Christmas Garland Frame Cards with Franci and Ana

Hello there! Franci here with you today with a Christmas card showcasing the new Christmas Garland Frame Die set!

Also, I had to bring back one of my fave cuties ever for this card: this little bear from the Playful Polar Bear set! First of all I inked some white cardstock with Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress Inks, then I die cut my intricate frame out of it and set it aside. I created a coordinated cardbase out of white cardstock and I also cut out 2 matching panel. I die cut a stitched hill out of the first using the Woodland Borders set and colored the second one by sponging Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks. I let it dry completely then added some white and sparkle watercolor splatters.

I stamped, colored and die cut all the images from these sets: Playful Polar Bears + coordinated dies, Santa Claus Lane + coordinated dies, Hogs and kisses + coordinated dies. I added some details with a white gel pen, then assembled the scene and glued everything down with a combo of liquid glue and foam adhesive. Finally I added some of the new Blue Snowflake Confetti here and there as embellishments.

Hello crafties! It’s Ana here with a blue glittery Christmas card featuring Christmas Garland Frame Die from the new holiday release!

For this card I had glitter garland with lots of sparkle and shine in mind! I started with die cutting a piece of light blue glitter cardstock with garland frame and Merry Christmas dies. I cut the frame twice and sentiments 3 times out of light blue cardstock and adhered all the layers of each die cut together, offsetting the layers of the sentiment to create the shadow. Next, I die cut the berries out of navy and white cardstock and layered them, then cut holly leaves (from Basic Mini Shape dies set) out of white cardstock.

For the background, I inked Iced Spruce, Stormy Sky and Broken China distress ink, leaving the center light. Once the panel was dry I white heat embossed a few snowflakes (from Alpaca Holiday stamps). I adhered all the die cuts to the background and to finish off the card, added glossy accents to the berries.

Sweet Treat Projects with Leanne and Eloise

Hi everyone! Leanne here today. It's never too early to start thinking about holiday gift giving so I have a treat bag idea to share with you.

I've used the new Sweet Treat Bag die to create a festive tote style bag to hold any little gift or some special treats. I've mixed and matched a bunch of different Sunny Studio products to create and decorate the bag. They are all listed and linked below:

Be sure to check out the video here for a tutorial on the assembly of the bag. The bag itself is very quick and easy to assemble. The sky's the limit when it comes to decorating. I chose a candy and cocoa theme for mine. I just love that fun peppermint candy pattern that I used for the body of the bag. Sunny Studio patterned papers are the perfect weight for projects like this. The paper is 65lb. weight which creates a sturdy bag.  It can be filled with candy or would be a fun way to give a gift card.

Hi friends, Eloise here and today I’ll be using the Sweet Treat House Add On Set to create my card today.

I started off with making a card base from plain white cardstock. I cut it down to 3 3/8” wide by 9” long. I then scored it at 4 ½” inches and also scored ½” strips along the front of the card to look like wood paneling.

I then die cut out all the elements I would be using. I used a dark grey and black cardstock to cut the scallop roofing out. I used some yellow cardstock for behind the windows and door and then used some wood veneer paper for the door and window frames. I also used some green for the wreath and red for the bow.

I adhered all my pieces together and adhered them onto my card base to resemble a little Christmas decorated farmhouse. I opted not to use a sentiment, but you could easily add one if you like.

Feeling Frosty Cards with Eloise and Leanne

Hi friends, Eloise here and today I’m using the Feeling Frosty Stamp Set to create a cute winter friendship card.

I started off with stamping and colouring in my images from Feeling Frosty with Copic Markers. Once they were coloured, I added white gel pen details and cut them out.

I took a snowy hill stencil and also some watercolour cardstock and ink blended some blue snowy hills onto the cardstock. I then cut it down to 2 3/4” wide by 5 1/8” tall and then stamped the sentiment ‘Snow Happy We’re Friends’ onto it. 

I then added foam tape onto the back and adhered it onto a grey card base. Lastly, I adhered my images over the top with more foam tape and my card was complete.

Hi friends, Leanne here! I have another quick and easy card to share today that features a gathering of adorable snowman images from the Feeling Frosty set. 

This card is A2 size and I've covered the card front with a colorful stripe pattern from the Very Merry paper pad. I die cut two scalloped square tags to house my snow family grouping and greeting.

I masked off the scalloped edges and blended on some light blue ink to the center of the tags. I picked several of the snowman images from Feeling Frosty to fill the large tag.  

I grouped the snowmen together like they were posing for a family photo. 

The Feeling Frosty set has sentiments to build some custom greetings. I choose one that's very appropriate for this family themed card. I die cut a little heart using the Basics Mini Shape Dies II to place just below the stamped greeting. Lastly I added some snowflake sequins and a twine bow to the small tag.

Comic Strip Speech Bubble Cards with Leanne and Eloise

Hello everyone, Leanne here! I have a fun holiday card to share today. I love a good grid design and the Comic Strip Speech Bubble die makes it so easy. The hardest part was deciding what color to use for the comic strip frame. I tried a few different solid colored card stocks, but eventually chose a colorful polka dot print from the Holiday Cheer 6x6 paper pad. I think the polka dot print adds just the right amount whimsy to the card. 

I created an ink blended aqua background using a combo of Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide inks.  I generously splattered the background panel with thinned white paint. I then adhered the Comic Strip frame overtop and stamped the greetings in the two small square areas of the frame. The stamped greetings are from the Mug Hugs set. 

I Copic colored the images from Mug Hugs and cut them out with the coordinating Mug Hug dies. I adhered them with dimensional foam squares. For a bit of sparkle and pizzazz, I added some glittery die cut snowflakes and a few clear sequins. I adhered this festive panel to an A2 size card base and my first holiday card of the season was complete!

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I’m using the Comic Strip Speech Bubble Dies along with the Super Duper Stamp Set to create an superhero themed card.

I started off with stamping out my images onto some white cardstock. On one sheet I stamped one of the superheroes and the bursts randomly. And then on the other sheet, I stamped out the rest of the superheroes and accessories more carefully so they would fit underneath the Comic Strip Speech Bubble Dies. For the ‘randomly’ stamped sheet, I used bright colours for each of them and the other background piece I used all greys.

(Copic Markers Used: W00, W0, W1, W3, W5, W7, W9 / R14, R24, R27, R89 / Y11, Y13, Y15, Y19 / E41, E42, E43, E44 / E000, E00, E02, E21 / B91, B93, B95, B97)

Once all the pieces were coloured in, I die cut the colourful images out. Then instead of die cutting out the grey coloured pieces, I cut masks for those instead.

I then adhered the masks over the top of the grey coloured images and ink blended some Pumice Stone and Hickory Smoke Distress Inks over the entire background. Lighter in the middle and darker on the outside. I flicked on some water and dried it off with a heat tool. I removed the masks to reveal the greyscale background.

I die cut out the Comic Strip Speech Bubble Dies from white cardstock and adhered it over the top. I then added foam tape onto the coloured images and adhered them into place too.

Lastly, I cut a red speech bubble out and white heat embossed ‘You’re Incredible’ onto it. I then added foam tape and adhered it onto my card. I then finished up with adhering the Primary Star Confetti into place around the card as well.

Frilly Frames Dies Cards with Angelica and Juliana

Hi friends, Angelica here with a fun rainbow card. I love rainbows, and I love butterflies... so why not bring them together, right?? I used the Frilly Frames Stripes Dies to bring dimension to the card.

I went through my bin of card stock scraps, pulled out a rainbow of colors, and die-cut butterflies from the Basic Mini Shape Dies II. I also die-cut the bodies from black card stock. I glued them together, then got my card front ready. I added foam strips on the back side of the white Frilly Frames die cut, then attached it to a card base. I added white gel pen highlights to the butterflies, and attached them to the card. My last step was adding a white heat-embossed sentiment on black card stock. 

I love the white-on-white dimension, and is a perfect backdrop for the rainbow of butterflies. That's all that I have for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Friends! It's Juliana here to share 2 card ideas using the Frilly Frame Dies. I love how these dies can mix and match to create unlimited design options for your cards. Each card has a different take on how to use the dies, including how to use the negative pieces to create a second card.

To create the background on the first card, I centered the Frilly Frames Chevron Dies in the middle of a piece of light pink cardstock cut to 4.25 x 5.5 inches. I used Therm O Web Purple Tape to hold the die in place as I ran it through my die cutting machine. I repeated this same process with a piece of darker pink cardstock.

Next I took these darker pink piece and die cut it using the stitched scallop frame from the Frilly Frames Chevron Dies. I again used Therm O Web Purple Tape to hold the die in place. I then trimmed the lighter pink down to fit behind the darker pink piece and adhered them together. During the adhering process, I lifted some of the light pink pieces to lay on top of the darker pink pieces for added interest. I then trimmed a piece of pink patterned paper from the Flirty Flowers Paper and adhered that behind the die cut frames.

For the card front, I added a Fancy Frames Oval Die cut from white cardstock. I then stamped and colored an adorable flamingo from the Fabulous Flamingoes Stamps. The sentiment is from the Fabulous Flamingoes Stamps as well and I stamped it onto a piece of white cardstock die cut using the pennant die from the Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies.

To achieve the notched die on each end, I simple ran the die half way through my die cut machine, I then flipped the die over to cut the other end and ran that end halfway through my die cut machine. As always, I used Therm O Web Purple Tape to hold the die in place. I then finished off the card by adding some pink jewels to the frame.

For the second card, I took the negative pieces that you might normally throw away and used them to create a fun geometric design. I began by die cutting a piece of white cardstock using the zig zag die from the Frilly Frames Stripes Die.

I then took the chevron shaped die cut scraps from the first card, lined them up and adhered them onto the white cardstock frame. Next, I die cut “happy” from black cardstock using the Happy Word Die. I then stamped “birthday” from the Silly Sloths Stamps. To complete the card, I added some pink jewels.
