each berry and sprinkled chunky glitter onto it to give it a sparkly look. After giving it a few minutes to dry, I used a brush to gently remove any loose glitter remaining on the card.

My next card showcases the Santa Claus Lane stamps and dies and Layered Snowflake Frame Die. Again, I stamped my images in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. I die cut the images out with the matching dies.

My background costs of three layers. The bottom layer is ink blended with Blueprint Sketch, Broken China, and Tumbled Glass distress oxide inks and splattered with white paint. The center layer is die cut with the smaller of the two Layered Snowflake Frames out of white card stock and gently blended with Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink. The top layer is die cut with the larger of the two Layered Snowflake Frames out of white card stock and ink blended with Broken China and Tumbled Glass distress oxide inks. These layers were adhered together.

I used the large ‘merry christmas’ sentiment die from Christmas Garland frame die out of red card stock. This was added towards the bottom half of the card, with the images right above it with foam tape. Now that I’m in the glittery mood, I decided to dab some clear adhesive around the frame to add some chunky glitter around the snowflake frame for a sparkly final touch!

Hope you enjoy today’s inspiration and see you next time!

Hedgey Holidays Cards with Leanne and Eloise

Hello everyone, Leanne here! I have a fun holiday card to share featuring the cutest little hedgehog from a special mini set called Hedgey Holidays. I used the hedgehog, which is almost perfectly symmetrical, to make this into a spinner card, When the recipient opens the card, the hedgehog spins.

Spinner cards are very easy to make. You just need to make two of the spinning element to adhere back to back. For this card I started by die cutting a frame for the spinner. I used the Layered Snowflake Frame to cut out the opening in the card front and a separate A2 size panel which has a light sponging of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink around the edges. I Copic colored two hedge hogs and fussy cut them out. I then adhered some clear thread between the two hedgehog images. Using some strong adhesive, I secured the ends of the thread to the card front so the hedgehog is centered within the opening. I then adhered the inked panel over top. I added some snowflakes and holly leaves on both sides of the spinning hedgehog.

To finish off the front of the card, I added some stamped pines sprigs with berries and a two part greeting. I die cut the large Happy Word from green glitter card stock to layer behind a sentiment strip white heat embossed with hedge holidays.

I also needed to decorate the inside of the card since a large part of it can be seen through the snowflake frame opening. I made masks by die cutting snowflakes out of Post It Note paper. I placed the snowflake masks in a random arrangement and then gently sponged on some Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink. I removed the masks and then splattered with thinned red paint.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Hi friends, Eloise here and today I’m using the Hedgey Holidays Stamp Set along with Scenic Route to create my Christmas card today.

I started off with stamping out my images and colouring them in with Copic Markers. I then cut them all out with the coordinating dies.

(Copic Markers Used: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, E79 / R00, R30 / R14, R17, R24, R39 / RV11, RV25 / YG03, YG17 / BG11, BG49 / Y13 / B00, B12 / R20, R22)

I added foam tape to the backs of the lights and adhered them onto an off-white card base. I then added foam to the back of the hedgehog and adhered that into the centre also. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment ‘Christmas Hedgehugs’ onto the card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I’ll see you all next time.
