Birthday Mouse Card with Tina

Hello crafty friends, Tina here with a sweet birthday celebration! For this card I combined the new cute Birthday Mouse with the adorable Harvest Mice. These sets work so well together!!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Birthday Mouse Birthday Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Everyday Greetings, Country Scenes)

To create this scene card, I started with a rectangle panel of Neenah Solar White cardstock which I cut with the outer portion of the Frilly Frames Stripes die.

I stamped part of the tree scene of Country Scenes directly to this panel, leaving some room at the bottom to draw a straight road for my bicycling mouse. I colored the trees, grass, and road with my Copics. Next, I stamped and die cut the sweet mice, butterflies, cheese and the umbrella with chair (Paris Afternoon). For the little candle I used the tiny confetti stamp from Birthday Cat and drew a small flame on top. All the coloring was done with Copics.

The top of the card panel was inked with Distress Oxides Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo using a cloud stencil from my stash. I stamped a greeting from Every Day Greetings (I absolutely love the size and font of these sentiments!) onto the sky portion of the panel with my go to Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Now let’s assemble the card, starting by adhering the panel to a card base. Next, I thought it would look great to frame the scene using two Rectangle Infinity dies. I added all the images some of them popped up with foam tape. This card is already so colorful I decided to skip adding any embellishments. I really love how these mice are celebrating together! I hope you will have fun mixing and matching new products with supplies from your stash!

Thank you for visiting the blog and happy crafting!

Autumn Greenery Die Focused Cards with Tina and Vanessa

Hello crafty friends, Tina here with a card that features the amazing new Autumn Greenery Dies! Such a versatile die set to have in your stash. It’s fun to combine a pile of leaves with some cute critters. I usually go for bright deep colors but today I wanted to achieve a more pastel look.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Autumn Greenery Card by Tina (featuring Fall Friends, Chloe Alphabet Dies, Scalloped Oval Mat Dies)

First, I die cut a bunch of different shaped leaves from the set and started ink blending them with Distress Oxides, I used Salvaged Patina, Saltwater Taffy, Spiced Marmelade, Squeezed Lemonade and Vintage Photo.

Next, I stamped and die cut my adorable critters from the sets Fall Friends and Beach Buddies. The little acorns are also from that first set. All the coloring was done with Copic markers, and I used my trusty white gel pen for some highlights on the images. For my background panel, I selected a beautiful blue gingham paper from the new Joyful Holiday paper pad.

Next, I die cut an oval from Neenah Solar White card stock with the Scalloped Oval Mat 1 set. This will be the base for my little Autumn scene. I wanted to create a huge pile of leaves for the critters to play hide and seek in. After adhering the leaves to the oval, I added the critters and the little acorns.

The Chloe Alphabet Dies are perfect to customize your sentiments. To give the letters some dimension I die cut them 3 times from Neenah White card stock and once from the gingham paper. I stacked the letters using liquid glue and added them to the card.

Finally, I stamped the word ‘Happy’ from the Fall Friends set and mounted it with foam tape onto the oval frame. As embellishment I put in two extra acorns left and right of the sentiment. I added foam tape to the blue background panel and mounted it to an orangey brown card base.

That finishes my pastel Autumn card, thank you so much for stopping by and happy crafting!

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a slimline fall card using the Autumn Greenery Dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Autumn Greenery Card by Vanessa Menhorn (featuring Slimline Dies, Everyday Greetings, Pumpkin Patch Dies)

I first created my leaves, starting with a panel of watercolor paper. I smeared the Distress Oxide inks Carved Pumpkin, Wilted Violet, Squeezed Lemonade, Preserved Seeds and Kitsch Flamingo onto an acrylic block, spritzed this with water and applied the ink to the paper with a freeze bag. You can find a little video about that process here.

After I had dried the colors, I die-cut the leaves from the panel. Next, I die-cut the rectangle from white cardstock, using the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies and inked the panel with Wilted Violet and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide inks. Then I adhered the leaves and trimmed off the edges. Now I applied violet and gold ink droplets all over the front and stamped the sentiment from Everyday Greetings. After adhering the panel to the card, I die-cut the small swirls from the Pumpkin Patch dies from gold cardstock and added them to the card.

Enjoy your weekend and thank you for visiting today!

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a clean & simple card using the fun Wonky Windows Dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Wonky Window Card by Vanessa Menhorn (featuring Passionate Penguins, Baby Elephants, Bunnyville)

I first die-cut the windows from white cardstock and trimmed this into a square to fit the card base. Then I inked the background behind the windows with Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide inks and adhered the panel to the card base.

Here comes a list of the sets I used:
Baby Elephants stamps + dies (elephant)
Passionate Penguins stamps + dies (penguin)
Bunnyville stamps + dies (bunny)
Oceans of Joy stamps + dies (balloon)
Looking Sharp stamps + dies (large party hat)
Party Pups stamps + dies (hats + cupcake)

Now I stamped my images, colored them with Copics, die-cut the pieces with the matching dies and adhered the elements to the card with foam-tape. After I had stamped the sentiment, I added clay confetti to finish the card off.

I hope you like my clean card! Have a happy weekend!

---------------------------------------------

Hello friends!  Audrey here! Today, I have a card to share with you that mixes old and new. I used the Wonky Windows die from the summer release, and paired it with one of my older Sunny Studio favorites, Garden Fairy

Sunny Studio Stamps: Wonky Window Card by Audrey Tokach (featuring Garden Fairy)

To create this card, I started off by die cutting a piece of white cardstock cut to 4" x 5.25" with the Wonky Windows die, which I placed closer to the right side of the panel. I used distress ink in Shaded Lilac and Blueprint Sketch to ink blend a light to dark ombre going down the front of the panel. Then, I stamped and colored three fairies and the flowers from the Garden Fairy stamp set, and die cut them with the coordinating Garden Fairy dies. I backed the panel with a piece of polka dot paper from the Dots and Stripes Pastels 6x6 paper pad. I adhered the two together with foam tape to leave a little room to tuck in my images.

To the left of the center opening, I stamped a sentiment from Garden Fairy in black ink, and used Shaded Lilac and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink to stamp the tiny stars scattered about the card front.  Once everything was adhered to the window panel, I added the panel to a white A2 card base.

Blooming Frame Dies Focused Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a new card using the wonderful Blooming Frame Die

Sunny Studio Stamps: Blooming Frame Dies Birthday Card by Vanessa Menhorn

When I made this card, I was preparing for our trip to Paris and saw the gorgeous Art Deco and Art Nouveau elements, so I was inspired to create a card dedicated to this style.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Blooming Frame Dies Birthday Card by Vanessa Menhorn

First, I inked the front of my card base with Crushed Olive, Lucky Clover and Pine Needles Distress Oxide Inks. Then I die-cut the Blooming Frame from dark green cardstock and adhered it. Now I applied Versamark Ink to a piece of yellow cardstock, heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder and die-cut the "happy birthday" from it. After I had adhered the sentiment, I added green pearls from the Rainbow Pearls mix.

I hope you like my take on this wonderful die! Thank you so much for visiting today!

------------------------------------------

Hello everyone, Anja here and today I'm back with a floral Thank You card using the Blooming Frame Die along with the beautiful Pink Peonies Stamps.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Blooming Frame Dies Pink Peonies Everyday Greetings Thank You Card by Anja Bytyqi

I started with the background by ink blending the Distress Oxides Spun Sugar, Milled Lavender and Wilted Violet onto some Bristol cardstock. I also added a couple of ink splatters with a paint brush.

Next, I die cut the Blooming Frame Die from white heavyweight cardstock using an extra metal shim in my die cutting machine due to the intricate details. I wanted to create a frame design, so I also die cut a rectangle window out of the center. I love how you can see the ink blended background behind the die-cut.

I stamped the sentiment from the Everyday Greetings set in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. For my floral cluster, I stamped the peonies and leaves in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. This helps staying inside the lines while watercoloring. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and arranged them at the bottom left corner of the rectangle window. I used foam tape to pop up the peonies and tucked the leaves behind them. Finally, I adhered some matching sequins and added tiny dots of Nuvo Fairy Wings Dream Drops.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a lovely day!

Hawaiian Hibiscus Cards with Rachel and Lexa

Hello, everyone! It's Rachel here and I have a fun tropical shaker square card to share with you today featuring the new Hawaiian Hibiscus layering stamps. I just love all of the gorgeous detail that you get from this set! I combined this set with some flamingos from the Tropical Paradise Stamp Set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Hawaiian Hibiscus Fancy Frames Tropical Paradise Summer Themed Card by Rachel Alvarado

To create my flowers, I simply used 4 different colors to stamp each one.
  • Light Pink: MFT Tickled Pink, Cotton Candy, Ripe Raspberry, and Razzle Berry
  • Dark Pink: MFT Cotton Candy, Ripe Raspberry, Razzle Berry, and Hero Arts Raspberry Jam
  • Purple: Altenew Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart, Purple Wine, and Cosmic Berry
  • Greens: Altenew Parrot, Bamboo, and Olive

For my flamingos, I stamped them with Memento Tuexedo Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored with Copic Markers. I like to use a lot of different shades to blend my coloring but only a few of the ones listed would be sufficient. (Pinks: RV0000, RV00, RV02, RV04, RV06, and RV09. Legs: R12, RV55. Yellow beak: Y13, Y17, and E35. Black part of beak: W5, W7.) I then used the coordinating Tropical Paradise Dies to cut them out.

Next, I assembled the base of my card with these components. I quickly blended some Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers on a piece of scrap paper for the background of my card. I then colored some sand using some Copic Markers (E41, E42). I used the Fancy Frames Circle Dies to die cut a beautiful scalloped circle frame from pink card stock. I trimmed my card base to 5"x5" prior to die cutting a circular hole/window in the center.

I added all of my Hibiscus flowers with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares for some added dimension and the leaves with liquid adhesive. Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder onto a strip of black card stock and then diecut it with the small oval die from the Sunny Border Dies and filled my card with some Studio Katia Majestic Mini Sequins.

I hope you enjoyed my card! Thanks so much for dropping by today and have a wonderful weekend!

-------------------------------------------------------

Hi everyone! Lexa here today to share a see through card using Hawaiian Hibiscus Stamp and the coordinating dies. It's inspired from Jennifer McGuire's cards. The hibiscus flowers from Sunny Studio is sure the prettiest layered stamp, they have couple of other flowers too. Make sure to check them out.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Hawaiian Hibiscus Everyday Greetings Floral Best Wishes Card by Lexa Levana

First, I cut a 4.25"x5.5" paper in half. Blend Wild Honey and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks on one part. Then use the other one for a guide rectangle to arrange the hibiscus. Stamp the flowers in two colors, pink and orange with some dye inks. Then use the coordinating dies to cut every pieces. Arrange them on the piece of paper I mentioned above, use a washi tapes to keep them in their places and trim the excess on three sides. Make sure to leave them hanging on one side. After the trimmings, use strong adhesive glue on overlapping pieces. You'll have a see through panel ready.

Adhere the hanging part on the blended panel. It's simple and easy, but turns out so beautiful. I use Everyday Greetings Stamps and copper embossed it on pink paper piece. Adhere it with foam tapes so it will pop out. Last touch is add pretty yellow jewels here and there. I love the bright colors and how pretty the hibiscus are.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, don't forget to leave me some love on the comments below. I hope you like today's card as much as I do. Have a wonderful day!
