Just Bee-cause Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hello to you! Vanessa here today with an inside shadowbox card using the Just Bee-Cause set. The outside is pretty simple, the magic is happening inside:

I first created my inside shadowbox card using white cardstock, my scoring board and a rectangle die. Before assembling it, I colored the inside bottom with green Copics. Then I covered the front with patterned paper from the Amazing Argyle 6x6 pad. 

Using the Comic Strip Everyday Dies, I die-cut the strip of grass from white cardstock, colored it green and adhered it inside. Now I stamped all the images, colored them with Copics, die-cut them with the matching dies and adhered the elements to the card.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment for the outside and the inside onto a strip of yellow cardstock, trimmed it and adhered the strips to the card. I love how the the various Sunny Studio stamps work together! Besides the Just Bee-Cause set, I used A Bird's Life, Happy Harvest and Silly Sloths.

Hello everyone, Anja here and today I'm featuring the adorable Just Bee-cause 2x3 mini stamp set. It works perfectly with the Frilly Frames Hexagon Dies.

I used both dies together and cut the scalloped hexagon design from yellow cardstock. I layered it on top of a piece of patterned paper from the Heroic Halftones Paper pack.

Next, I die cut a circle from Bristol paper and did some ink blending with Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks. I added two stitched clouds using the Fluffy Clouds Dies. To make them lighter, I carefully applied white pigment ink with a sponge dauber. I die cut one of the Fancy Frames Circle Dies and adhered it to the sky background circle.

I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a strip of black cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Finally, I adhered the framed circle and images with foam tape and tucked the sentiment strip under the beehive.

Frilly Frame Dies Focused Cards with Angelica and Juliana

Hi friends, Angelica here with a fun fall card. I love the colors of fall, and decided to color the petals in the Frilly Frames Retro Petals in a fall rainbow. 

I love the Frilly Frames collection. Each set comes with two dies- an outside frame, and an inside pattern. I taped the two dies together with purple tape to get the same cut three times. I die-cut a white card stock panel attached to a Deco Foil White Foam Adhesive sheet. I lifted the frame off the adhesive sheet, and was left with the petals. I colored the petals with Copic Markers in rainbow order. 

I die- cut another panel of white card stock with the same Frilly Frames, then attached it to a card base. I added the petals, one at a time, with tweezers. Once finished, I attached a brown card stock die cut frame.

I stamped a sentiment from Woodsy Autumn stamp set onto white card stock, and trimmed it to a small strip. I added the sentiment with thin foam squares to finish the card.

Hello Sunny Studio Friends! It's Juliana and today I'm sharing a fall themed card featuring the Frilly Frames Retro Petals Die. Instead of using the die as a die, I'm sharing how to get an embossed look with them. I always love stretching my supplies and getting the most out of them. Don't you?!

To create the background, I took the inside piece from the Frilly Frames Retro Petals Die and a piece of water color paper. I then layered it per the die cutting machine instructions on how to emboss with a die. This varies from machine to machine, so please refer to your specific one for details. I then ran it through my machine and it revealed a beautifully embossed design. Next, I took the stitched frame and die cut the embossed paper to give it the stitched edge.

Once the embossing and die cutting was complete, I inked the paper with a mix of Distress Oxide in Rusty Hinge, Fossilized Amber and Mustard Seed. To activate the oxide, I spritzed the paper with water and dabbed it dry.

I then stamped a border of leaves using the Elegant Leaves Stamps. I stamped these images using the Distress Oxide Inks as well. For the leaves I used Fired Brick, Frayed Burlap and Forest Moss. I love the the embossed design shows through the stamped leaves. This technique works really great for stamp images that have a more solid design. To finish off the card, I added a sentiment from the Happy Harvest Stamp Set.

Frilly Frames Die Focused Cards with Lexa and Rachel

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a bright colorful card highlighting Frilly Frame Retro Petals, I use it as a background of my card. The cutest Plane Awesome Stamps is so irresistible, the interchangeable pilots on the plane.

I stamp the images from Plane Awesome Stamps with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers, after I finished with the coloring I use the coordinating dies to cut the all. For the background I use a turquoise cardstock for the retro pattern and lay them on top of yellow dots patterned paper from Heroic Halftones Paper Pad. It gives a nice contrast, makes the card look so colorful and cheerful. 

I adhere the Fluffy Cloud Borders with foam tapes to create dimensions and make the center image more pop out. To make an illusion of sky, I also add some stitched clouds using Fluffy Cloud Dies and some pink hearts flying on the air. Using glossy accent to create the shine on the googles and tiny hearts. Don't they look adorable?

Hello, crafty friends! It's Rachel here and I have a clean and simple card to share with you today featuring the Frilly Frames Retro Petals Die Set. I wanted to keep my card simple so that the beautiful design from the Retro Petals would not be overshadowed by too many images.

I used some single apples from the new Woodsy Autumn Stamp Set, and the basket of apples and pumpkins from the Happy Harvest Stamp Set. I stamped all of my images with Black Ink, colored with Copics, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I then die cut a stitched scallop circle from white card stock using the Fancy Frames Circle Dies. 

I attached my Frilly Frames Base to some red card stock and then added my die cut circle to the top center portion of my card using some liquid adhesive. I attached all of my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for some added dimension. Lastly, I added a few little sprigs from the Elegant Leaves Stamp Set that I had stamped with some dark green ink.

Just Bee-cause Cards with Eloise and Leanne

Hello everyone, Eloise here and today I have a card to share with you all using the Just Bee-Cause Stamp Set. I paired it with the Frilly Frames Hexagon Dies just because they work together so well.

I started off with stamping a ton of the images from Just Bee-Cause and colouring them in with Copic Markers. Once they were coloured; I cut them out. I also cut the Frilly Frames Hexagon Dies from two shades of yellow cardstock, too.

(Copic Markers Used: Y00, Y11, Y15, Y19 / B0000, B000, B01 / 0 / W2, W3, W5, W7)

I popped up the entire hexagon panel onto a white card base using foam tape, and then adhered some of the same coloured hexagon die cuts inside using liquid glue. I then took some of the lighter coloured hexagons and adhered them around randomly using foam tape. I then adhered my bees and beehive in place, too.

For the sentiment I white heat embossed ‘Just Bee-Cause’ onto a thin black strip and adhered it onto the card. Lastly, I took some yellow twine and tied a bow around one of the hexagon dividers.

Hello there! Leanne here and today we are showcasing a sweet little stamp set called Just Bee-cause. I have always been a big fan of bee themed stamp sets so I was very anxious to play with this one. 

This card is A2 size. I started with the decorative backdrop of pattern paper and die cut hexagon overlay. The pattern paper I used is from the Colorful Autumn paper pad. I added the Hexagon Frilly Frames, die cut from black card stock, right over top the pattern paper panel. Next I die cut a Stitched Oval from white card stock to build my bee scene onto.  

I stamped and Copic colored the bees and hive. I wanted to include some flowers with the scene, so I used sunflower and leaf images from Happy Harvest. I adhered the images onto the oval base in an assymetrical arrangement with dimensional foam squares. I knew I wanted to stamp the greeting directly onto the white card stock oval, so I made sure to leave a gap when adding the images.  

I stamped "just bee-cause" and the bee trail with black ink. The bee trail and sentiment are included in the Just Bee-cause stamp set. I decided to leave this card more on the simple side to keep the focus on the sweet bee scene. I really loved how this one turned out. I hope I have given you some inspiration today for using these fabulous new Sunny Studio products. I'll see you next week!
